We have been clients of Golden Triangle Animal Hospital for almost 20 years! Our experience with them has always been GREAT! The doctors and all of the staff members are experienced and knowledgeable. If you want the best to take care of your special family members this is the place to go! Everyone is kind, compassionate and always willing to help! We would never consider trusting our babies to anyone else! We give them 5 stars!!!! 8/6/14 I am updating my review from over a year ago. One of my little guys tore his ACL last week and underwent surgery this week. Dr. Ruffner & his team took such great care of my little one! They kept me updated on the surgery and when complete called me right away. Spent the night and came home the next day and now on the road to recovery. I encourage anyone in Southlake or NE Tarrant County to take their pets to Golden Triangle. You will be happy you did! :-_

I have been a client of Golden Triangle Animal Hospital since 1993. During this time, Drs Steve and Laura Ruffner plus their dedicated staff have provided exemplary care for my animals. Some of my pets have had very unusual medical challenges and the Ruffners never, ever give up on trying to find the underlying cause of the problem. I consider myself extremely lucky to have such devoted Drs in our back door providing outstanding care for my animals. Dr Steve or Laura Ruffner or any of their staff is always available to assist in anyway and I can always count on my animals getting the best possible care. It is truly a pleasure to be a client at Golden Triangle Animal Hospital and know my animals are in loving hands. They definitely deserve the ABCD Award....Above and Beyond the Call of Duty.....this perfectly describes Golden Triangle Animal Hospital!

What a fantastic place. Honestly. Dr. Ruffner and Snookie truly are professionals who have a passion for what they do, and how they do it. You can clearly tell they know what they are doing, and are massively competent at what they do. My little new yorkie needed to be spayed. After losing one to a dental cleaning with a careless vet elsewhere...not here... they knew my concerns, apprehension, and fears. My new little yorkie was so well taken care of, did so well after the surgery, and the scar you cannot see. My dad is a surgeon, and said the stitches and incision were really well done. I cannot tell you how thankful I am that (and I am a doctor too) to find a professional office and doctor who actually care about the people, patients, and little wonderful pets :) Dr Ruffner and staff deserve all the praise I am giving them. They were phenomenal. :):))

Weve taken Oreo, our cat, here for about 10 years. He is totally blind now, which creates some increased challenges with his care. This weekend, he fell in the pool (he was outside alone) and luckily was rescued in time. It was traumatic for all of us. I was surprised to find that Golden Triangle was open on Saturday. I didnt know that! I called them in a panic and they were there and worked Oreo in urgently. His temp was 10 degrees below normal, he was vomiting, dizzy, unable to stand up, etc. They were compassionate and efficient in their care of him. He stayed the day; they were able to warm him up, and when I picked him up, he was angry and feisty. That was a good thing! Thank you Golden Triangle.

Dr. Steve & Dr. Laura Ruffner’s veterinary and surgical service is the very best and of the highest quality. They’ve always been accurate with their diagnosis and very upfront with their options for treatments in very unique situations we’ve experienced through the years. The doctors, along with their compassionate staff, treat “us” as family. Follow up calls from the doctors after treatments always reassures us of their genuine care. The Dr. Ruffners love of all animals is most apparent. We would never take our four legged love ones to anyone else.

I love Dr. Ruffner and his team at Golden Triangle Animal hospital. My family and I have used their services for over ten years. There is no one else that I trust as much as this staff. My "child" hates going to the vet, and always puts up a major fight. He is a code red. The staff always do the best they can to take care of him, and I know that the job can be frustrating. Even though he is a problem child, they do their jobs with a smile, and that makes it easier on me. They are warm hearted when it comes to making hard decisions for your pet. You know you are in the right hands when you entrust your animal to them. Thank you Golden Triangle for making not so easy times EASY!

Golden Triangle Hospital is where I take my Chihuahua "Boo" for any exams, health issues, food, and fiber biscuts. (and even to take pictures with Santa at CHRISTmas time!!!!) We have been going to Golden Triangle Hospital for almost 10 years. The service that we get there is the BEST!! The sincerity and knowledge of the entire staff is what keeps us going back. We have always been impressed with the QUALITY of the service that is provided there. We TRUST Dr. Rufner and his entire staff. We highly recommend Golden Triangle Hospital for any service you would need for your pet.

I am a 15 year customer and wont go anywhere else. Over the years, Golden Triangle has cared for all of our many pets. They have handled everything from routine check ups to bone cancer and rare diseases with the upmost of professionalism and care. Their medical knowledge is the best and they take the time to explain everything in detail. Their compassion when it comes to end of life decisions is heartfelt and real. This is where I board my pets too. Whenever Ive gone somewhere else for boarding, they have gotten sick. Never at Golden Triangle. Great people too.

Beware if you are a patron at any of the businesses surrounding Golden Triangle Animal Hospital. If you park in their parking lot, even after their clinic closes at 5:30, your vehicle may get towed. This is because Edds Towing monitors the lot. A few of our friends found out the hard way last Friday night. While I agree that Golden Triangle has a right to police its own lot, I feel this is a heavy handed tactic by Edds and could have been dealt with in a more diplomatic way.

We have used Golden Triangle for years now and dont have the words to express how much we appreciate them. Dr. Ruffner and his staff always provide great counsel and genuinely care about us and our dogs. The facility is very nice and always clean. Everyone that works there is both professional and friendly. As long as we have a pet, Golden Triangle will be where we take them for any health issues or wellness visits.

The staff is friendly, professional, and efficient. They clearly love all animals and have great affection for each client. My dog became comfortable with going to the vet after another vet clinic consistently scared the bathroom out of my dog as a puppy into adulthood. Glad there was a suggestion of this Animal Hospital. Fully capable staff and we are appreciative to have their services.
