It has taken me 7 years to write this review. We had an 11 year old Himalayan who was brought, thoroughly examined, and given a clean bill of health. They did recommend a tooth cleaning. We agreed, Something went wrong. Our cat came home listless and wouldnt eat for several weeks. Took her to emergency vet who determined she had liver damage from an excessive dose of anesthetic. There was nothing to do except spend $5000 on surgery or put her down. I will stop here. I want to add that the cat was perfectly healthy when she was brought in for the teeth cleaning. I lost my best friend and it has taken a long time to get over it and write this review. I hope this will help other pet owners to decide whether to use this vet or not.

I take both of my kitties here. Dr. Ruderman is the nicest vet I have ever met and was so willing to talk with me about what my cat needed medically as well as financially. She gave me options and asked my permission before delivering any meds. She is fantastic and the single most reason I continue to go to this hospital. She is very knowledgeable and clearly adores her patients. Both of my cats love her.

Wonderful facility that cares about you and your pet. They are very thorough in helping with an aging pet and gives you options on treatments and goes above and beyond in caring for your pet. Ive been to three other vets in the past 10 years and this one far exceeds any of them!

Every dog Ive had over the past twenty years has been a patient at the Eldersburg Veterinary Hospital. The veterinarians and the staff couldnt be more accommodating or more caring.

Ive only met Dr. K and one tech (Pat)- they are fantastic! Very kind, very clear, and super accommodating. Its a long drive for us (30 min.) but well worth it.

I will not go back there since Dr. K was fired. The woman was a saint on earth for the animals. They are lying about her departure.
