Worst experience ever at a vet. Let me explain why -- I took my working line GSD in to talk about doing titers and to talk about options with heartwork/tick medication protocols. The visit started off OK, we chatted about the topics I wanted to discuss. She was sort of indifferent to what I was saying. Offered some feedback, which was what I was looking for, but ultimately said, "do whatever you want." OK? Thanks for the advice? Now to the part that resulted in my poor review. I have a male GSD who is part of a line of GSDs that are bred to be dominant. We chose this because were doing protection training with him and that behavior is what hes good at. Hes 1.5 years old, hes still learning, and hes still uncertain in situations where hes uncomfortable. Could I have done more to de-stress him? Yes and I will own up to that part. That was my mistake. Back to the vet - after entering the office, she approached him creepily, meaning she walked slowly and awkwardly toward him. He growled and showed his teeth. She said, "will he need muzzled?" I said I didnt know because we hadnt run into this last year at the vet. I muzzled him anyways, she proceeded to listen to his heart/lungs and he wouldnt stop growling. So she said to me - "Ive had about enough of this and I dont have to take it. You can find another vet." Walked out, got the shots to give him, and promptly told me how Im not welcome back because has that "look in his eye." Of course by now, Im angry and upset because this vet is rudely telling me to get out and dont come back. I would have expected to have a conversation about how we could make this relationship work (ideas from her would have been better than, get out of my office), things I could to do ease him and if all else fails, options she could take to make blood drawing easier (part of the heartworm protocol). But no, I got none of that and all of the disrespect. Needless to say, Im completely appalled at her behavior. Shes a VET. She will encounter animals whove been abused, neglected, etc. who have behavior problems. She will encounter other working line dogs who are at all different stages of training. I have no problem owning up to what I did wrong and what I could do next visit to make it better. But that convo didnt happen. If shes not into working with anything other than a lazy hamster, she needs to put that on her website. And in her bio. Because I was mislead into thinking I had found a great vet that could help me chose the best course of treatment for my dog. Buyer beware -- if you have an animal that even so much as "looks" at her wrong, youll be kicked out. Rudely. Unprofessionally. And worst of all, the staff thinks its funny. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Wife got a brother sister combo of kittens years ago, one got sick soon after we got them, not even a few weeks old. They thought it was rabies despite her not showing rabies symptoms and wanted to put her down to test. They tried scare tactics with us saying wed die and possibly our dog as well if we didnt put her down, and tried to prevent us from leaving. The visit cost us over $100. We took her to another Vet(clearview animal hospital) and they properly diagnosed her, and our visit cost about $40. Nearly 5 years later shes still alive and healthy. Never again will I go here and I advise anyone I know not to. They didnt even consider any other options. I cant even imagine the number of people whove listened to them over the years and put an animal down for no reason.

When my rott/lab mix, Kleatus, was ill they tried all they could to help him, but when his health came to the point of having to have him put to sleep, they were very compassionate & caring. I have also taken my cat, Ophelia, there. They were very good with her & even she liked being there. I will continue to take my pets here.

I take my dog to see Dr Brown for chiropractic adjustments monthly. Her care has kept Nico mobile and pain free for over 3 years now. She and her staff are very nice and always accomodating. I refer Brown Animal Hospital to all my pet owner friends!

Prices are outrageous. Dr. Brown is very "matter of fact" and does not seem very caring, especially towards my cats. The staff is very friendly, but will take my business someplace who cares about my pets and not just my wallet!

Took my boxer there for treatment and we had excellent service! The vet sat on the floor and left my dog give him kisses as he talked about what was wrong. Very down to earth and easy to talk to.
