They never answer the phone. I went there in person to see what was up and it was a ghost town... no customers and 2 people on the clock. I asked why the phone doesnt get answered and the reply was a shrug and, "yeah the phone is in and out and busy". Huh? I literally called 10 mins before showing up and they didnt answer. Again, not busy at all. Then, i asked if they could see my dog and the response was, "were very limited on what we can do, you need to go to a civilian vet". So, i left; never to return. My guess is they are very lazy and probably spend most of the day cruising facebook and online shopping. When youre doing that, how do you have time to deal with annoying customers and their phone calls? Another sad govt ran facility where the employees collect tax dollars and do no work.

I looked into the Fort Meade vet clinic to see if they spay/neuter animals (since the Banfield Pet Hospital is absolutely ridiculous at $250 plus a $50 visit fee). I looked online and it said they were closed by 4:00pm, but it was 4:15 so I decided to give it a shot and see if someone would answer the phone. A man still answered the phone (very rare as most businesses refuse to go above and beyond their normal hours and duties), and he answered all my questions and more. He told me the spaying/neutering is currently on hold, but he gave me a clinics name that many customers are going to in the meantime that offers a very nice price, which is called "Spay Now Animal Surgery Clinic - Laurel". The customer service was everything I expected and more!!

After having a bad experience with my local Veterinarian, I decided to only come here. Appointments are hard to come by. It is after-all a Military facility. But once you are in you get the best service at a price you can afford.They know my dogs by name without looking at the charts. I had my Pugs neuter surgery done there and even it was a weekend the Dr. called and checked on him. At an office visit they take time to explain everything to you and answering your questions. I come here not because I save money but because I believe they provide the best service for my dogs and genuinely love animals.

We had been with Severn Square Veterinarians but they seemed to totally disregard things that I knew should be worrisome and then they would strongly stress other things that werent that big a deal and they were charging 500% of the cost of medicine, so we finally decided to try someone else. We saw Dr. McCarthy at Fort Meade Veterinarians. She answered all my questions and it was nice to go to a vet where I didnt know more about my dogs breed and issues than they did. Paperwork seemed to take a long time and my appointment took over an hour (new puppy visit) but otherwise it all went great!

Customer service could most certainly be improved, but overall the prices are very low. They also gave us a low-cost list of local places that spay and neuter dogs/cats. Thanks to that paper, it only cost us $100 to spay our dog. They are very very pushy about selling frontline, especially when I state that we do not need it becasue our dog never goes outside (She is a very tiny dog that hates being outside and is inside litter box trained).

We moved here in 2013 and take Rosie for her annual exams. Sometimes the line is busy and I have to call back but its no big deal. She was also microchipped there and I purchase Heart guard and Advantix through them. Im leaving 5 stars because on two occasions theyve promptly emailed her shot records when requested. For health issues such as dental cleanings and sickness I take her to Rocky Gorge in Laurel.

Worst customer service ever. The whole staff was rude and the vet made disrespecful comments the whole visit. As a nurse, I treat all my patients with respect and dignity. This place doesnt do that at all. I am very annoyed military housing made it manditory I see this vet and I will insist they change that policy. I wouldnt even give this doctor one star. I will never go back.

The technician was skilled in getting blood for my 8 yr old Cockapoo, she also explained the procedure prior to the Vet coming in and had everything ready. The Vet was fantastic and answered all of our questions! She explained that they have limitations on their services but gave me suggestions on lowering the cost of the procedure elsewhere. Check them out!

Way better and half the price than PetSmart! Yes, customer service could be improved on (didnt acknowledge me after signing and waiting for 15 minutes and had my dogs mixed up with someone elses throughout the whole process.) The dogs left with a detailed exam and time was actually spent in addressing certain issues. Worth the wait.

Been trying for three months to get an appointment. The first few times was because my dog had a stye on her eye, then since has been trying to get both of my dogs in for their yearly annuals... No one ever answers the phone or calls back if a voice message has been left. Extremely irritating.

They provide services only upon appointments so you need to be familiar with other clinic for sick issue, though the service is good and affordable price. Good for annual check and vaccination.
