I went to GCUD on 3/22/17 to get a broken molar fixed. Mr. Pelkey was the dentist who was working. First off they held their services hostage by saying that I missed an appointment and I owed a $25 fee. Not true, but paid it anyways. After taking my money- btw I am denying this charge. He comes 5 mins before closing stating that I had an "infection and it was in the nasal cavity section" blah blah blah more verbal diarrhea. He couldnt do anything for me. He prescriped antibiotics and Motrin. Gave an oral surgeon referral. I was at an 8 on my pain. I wont say the next dentist I was able to see the same night. Cause Im not trying to make a false review to take business to another dentist. But, after this dentist looked at my X-rays. I asked - why wouldnt Mr. Pelkey pull my tooth?? His exact words were "cause he is a pu@@y" and probably it was the end of the day for him. He also stated that there was no infection and it was against the law to prescribe antibiotics for no reason. Mr. pelkey you know who I am and you have my number on file. It would be in your best interest to call me and apologize for your misdeed. I gave you ALOT of business and money to your place over the years. NO MORE. You may want to take my suggestion and kindly call me before I call to report about the prescription you illegally wrote. People heed my words. Do not go to Pelkey! When you call and apologize I may remove this.

The first time I visited this office it was great and I felt super comfortable, I seen Dr. Pelkey I think thats how you spell his name he had great mannerisms and patient and answered anything I had a question about...I regret not getting my services from him that day! So today Sep 7 2016 I came in due to a cracked tooth and pain in another decaying tooth which was my main concern, For starters I was already apprehensive when the super young looking Dr. Came in the room! He was very short with me , he didnt seem to concern with what my concerns were! Like dude Im the patient HELLO! he would ask if I had any questions for him and when I asked he was very nonchalant in replying back to me. Im terrified of the dentist as it is I just felt he wasnt thorough enough and could care less about what my concerns were..Im now waiting on my ride because I definitely walked out and do not plan on returning which sucks because I liked Dr. Pelkey and wish he was here today instead of the other snobbish Dr.......Note: even if you dont care what the patient concerns are PRETEND you do! The receptionist and assistants are always pleasant.

Horrible! I show up in a ton of pain needing to have a tooth pulled. I am there at 7:45 am. and only 2 others are there. After waiting 30 min. I finally go back and then just sit there in the dentist chair for an hour and a half, after 30 min they come in to numb me up, not to do anything else mind you. So I sit there and wait over an hour. During this time 4 other people show up and leave, all while I am sitting there feeling the Novocaine wearing off. Finally the Dentist comes in, I am not numb any more so he starts sticking needles in my mouth. What he is doing causes pain and I let out a whimper, The Dentist proceeds to rip my but for not raising my hand.!!! WTF are you serious!! Needless to say I immediately got up expressed my dissatisfaction and left, now in more pain then when I showed up. Dont think I want a dentist doing a tooth extraction (a painful process) who is going to have a fit if I dont raise my hand fast enough when I experience pain. Would never recommend them and WILL NEVER GO BACK!!

I have always been apprehensive about going to the dentist mostly because I find a lot of dentist offices to be condescending or not very understanding of my general uneasiness about getting work done on my teeth. This is NOT the case with Ohio Urgent Dental Care. My wife has had nothing but good things to say about them so she finally talked me into going in. Janet was SUPER friendly and Dr. Pelkey was very thorough in his explanations. The front office staff were friendly and prompt in helping me. There were also no high pressure sales to get work done that may or may not have been necessary. Just go in, get the work done that I wanted to get done and get out. I couldnt have felt more at ease with my visit which will definitely encourage me to return much more frequently than I ever have in the past.

Dr. Huber is the best! I have a phobia of the dentist and thud is where I go. Dr. Huber and his staff take extra good care of me every single time whether its for a filling of a root canal. He gets it done super quick too, so he isnt drilling in your mouth forever. If you are apprehensive about going but need to go, go here!! They will take good care of you!! Also I have to mention Mary, shes Dr. Hubers assistant and she does an EXCELLENT job, we laugh the whole time Im in my appointment!!

I got the pleasure of working with great people here, specifically Kim who was one of the assistants here. She was very kind and very thorough during the appointment. I felt very comfortable during this vist and i am the person who avoids the dentists office at all costs. I am going back to have work done and i dont feel nervous. This facility has wonderful people working here with great customer service skills and compassion for people that are nervous.

I have been going to Ohio Urgent Dental Care for 6 years. I had bad teeth for years and was afraid to get anything done about them. They helped me and never looked down on me. They always have treated me great and the dentures I got from them look very natural. They are awesome. You dont have to wait 3 months for an appointment either, like other dentists I have tried to go to. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

The wait was almost two hours when the nurse asked me if I wanted the t.v. on. I asked how much longer and she said "I dont know, there is only 1 dentists today". Well can you give me an estimation? "I dont know". How many people before me? "I dont know". After seeing 3 people that came after me leave, I decide to leave to. I would suggest calling before arriving.

They do horrible crown work. The price was HIGH and the crowns look like fat pieces of popcorn in my mouth. I tried to talk with the staff after they were done and they all said it looked fine. They were round and smooth, didnt look like normal at all. It looked terrible and a few years later I had to have them done again by another dental office.

I went in because i was laying on the ground crying it hurt so much my fiance. Took me in i filled out the paper work ten mins later i was taken back within ten mins of that they checked what i needed numbed me up and pulled three feeling so much better now goong back for more work in three weeks
