Our family has been using Southlake Crossing Animal Clinic, Dr. Mark Cox, since 1992 for the care of our pets. The staff has been the best at being personal, professional, and caring veterinarian. About a year ago it was determined that our 12 ½ year old Golden Retriever/Mix, Annie, had an enlarge heart and was going through heart failure. After discussions with Dr. Erik Esser we worked with medicine to keep her comfortable and provide a quality life. Because of the anxiety from office visits Dr. Erik Esser and a vet tech would make checks on Annie at our home. The inevitable came June 24th while we were on vacation. Our pet setter text us that Annie’s time was here. After confirming our desires with Kelly McNeill, Practice Manager, Dr. Erik Esser went to our home to put her to sleep. This occurred on a Saturday but both Kelly and Erik were there for Annie. Dr. Erik Esser is sincere and compassionate with his care of animals. We highly recommend the Southlake Crossing Animal Clinic for your pet for a personal, professional, and caring veterinarian experience.

Ive lived in Southlake for 16 years and have taken all my beloved pets to them since moving here. From the very first visit years ago to the one last week, I have always received prompt, courteous, professional treatment. My dogs have been accurately diagnosed and treated, even referred to specialists when necessary. Ive never felt like my animals have been subjected to unnecessary tests, shots, or medicine. However, they are always treated so they will feel their best. Most importantly to me, when it came time to say goodbye to them, the people at Southlake Crossings demonstrated deep caring and empathy. I feel like my pets are with extended family when they are with the staff at Southlake Crossing Animal Clinic.

They have taken care of our dogs since we moved to Southlake in 2005. The care has been excellent and their attention and consideration when we had to put our lab casey down was greatly appreciated and welcomed. We could not have ask for better treatment for both Casey and us during that most tramatic time. My one concern is that when we lost her in mid March, a request for a paw print was make and the clinic agreed to provide one. I have stopped there several times since that date and have been told each time that they were backloged on these type of requests and would call when it was completed. It is now mid August and nothing from them yet. I would appreciate at least an update or the print.

Compassionate, caring, courteous, helpful. My first encounter with Dr. Cox was about 1991 when he treated a stray cat that had recently had kittens behind our office in Keller. Since that time Southlake Crossing Animal Clinic has grown and is my veterinary clinic of choice for both my cats and dogs, although we only have one dog right now. I have never called their clinic when the person who answered the phone was too busy. Everyone is upbeat, friendly, interested and knowledgeable. Their care for my pets has been outstanding. I highly recommend Southlake Crossing for all veterinary needs.

This was a wonderful, safe place to bring my adult cats in to be declawed. I stressed over this procedure and only did this because it wasnt possible to keep them from the furniture. The personnel at Southlake Crossing were kind, informative and understanding of my stress level. They said healing time was improved because they use laser. My little babies did fine and were healed quickly and back to normal in a very short time, even eating and drinking which cats stop doing when they arent feeling well! I highly recommend Southlake Crossing and will definitely make them my vet of choice.

I was very impressed with Southlake Crossing. I had agreed to foster a puppy from the shelter who was going to be put down because he had parvo. My neighbors rescue group took him into their program and we brought him to Southlake Crossing for help with the Parvo. The rescue group has a lot of animals to help on a limited budget, and Southlake Crossing provided great treatment at a very reasonable price. Their staff was wonderful, and the puppy had a full recovery after a few days and is now in a permanent, loving home. I will definetly use them again.

We have used the Veterinary staff at Southlake Crossing for all 5 of the dogs we have had. Care has encompassed the life cycles of our pets from new puppies, on through the years to end of life with any necessary adjustments made along the way according to the individual needs of each pup. The staff is caring, compassionate, and patient to take time to answer questions and provide explanation of care. They have always treated us like "family". I have, and will continue to recommend Southlake Crossing to anyone looking for quality veterinary care.

I love this clinic. Every time we take our dog there the staff always makes sure to answer all of our questions and concerns. After one instance when my dog got sick, our vet called a couple of days later to make sure that he was doing better, who does that? No matter which vet you talk to they all explain everything with patience and make sure you understand everything. The doctors and the supporting staff are all wonderful. Really recommend this clinic for any pet parents. I promise you, they all care about your pet as much as you do.

Ive been going to Southlake Crossing for almost 8 yrs now. Dr. V is my regular vet and Samantha loves him. He has a kind and gentle nature, very calm and reassuring with my dog. Hes cut her tail off twice over this time and she still likes him :) The staff is great also. If she just needs some blood work or nails trimmed they just take her for a few minutes from the front desk and were out of there in less than 10 min usually. I cant imagine going anywhere else. Sorta like home for us now.

We have used this Clinic since we moved here in 1992. They have taken care of all of our dogs and cats over the years. The reason that we like them so much is that they do talk "straight" to us about our pets health problems. They do not sugar coat the situations and do not reccommend treatments that are not necessary. All of the staff are professional and very courteous. We highly recommend this clinic for your pet needs. Vern and Lynn Montgomery

BellaLynn was brought in 3 yrs ago when she was only weeks old. She had been attacked in a way where there were 2 gouges on her neck. Between Southlake Crossing, and a lady names Bandit, BellaLynn made a beautiful recovery. I adopted this lucky lil kitty, and NOT ONE day goes by that Im just blown away from the love and concern people have on animals that they dont even know yet. I will always be very thankful of you guys. Thank you so very much.

Have taken good care of my sweet girl and our puppy. Couldnt afford the first visit to which they said they offered a free first visit if I filled out a form they emailed me. It was free! Loved them so too my girl in when she had a busted cyst on her bottom lip/jaw. Took her in and they did some tests and got benign results and told me where to go from there. Shots were quite expensive for my puppy but I believe that would be true anywhere.
