Having used this hospital for a year for ONE problem with my dog I have to say I wouldnt send a rabid half dead raccoon there to be put down. I went in with the expectation of getting not only treatment for dental problems but a proactive approach to help stop whatever had caused the problem. I bought the $25 antibacterial water additive, I opened a credit card and maxed it out twice, ruined Christmas for my children two years in a row because not only did I need my vet savings but my Christmas savings to pay for the half assed service. Service where I was talked to like I was a moron because I obviously dont have the brain cells to proactively question my local pharmacist on their pet medications to at least have the option to find a better price. In the same day the same person who spoke to me like I was dumber than rocks forgot to have his pain prescription ready. This was my second bout of dental extractions and surgery in just under a year for my dog. Same pain meds. Guess what I take the same medications. It was ok for me to give him my human pain medication but wasnt allowed to get his antibiotic filled elsewhere because it wouldnt be right. Now two months after his last cleaning and extraction my dog has yet another infection and needs surgery again. On teeth I said needed pulled two months ago. I called the hospital and was told oh my gosh I will talk to the dr. I had to call them two days after the fact and got an oh yeah. Not only was the vet not consulted but I got the pathetic too bad so sad excuse of its my fault or my dog is just that way. Now I am starting over with a new vet who in the span of one phone call had a game plan a proactive approach and was beyond willing to work with me to help my dog. This is not some four legged thing I throw scraps to at night and not give a crap about. My dog is family he is like my child I give him the best I can with what I have. Do your pet a favor take the extra minute and find somewhere else to go. Somewhere your pet will be treated as a patient and not a means to squeeze out money. If I could rate this place a negative I would. They are crooks. Sadly its easier to find a good lawyer who help than a vet.

Took my Jack Russell Sophia there first time toward the end of last year. They diagnosed her with Cushing disease and have spent well over $2000 since (just receipts I could find) on test and meds since, however thats not the reason for the bad review. There are several. The first being the vet Dr. Tom as they call him is never available to answer guestions even if you are in building and he walks by. You must ask your questions thru the cashier which may or may not be answered while you are there. The second reason is I was told the medicines I had to buy for Sophias condition $180 a month could be purchased elsewhere to save money the vet tech quote was we are not here to make money off of meds. Then when I brought in four different places I could get the meds at and they refused to give me a prescription. But by far the most important reason I gave a bad rating on the vet was. Last week Sophia as throwing up could not move to well and wasnt eating this was during normal office hours. They said Dr. Tom was busy I will have to take My dog somewhere else which I did and a couple days later after I brought her home became paralyzed on her left side. I am 55 years old and have had dogs non stop since I was born. Thi is the review I have ever done on anything but I felt I had to tell people about this money driven careless vet. Well they got my money and my best friend ever is dead. Thanks for draining my bank account and treating Sophia and me like dirt!

Do not take your pet. You will spend more taking the pet elsewhere after they have been here. Took our cat (which we got when someone dropped her off at our campground - so we had no history on her) to get fixed. We told them she had never gone into heat. They shaved her and saw scars but they did not recognize the type of scars from the previous fixing so they cut her open again. Really?? They could not look it up on the internet how other vets might leave scars? When you see the scars - you dont cut again. Did the front person even tell the vet that she had not gone into heat? Then to top it off - they doped her up so badly that we were afraid she was dying. The only thing they said when we called is: it take different amounts of time for the anesthesia to wear off. After 36 hours of no food or water and not moving, we were afraid she was dying. We took her on an emergency basis to Furry Friends. They immediately put her on an IV for fluids and are keeping her overnight. They called us (and it was after hours) to let us know that she used the litter box but she is still doped up! This is more than 24 hours after surgery that she did not even need!!! Go somewhere else. You may spend a little more on the front end but you will save it on the back end. And your pet will be safer too!

Just had our dog there with a horrible ear infection. They are attributing it to allergies. They quoted us at $400. As part of that fee they insisted that she have a culture of the infection done so they would know which antibiotic to give her so we wouldnt waste money on a bunch of different antibiotics. We went in to pick her up today and the woman tried to sell us prescription food. I told her we would not be buying it and she got snippy and told me that she felt like I was cutting her off. She then gave us our new total. An additional $175. $125 over the quote. When I questioned her about it she said, "well the dog will get better so it is worth it." The reason the cost was so high is due to the antibiotics they sent her home with. The very antibiotics they said we shouldnt waste our money on without doing a very expensive culture. At this point the woman had the nerve to pull the prescription food out and try to sell us on it again. To add insult to injury our dog needs a recheck in 2 weeks for another $40. I thought companion was a rip off. At least they are honest about what it is going to cost. Shameful.

My experience with this clinic has proven to be that they are totally MONEY driven. Even after the loss of my dog to over immunization, I still blindly trusted their health care. Now that another issue has been raised over a prescribed medicine I have seen what I should have realized a long time ago. They have no emotional commitment to the care of my furry family members. They issued a medicine that had extreme side effects. It was dispensed with no warning from them of these possibilities. They were VERY reluctant to reimburse my payment for the drugs and offered no apology for the problem. They didnt even ask how my dog was doing. Their answer to the situation was, if I wanted to PAY for an examine they would see if they could do anything. My dog was seriously adversely affected by their drugs and medical advice but yet not a single caring pronouncement. JUST MONEY MONEY MONEY. If you love your little ones cat or dog, you will NOT choose this facility.
