This was the worst experience ever! My appointment was at 2:20, the doctor didnt come and see me until after 3:20! I was asking her questions and she had no answers-was very disappointed and not impressed with the insurance person or receptionist. They tried to tell me that my insurance covered medical emergencies only-first was because they called insurance and they claim thats what they were told and then because my blue cross blue shields insurance card said medical id no. Shouldnt they know that means medical identification number?? And my insurance covers 80-90% so try again and I told them that and they laughed and argued with me about it, so i made them call back the insurance company because I know thats not true. They also tried to tell me my card wasnt normal and they dont usually look like that- it is the only design I have ever seen, my boyfriends card looks exactly the same and hes on his parents plan. The receptionist that was calling insurance back to reconfirm my coverage was arguing with the person on the other end of phone from insurance saying: "are you sure we called earlier and spoke with Karen and she said this client had medical emergency coverage only and we MUST collect from them." She said this about 6 times or so. She was then on hold with insurance and told me that they said I had a $380 deductible I had to meet and that it only covers the insured not dependants of the insured. It is a family plan that I am apart of so I again told her thats incorrect and our deductible is only $180 and thats already been met for this year. She then informed me it was a $300 deductible and that they will cover 90%- the coverage sounded right but the deductible amount was still wrong and she said I had a $15 co-pay, which is also incorrect. They have no idea what they are doing! Plus they dont care the inconvenience they are causing you-I had informed them that I was late for another appointment I had at 3:30 but they did not care, after waiting 15 minutes I asked if she could just call me or send me a bill I was now late and she said just one moment...35 minutes later is when I get told I have a $15 co-pay. At this point I was so late and it was close enough to the amount I would have to pay that I was done arguing with this lady. I asked if I could write a check and I get told cash or credit card only well I didnt have either so they took the check. I am keeping my receipt from this because I feel like this is going to cause a huge mess!! Would not recommend!

My first time at Dr. Svienteks office was a good one, however, when visiting for fertility reasons, there were a few red flags. First, I paid my co-pay with cash, they handed me a receipt, the next visit they claimed that I never paid that co-pay, and have no record of it. As it had been a month, I thought it was safe to throw the receipt away...there went $15 down the drain due to some office workers inability to do their job correctly. Secondly, I felt as though her answers to some pretty important fertility questions were extremely vague. She really didnt have any answers or input after several visits for blood tests, ultra sounds, etc. And lastly, I put a call in over a month ago regarding my last visit, a nurse said she would talk to Dr. Svientek regarding the issue, and call me back. Well, here I am a month later, still waiting for that call back. Its obviously time for me to move onto a Dr. who cares about their patients, and one whos office doesnt "lose" cash handed to them.

I liked Dr. Sventek from the first visit. She explained everything that was going on and made sure I knew why it was being performed. After my surgery she made sure I knew how it went and what to expect in the next few days. She talked to my friend to let her know as well since I was groggy. She is an excellent doctor and I would recommend her to everyone. I am glad I found her! Angie Builta

Dr. Svientek and her office staff were wonderful through my whole pregnancy! They answered all questions honestly and truthfully without judgement. Dr. Svientek was on call the weekend I went into labor and Instead of going home or back to the office, she stayed in the room and helped me push through all of labor. I have never had an OB as caring, helpful and attentive!

Excellent doctor in Bloomington/Normal. She is awesome and her office is super quick. Always the calls are picked up quickly. There is no wait time. Also, in office there is hardly 5 min wait time. And best of all Susan is best doctor one could have. She makes you so comfortable. Answers all the question patiently. Also, the nurses and staff are very helpful.
