This has been filed with the Ohio State Dental Board: I was a patient of Dr. John Kromhouts when he owned Karl Road Dental. At that time he explained how he could straighten my teeth with Invisalign. When I asked if Invisalign would work in straightening my teeth, he said that Invisalign would continue the process until my teeth were straight. So I paid Dr. Kromhout $3,000.00 and we started treatment. Before my treatment was finished Dr. Kromhout closed his practice at Karl Road Dental and started working with Verhoff Dental. We continued treatment with Invisalign and my teeth were still not straight. Dr. Kromhout then left Verhoff Dental without notifying me. I was still in treatment. When I was able to track him down, he explained that he wasnt able to treat me anymore because of his arrangement with Verhoff Dental. The Ohio State Dental Board doesnt see it that way. As the Dental Board explained to me, Dr. Kromhout is the one who took your $3,000.00. He is the one responsible for completing your treatment. Dr. Kromhout didnt take responsibility. He took my money. I paid $3,000 to Dr. Kromhout for a service he didnt complete. My teeth were never straighten with the Invisalign product and service Dr. Kromhout sold me. I thought Dr. Kromhout was a dentist I could trust.

Im an old guy whos been sitting in dentists chairs for 60+ years. Ive seen good and not-so-good dentistry. Cornerstone Dental is good. Very good. I finally needed dentures and I chose Cornerstone because theyre an AARP Delta Dental PPO provider and Dr. Kromhouts patient ratings were excellent. The ratings were spot on - Dr. Kromhout is very knowledgeable & skilled and he has great people working with him. I was treated like family. And I couldnt be happier with my dentures. Thank you Dr. Kromhout, Rachael, and Ashley!

My family and I switched dentists to Cornerstone Dental less than a year ago and are extremely happy. Dr. Kromhout is great. Unlike the other dentists weve tried he is very hands on, meaning you dont just see him for 3 minutes at the end of your visit. I take both of my young kids (5-9) there and they think he is cool and get excited to go there. The staff is the best. Ashley helped me to understand the costs and procedures and put me at ease when I needed a root canal.

Ive had my share of dental work over the years – and Ive worked in the medical field – and I have to say Cornerstone Dental is a GREAT practice. Dr. Kromhout, Alli and Tiffani all have worked on me, and all three are great at their jobs. They are kind, qualified and do a great job of explaining everything, step by step, as they do it. I highly recommend Cornerstone Dental. Its really a great environment, with even better people.

Ive never felt more comfortable at the dentist until I met Dr. Kromhout and his staff. Dr. Kromhout had me laughing in the chair the whole time and he made me feel like I was a friend more than a patient.
