So it has been at least 7 years since I have gone to a dentist, probably closer to 10 years. I have had some less than positive experiences and I have an irrational fear on top of that but.... I knew I should go and I finally just bit the bullet and went to South Waterfront. The front desk woman (sorry I forgot her name!) was so vivacious yet warm she had a way of knocking some of the fear right out of me. Then I met Kim the hygienist! OH WOW~ that is a professional, yet warm, caring and perfect for her job human being! She was absolutely perfect, from asking me plenty of questions about what I was comfortable with to just holding a good conversation that gave me little time to feel my fears. She was gentle, had the best patient care manners and honestly I cant say enough about how she literally calmed every single fear I had. At the end of the visit Dr. Beck came in, he is amazingly personable, and assured me my fears were somewhat normal and that they will do everything to help me overcome those feelings during my scheduled cleaning and crown installation. I dont live in town but if I did I honestly believe that I would have no trouble overcoming my phobia and start to look forward to 6 month check ups. If you havent been to the dentist for awhile and youre hesitating, you can stop now and pick up the phone, this staff will put you right at ease. Thank you South Waterfront Dental, you are all in the exact business you were meant to be in.

Went for a cleaning and later a cavity filling for the first time in YEARS (well, the cavity filling). The cleaning and assessment was through and the cavity work was as painless as I could hope for (and quick!) and I was super nervous. Great staff, very friendly and inviting. Great hours too, was able to get in on a Saturday so as not to miss work and since I was so nervous about the filling it was nice to be able to schedule plenty of time to recover afterwards... even though I didnt really need it aside from letting the numbness wear off. Also, I did not feel pressured to do anything unnecessary but did feel like I could ask about anything. Kim and Dr. Morrow took great care of me! Also, the space is really bright and airy, doesnt feel like youre in an old cave-like County building like so many others.

I had to have a crown put on my tooth. I have never had one before and I wasnt looking forward to it. Dr. Beck made it easy though. He really made me feel at ease as did his assistant, Kim. They worked together as top notch professionals to get my crown put on. Dr. Beck explained every step to me in plain English. He showed me how he was going to model the crown and have it created right there in the office. The technology is pretty amazing. They have a machine that creates your crown based on a 3D scan of your tooth. One visit and youre done! I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Beck and the rest of the team at South Waterfront Dental. I also want to specifically recommend the other Kim, who I see for my regular dental appointments. She is always friendly and makes me feel at home.

I have only the best things to say about this office. I had a considerable amount of dental work that needed to be done and had also just moved to the area; (and I am a scaredy-cat when it came to the dentist); So I was extremely nervous on my first visit. Everyone was warm and welcoming and exceptionally friendly. Dr. Morrow did a fantastic job making me feel at ease, as did his entire staff (Thanks Aimee and Christina!) They truly go out of their way to calm fears and make you feel at home. I needed to come a few more times after that to finish up the work I needed done, and each time was a consistently easy and relaxing visit. They deserve an 11 out of 10 and come highly, highly recommended.

I love this dental office and I love that its in my neighborhood! The staff is very friendly and Dr Beck is very professional and down to earth! Christina at the front desk is great and greets you with a warm smile as soon as you walk in. No one likes going to the dentist, but the staff at this office makes you feel very welcomed! Kim, my hygienist was the best hygienist that has ever worked on me! She knows how to have a conversation, which is great for me because it makes time go by faster! She tells you what she is doing instead of just digging in your mouth! I love this dental office and my husband and I have found the perfect dentist for life!

OMG I cannot say enough great things about this office. I am also in the healthcare field but have a huge fear of dentist. Enough so that it has been 10 yrs since my last check up. However, Amber was more than comforting and reassuring to make the process of the initial cleaning as painless as possible and was always checking on me. Dr. Beck was more than reassuring and very knowledgeable of his trade. He made me feel comfortable and at ease from the moment he set down till I received his letter in the mail a few days later. I have already recommended his practice to several people. Way to go!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience. Was recommended by friends and family and was not disappointed. I contacted S. Waterfront Dental requesting an emergency appointment as I do not live in the Portland area My experience from making an appointment, through the exam to the procedures and follow-up was friendly and professional. Dr. Morrow took the extra time to thoroughly explain my situation and options of treatment and answer all of my questions. Even though I do not live in the area, I will make the team at South Waterfront, my dental care providers.

Personable and extremely thorough. Just went to them for the first time, for a routine checkup and cleaning. Everybody was very personable. The dental hygienist (Kim) and the dentist (Dr. Morrow) were both extremely thorough and did a great job of explaining to me exactly what they were doing and why. Their hours are really convenient for people who work full time (love the late evening hours). My only complaint is that they took a lot of X-rays, which I usually dont like to do. But all in all, very impressed. Ill definitely be going back.

Very clean, high tech and welcoming office. Ive never had any billing or scheduling issues. Kim is my favorite Hygienist. Dr. Beck did two of my fillings and I had some pain later that day. I called the office and Dr. Beck PERSONALLY called me back shortly there after to address my concern. I recommend all of my friends to South Waterfront!

They let me watch the world series on my phone while I got a filling done. The Cubs made me much more nervous than the dentist; honestly it was so fast and painless it was done before I even realized. I meant the procedure, not the series. Great dentist, great hours, okay parking, friendly staff.
