I have bringing my pets to Dr. Graham for 30 years. He has seen the full lives and been there for the end of all of them. Kim, a GEM with a huge heart. But, recently I have noticed that Dr. Graham has sadly become jaded. We found a way through Dr. Fosters and Smith to get my dogs heart and lung medication for LESS than HALF the price Dr. Graham was charging. These meds have been giving him quality of life and he is almost like a puppy, even though he has advanced Congestive Heart Failure and Emphyzema. When we had Dr. Fosters and Smith online pharmacy fax a form over to Dr. G, TWICE, he did not respond, thus letting enough time elapse that we were forced once again to drop 120.00 bucks at Dr. G;s for this months meds, when we could have paid $49.00 for the SAME meds and dosage. Dr. G did not contact us to let us know that he simply wont write a prescription for ANY online pharmacy. I QUOTE Dr. G "Yeah, people are having to get rid of their animals because they cant afford the meds anymore." I ask you, WHY would any vet who truly cares about the animals he is servicing say this to me KNOWING I cant afford 120.00 a month anymore for his meds? He did not even offer me a cheaper option, only that HE will not go through ANY internet pharmacy. The one option he did offer was Walgreens for a couple of his meds that are human drugs, saving me nothing or maybe 2 bucks. But the most expensive medication over 50.00 a month through Dr. G I could have gotten for 20.00 online! I quote Dr. G again "the day that I am required by law to write prescriptions to any internet pharmacy, I will quit my practice." I ask you again, WHY would a vet say this? Isnt the ultimate goal to get them what they need? If a family needs a cheaper option, would he not want to help with that? I have loved this Vet for all these years, but it is clear, especially after today, when my father went to get a refill of my dogs meds..when Dr. Graham DENIED a refill until we brought Rocky in for an appt. Dad explained that Rocky only had two days left of meds and asked if he could provide only a few days of refill to get us through until we brought him in. Dr. Graham DENIED that request which would have left Rocky, my 13 year old with heart and lung problems WITHOUT MEDS for three days! His lovely wife did it ANYWAY because she knew it was wrong what he had done. And the other part is... my Dad has been friends with Dr. G since high school! He did not even step out to explain himself. He made his wife do it, and she was almost in TEARS when she did. All I am saying is that something has gone sour with him and I am SO sad. This may not be your experience, but just be informed. I quote him one last time "you would be hard pressed to find ANY Vet in this area that will write you a prescription for Dr. Fosters and Smith or any online pharmacy." FIRST VET I CALLED : Animal clinic Park Glen, said "Of course we do, we know how hard it is and we use Dr. Fosters and Smith online pharmacy all the time to make things easier on our clients financially." That was an eye opener. Im not writing to spread ill. Im writing this for those who deeply care for their pets to INFORM. Come to your own conclusions of course.

When the oldest member of our beloved pet family became very ill we took her to Rufe Snow Animal Clinic. A thorough exam revealed our worst fears...she was not going to make it. She was suffering and her heart was in really bad shape. At the age of 14 and with a bad heart, surgery was not an option. We appreciated their candor and the fact that they did not try to string us along with a fortune in unnecessary procedures given that she absolutely would not make it. Dr. Graham and his staff went beyond their scope of duty with their level of sweetness and assurances. Dr. Graham treated her so tenderly and spoke to her as if she were his very own loved one. The kindness that Boo was treated with helped us so much as she drifted off to her final sleep in our arms. We even received a sympathy card a few days later with a handwritten note and actual signatures, not some prefab form letter card. We will never forget their compassion and Dr. Graham will be our vet for life.

VERY POOR. I am not happy with this clinic AT ALL. And i will be contacting channel 4, 5, 8, 11 and who ever else i can to report this. My husband took our 3 year old yorkie, who has history of seziures, to this clinic on monday August 8, 2011. Our yorkie was vomitting PURE blood and blood was running out of his anus. This was the cloest clinic we could get him to get HELP.. The vets DENIED him care. The lady at the front desk said, " Im sorry he was not scheduled and there is NO openings." They KNEW he was vommitting blood, and blood from the anus, as my husbands shirt was COVERED in blood. Leaving angerly, we took him to another clinic. By this time, he was to bad off. There WAS NO SAVING HIM.. Our baby yorkies, PASSED AWAY THAT NIGHT. due to an inconcert vet who wouldnt take time to see a DIEING DOG. I hope you lose your lincess, and are NEVER able to practice AGAIN.. NEVER TAKE YOUR DOG TO THIS CLINIC, UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO END UP DEAD LIKE MINE DID.

I have been using Dr. Graham for 8 years. Love him. No, he doesnt sugar coat and is straight to the point but thats what I like. He also doesnt push for unnecessary procedures or nickle and dime you to death. Im sorry for the loss of the lady that needed to get her dog in but this is why it is so very important to have a regular vet instead of waiting for an emergency to happen and just picking the closest one around. Dr. Graham and one of his staff stayed after hours on a Saturday to do an emergency surgery on one of my cats in the past. She would have died without it. Rufe Snow Animal Clinic is very respectful to their clients and is why he doesnt squeeze in appointments at the last minute. There is nothing worse than having an appointment and getting there on time just to wait an hour to see the Dr. like so many other Vets do. Dr. Graham will never do this. I trust him wholeheartedly!

Dr. Graham is a highly skilled and compassionate doctor who absolutely cares for the life and health of your animal. However, as Ive seen another review bash this clinic, let me clear that up. Dr. Graham is NOT an EMERGENCY VET! This is NOT an emergency clinic. They work by appointments ONLY so that they have enough time for each patient. If your animal is severely vomiting blood and bleeding from the anus and whatever else is going on, they most certainly would NOT see you. They would refer you to an emergency clinic. Why? Because this clinic isnt equipped to handle emergencies like that. They have regular office hours NOT after or in between hours. The loss of any pet is tragic but it is not this clinics fault. If I am hemorrhaging from any orifice, I go to the ER not my regular doc.
