We are new pet owners and so thankful to the caring staff of Dillsburg Veterinary Center who not only helped us find our kitten but who continues to help us learn how to take care of her! From the front desk staff to the veterinary technicians to Dr. Pryor, we have been so impressed by their willingness to go above-and-beyond for both our kitten and us. We saw a picture of a kitten on Facebook because a staff person at DVC found her in a barn. They were looking for a forever home for her. Our family never thought we would have a pet because we just didnt think we really wanted one...ok, my husband and I didnt but our girls certainly asked for a dog or cat often! But when I saw that photo of that kitten, my first thought was "Thats our kitten." I called DVS and asked lots of questions to the staff person who found the kitten and she took such an incredible amount of time and patience in answering each one! They wanted us to come in and meet the kitten and gave us all the time we needed (and then some!) to decided for sure that we wanted to bring that kitten into our family. We got typed out personalized instructions that showed us how much they new the kitten in just a few days...her likes and dislikes to date...along with some real practical advice for brand new pet owners. Three days later..."Uggs" was ours and weve been living happily-ever-after since! We had to bring her in to the office only once so far due to a little problem she was having and it was another great experience that left us feeling like Uggs and us are getting the best vet care!

I have worked as a technician in the veterinary field for over 20 years and have had the pleasure of working with some great veterinarians and some that were not so great in my opinion. Dr. Pryor would fall into the first category as he practices great medicine and cares about the health and welfare of the pets and their owners. In a prior review, a disgruntled person accuses the practice of "maximizing profits by selling unnecessary things". However, Dr. Pryor and his staff would be remiss in their duties if they did not offer the best in medical procedures, diagnostic testing, medications, or other items during each pet visit. These items are discussed as a means of educating owners on their availability and what the current recommendation may be and are not meant to "up-sell". All of the staff, including Dr. Pryors wife, are friendly and helpful. I have enjoyed working with everyone at Dillsburg Veterinary Center and feel as though they have become like a second family to me. I wouldnt hesitate to refer my family and friends to the practice, in fact, I already have.

Like many others that have posted their sentiments regarding Libre, I just want to follow-up and say how impressed I am with the care that Dr, Pryor and the entire staff give to their patients. To those young vets that are on staff and have the aspirations to eventually spread your wings and open your own clinic, remember this time. Remember what you learned and how YOU DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. We, as pet owners, are so darn passionate about our pets that we regard them as family. We trust in you to do what is right knowing all along that medicene is not an exact science and that the patient cant talk to you about where it hurts. Build your practice to be like Dr. Pryors. Surround yourself with a great staff. As the practice goes, not everything is going to be rosey. Just remember these days and the outpouring of love all of have for you. From all over this great land, we applaud all that you do! Daryl Wilber Dublin, Ohio

Dr. Pryor and his staff are without equal. I dont normally write reviews, but they changed my life. After taking my pittbull, Wiggles, to my old vet many times for severe back issues (that had finally culminated into her being paralyzed) they were recommending that I either put her down, or get a very very expensive surgery. A friend recommended Dr. Pryor, and Im so glad I did. He told me right away that he was going to have her walking again - no problem. He was right. After he upped her steroids and started her on laser therapy treatment she was up the next day, and walking well by the end of the treatment. Six months later shes still going strong and weve had 0 issues. If it wasnt for Dr. Pryor and his awesome staff Id either be out 6-8K, or without dog. I really cant say enough good things!

Awhile the doctor & staff were caring and nice. Prices were 2.5 times higher then my previous vet. And their prices were still 2x higher for services then at the other equally qualified caring vet & staff I ultimately decided on for my pet. A treatment estimate given in the Dillsburg office was even higher come checkout time. Because of that increase in price (that I paid), I decided to check out the cost of a recommended procedure elsewhere. The same procedure done by an equally qualified tech and read by a specialist was $220 dollars cheaper. So in order to be able to continue to provide for my pets care and also a second pet, I chose another equally qualified caring vet with more affordable pricing.

Our dog is part of our family, and we want our family to receive the best treatment possible by people who share those same sentiments. Dillsburg was not our primary vet, however when we had a critical care issue, our vet didnt see to it to fit us in, however Dillsburg did. That alone isnt why we switched. It was the staff and their attentiveness and care both during and after our visit. The prices for their services seemed on par with our prior vet, but its of a secondary concern when the primary is the well being of our dog. Within one visit, theyve earned our trust and were thankful for that.

I have had nothing but a positive experience with Dr. Pryor and the staff at Dillsburg Veterinary Center. A few years ago my dog ate something that made her very sick and needed emergency surgery. Dr. Pryor was so compassionate with my children who were extremely upset. We had to leave for vacation two days after the surgery and Dr. Pryor gave his home number to my parents who were caring for our dog while we were away. I would highly recommend Dillsburg Veterinary Center for any family that wants great and loving care for their pets.

My opinion - This guy tries to maximize profits by selling you things you dont need and then tries to make you feel bad if you dont bite. His wife treats their staff like crap. Her daddy is a lawyer so she probably gets info on how to do it and get away with it. I recommend timberview or even silver springs vet over this greedy clan... Their staff is top notch though. I feel sorry that they have to put up with the crap! I wont be going back.....

All I can say is you guys are heros!!! Theres not enough words that can say thank you for what you are doing for Libre. What you are doing is showing the compassion everyone should be giving to there animals and the punishment that should be giving to the ones who arent. In my words thank you and your staff for everything you are doing and you show me and ALOT of people you guys truly care and we will get justice for Libre!!!!!!!!!!!
