its been about a year and a half since I came to this clinic and havent gotten around to write a review until now. Im still extremely upset with what my baby had to go through at this so called clinic. I originally went to my reg. vet but their X-ray machine was down so I had to bring him here. I thought I trusted the vet and I was desperate to get my baby feeling better He stopped eating and it had me very worried. on or first visit he was prescribed antibiotics something to induce his hunger to make him want to eat and some other rx to keep him from throwing up (Note: He wasnt throwing up his food, he just wasnt eating, not sure why this was prescribed.) They also did an X-ray to make sure he didnt eat something he shouldnt have but everything came out clear he found nothing. Then he was kept over night they gave him mineral oil to check and make sure that it was pass through and it did. Next he suggested an exploratory surgery just to take a look inside him which I went ahead with still they found nothing except they said he had an enlarged gallbladder which could have possibly cause him to not want to eat but it wasnt certain This surgery needed to be done ASAP because my dog was getting really thin and I couldnt hold off on it any longer but Dr Bob had a vacation planed so he had to transport my dog to another vet to have this done then transported back after the other vet called to inform me of how the surgery went (Note: once my dog was done with surgery and transported back Dr. Bob would still be on vacation so there was only vet techs there very upsetting to me). After surgery they gave him more prescriptions that may possibly help his gallbladder I took him home it didnt help. He still wouldnt eat, so they told me to take him back in again and leave him so I did even though Dr. Bob still wouldnt be in the office, once again I was desperate and would do anything they said to help my dog. They medicated him more then hooked him up to Fluids I left him there for a couple of days and each day I would go visit him after work, he looked so miserable day one they had him on fluids the Tech told me they would keep him on fluids I though she knew what she was doing next day he was swelling up because I they left fluids hooked up to him over night unattended!! He was over filled with fluids and was swollen all over his face his legs and and pockets of fluid through his body I was very angry that this happen and asked them to stop the fluids(Note: To much fluid can kill your dog for those who dont know there lungs can become filled over time and its basically like drowning him). Dr, Bob came back later that day and tried to explain that it was normal but I can assure you that its not but he wasnt there to watch over him so i guess he had to come up with something to make it seem better it didnt work on me. The next day I wasnt going to leave him any longer I took him home with me. At this point my dog has done almost 2 months without eating and was extremely thin he was probably just hanging in there for me I love him so much. I knew it would be selfish of me to not let him go I tried everything I could I had him sleep with me at home then the next day I had someone come to my home to have him put down in my arms, I couldnt think of ever taking him into any other vet office again. May he Rest In Peace I will Never as long as I live ever be back in this clinic. I will attach photo of my dog after he had fluids as well this is unacceptable. I pray no one has to go through what I had to go through.

If I could rate this hospital zero stars I would. I went in on the beginning of April with my dog who had dug his way out or our backyard and our neighbors dog got a hold of him. Well needless to say I took him in immediately! I go in and ask if they could see us and was glad that they could well the tech goes in and immediately says" hes been like this A week?" I correct her and said it just happened lot even an hour before(which I told the receptionist) when the doctor goes in she gives me such a rude attitude acting like I wasnt understanding what she was saying and got even more rude when I asked when would she want to repair his wound. He was in shock and I knew he needed to recover from that before surgery but I wanted to know what as the plan after he recovered and she very snobby like tells me "she wont survive surgery like this..the wounds are not your problem. Her being in shock is. Her organs can shut down and she will die if we do surgery. I dont care about the wound thats the least of your concerns." First of all i.wasnt implying doing.it in that very moment I asked how long he could stay that way and when she thought the best time it was to close it after he recovered from the initial shock second.after seeing my dog she called him a she OVER AND OVER even after I corrected her and said he. Eventually we ended up going to a different hospital and even after checking out as we were leaving she called him a she. Shes a rude and an incompetent doctor and I will never be wasting my money at this hospital again. Thankfully my dog is happy and healthy at 15 years old and just got his sutures removed all thanks to metro west animal hospital.

I brought in a two week old puppy that was having trouble breathing early in the morning no other customers were there yet I still had to wait for the Vet to stop chatting to check on us. After the assessment I asked if I could have a tube feeder for my pup because she is too weak to suckle. He said he didnt recommend tube feeding. When I went to go pay for the visit the Tech tells me that if I bottle feed and she aspirates shell die instantly so again I asked for a tube feeder so I could feed my pup and he refused. He didnt give me any suggestion how to help my pup breath better and he lied and said he was out of tube feeders. When I called another vet to see if they had one I could have they phoned Dr Rizon and he again prevented me from getting one from another location. Horrible service the Tech rolled her eyes when I asked her to help me give her the first dose of antibiotic. Rude and unprofessional and I hate liars who say things just to get you out of their clinic. Also they took my husbands credit card over the phone via text message without checking my ID so that tells me that all they care about is money. Only one older lady there was very nice and brought my puppy something to keep her warm.
