On behalf of my family I would like to thank the staff and Kindred Chicago Lakeshore. My mom was there for a couple of months. I would like to send a special thankyou to the High Acuity Unit. Nurse Sue, Fernado, T.J., and the nurse with the distinct voice (sorry I forgot your name) and the entire team was very tenative to my moms needs and took excellent care of her. Vinny whose part of the Respiratory Team was awesome with my mom. Special Thank you to some of the Nurses on the fourth floor. Linda Rose, Kingston, Raz, Adea, Ms. Maria and Jaline I really appericated you guys you really helped my mom in her healing process. You guys took great care of my mom. (I know our family may have gotten on your nerves with the questions, and requests but as you all witnessed how much we love our mom and want nothing but the best treatment plan for her). In which you all help deliver while she was in your care. CNA Felicia you rock, ( I know my mom would lay on the call button at times) Each Felicia came in to my room she always had a pleasant smile and was very detailed and tenative to my mom needs. My mom would give me a hard time when I tried to clean under her nails, and I eventually would give up. During one of my visits, I was going to try another attempt to clean them, but they were already clean. I asked my mom who cleaned your nails? and she told me Felicia. CNA Tracey was good with my mom also. Even Regina in maintance went the extra mile to help my mom. Wound Care Team was excellent, Vince you rock. Physcial Therapy special thank you to Floyd, thank you for giving my mom that extra push, when she didnt want to participate in therapy. Richard thank you for being so patient with my mom. Thanks Melanie for being patient with my mom. Thanks Angela for your work as well. All of the people I mentioned above are defintley Health Care Professionals. Facility was very clean.

Just wanted everyone to know how pleased I was with my good girlfriend care while she was at your facility. We have been friend since grammar school, and she always calls when she not sure what to do with important matter. I live out of state and she asked me to come a visit her while she was there and to check out the place. Well when I got there, I really wanted to spend some time with her. We asked the nurse if there was any way I could stay over the night, they checked and the next thing we knew housekeeping was bring in an overnight sleeper chair. I notice the nurses making rounds; CNA’s coming into the room for bed change. When we hit the call button it took a few minutes, but they came in and apology then explained the delay. Her room was large and she had an air mattress. To my surprise when the staff enter her room they call her by name and always asked if it was ok to do any procedure. So with that being said I was happly with her care and the enivorment.

The facility was very clean and the staff outstanding and extremely attentive. The staff was very knowledgeable and highly experience and made me feel very relax and comfortable in ensuring me of the treatment my friend will be receiving. I visited the facility when a close friend was recovering from surgery and the staff was there for all of their needs. The facility provided alot of options regarding the number of visitors and space where we can come and supply support for my friend. The majority of the staff all knew my friend by name and really added that extra needed support to help with the recovery process. I found the facility to be a top rated high quality facility for all kinds of recovery patients.

My sister is a handicap . she cant talk she cant move so I was staying in this facility with her because she cant express her self but I know when something is wrong. I never felt so helpless to see my sister get so sick . I let staff know when my sister was sick and they ask me if I was sure . We waited for Tylenol 2 1/2 hours to be approve for a fever my list goes on and on about staff and serves.This facility is short staff ,old equipment and the equipment they had was full of rust , bathroom sick and tub licking water , rooms are very dirty and the building deteriorating not mention the elevator that didnt work that was the beginning of are nightmares.

I came in an tour this place before deciding to bring my sister here. Well she go there really late I think and I really was surprise with her room. I hate complaining but I felt someone needed to know my feeling. I spoke with the nurse manager and other department the next day. I was totally amaze at their rapid response to our concerns and they were so concern and apologetic. That was really caring and nice of them, things have been so much better. They really listen!!!!!!!! They didnt just sweep it under the rug as if were complainer. We are extremely happy with her overall care and she is getting better thanks Kindred.

On behalf of my uncle that stayed at this facility, the staff was exceptionally pleasant and vigilant when it came to responding to the patients needs and explaining what they were doing in the process of cleaning them and changing their beds. From me to the staff at this facility, I have noticed the care that you all provide and your kindness is greatly appreciated. There are only a few people that have hearts as great as yours and Kindred Chicago Lakeshore staffs some of them. Thank you for caring and thank you for a job that you all take so close to heart. Keep doing what you all do best, Care!!

My experience with Kindred Lakeshore has been very warm and welcoming. I have been nothing but completely satisfied with the care that has been given to my brother. He has had the opportunity to reside in this location on several occasions. The staff there are very attentive, and the environment is clean. My personal interaction with staff has been very welcoming with the assurance that he will receive the best care they have to offer. With that being said, I must say I am completely satisfied.. Great place for healing. When I first got there I was hard to deal with due to my health condition, dealing with my own angry. After meeting the staff and getting to know them I really found they were nice. I was having a lot of pain and wanted medication when wanted it. After long conversion with the doctors they explained what pain meds can do positive and negative. If I had to have another stay at a hospital it would be Kindred Lakeshore:)

My granddad was there he has been ill for sometime. He had his own private room with a nice view of the lake. We were even able to stay over if that,s something we wanted to do. He was there recently but i remember i promise to tell of the experience and it has taken a while but better late than never. Your staff knew what they were doing and the doctor explained his condition and recovery process. These kind of places are much needed.
