I was in EXTREME pain and no other dentist would see me on such short notice. I called and talked to the receptionist who got me an appointment first thing the next morning. I got there at 9am and was seen within 10 minutes. Dr. Hsu and the other staff were extremely friendly, gentle, caring and patient in accessing what was causing my pain and offered to pull the culprit teeth right there and then! I was amazed that they took their time, I got one initial numbing shot, then another a few minutes later and I hardly felt either of them (which has never been my experience before with other dentists). They let it set in for a good 10-15 minutes before giving me the final dose and then started right away on the procedure. I didnt feel a thing besides a bit of pressure and I was out of the clinic on my way home an hour and a half after walking in the door. No more pain! More than that, the bleeding stopped before I even went to bed and besides a bit of swelling, my mouth is healing amazingly! Thank you SO much Dr. Hsu for all of this and more...its called "Storybook" for a reason, he even walked me through what he was doing and told me a story while he was working, it was the best dental experience I have ever had! Most HORRIBLE experience ever!! I took my child here after having long conversations with the staff on her high anxiety with dentist. I was reassured it would be different. Instead of making her feel calm this dentist threatened TO THE CHILD to do the extraction without the nitrus because she was not complying and was crying. Then had the gaul to use the cost of the supplies as a means to get her to agree. He actualy said "we can do it the easy way or the hard way"! No pediatric dentist should threaten a child EVER!!! Needless to say we walked out and I will never go back or recommend. Thank you Dr. Hsu now for reassuring the fear in dentist for this child! UNACCEPTABLE!!!

The reason that I switched dentists is because my normal dentist made his own practice across town from the old one he worked at, Gentle Dental. Storybook is an amazing dentist for kids and families. A super fun place to go if you have hesitant children. The workers are nice and gentle. If more than just a checkup, they turn on a movie to watch. The full out form is to the point and then has fun trivial questions like who is your favorite movie/storybook character? Definitely would recommend it for families

My 7 yo came to Storybook for the first time today and was in LOVE! She could not stop talking about how fun and cool it was. Nir did she even mention the fact it was a dentist office. THAT speaks volumes. She found it to be an amazing experience and wants to go back tomorrow. Thanks everyone for making this such a positive experience.

The BEST dental visit EVER! All FOUR of my kids were done in 1 hour! The office was clean and efficient with a fun and knowledgeable staff. Dr. Hsu dressed up as Prince Charming for my girls and then changed into Captain America for my boys! I will always bring my kids here!

Absolutely fabulous staff!!! They made my sons first dental visit warm, inviting and full of smiles. The office is beautiful and very clean!! Our favorite was the indoor tree. The overall experience was amazing and I would highly recommend Storybook Dental to anyone!!
