I have a 7 year old daughter as well. They pulled her tooth when she was about 4 1/2-5 years of age by this place She has since been terrified and has anxiety towards dentists. Every visit she would kick, scream and bite. They refused help, as there are many ways to calm down a child to make it fun,etc they could of according to her new doctor taken different steps but they didnt. Every single time we come in and her anxiety kicks in, they come with this statement " if she keeps doing this, we will not take her as a patient anymore." How can a dentist say that when they havent even attempted to help solve the issue as most caring doctors do!?!! Then, theres also the fact that they do not know how to return phone calls when im trying to get my oldest whom is 8 scheduled for her 6 month check up and cleaning. Its very sad to see this place act so unprofessional. Your working with children and regardless of whatever degree you may have, you should be able to calm a child down, make them feel comfortable with you again,etc not bash them and refuse them as a patient. Never again will I ever step foot in this place! We switched to Worthington Pediatric Dentistry and because of their help, Haylie is 100% over here anxiety towards dentists. It takes compassion and support for children, to be able to work with them. I wouldnt reccomend this place to anyone!

These "professionals" behaved incredibly rude on the phone when I tried to reschedule. We had a death in the family and was out of town the few days prior to our appointment. With every intention of attending the appt, we arrived home in the early morning hours the day of. Unfortunately, every member of our household slept past our alarms and didnt wake in time. I called a few minutes before (as soon as I could) our appointment was scheduled to explain and reschedule. Both of the women I spoke to were exceedingly rude and coldhearted. They told me it was against their policy to reschedule our appointment. Ive never heard of such a thing. I was just beside myself in shock and anger. Im very happy to have received another recommendation from my dentist and I felt even better to have learned I wasnt alone or over-reacting to the situation. My dentist offices client directly before me also had such a negative experience with Delaware Pediatric Dentistry that they wanted another recommendation as well. In my opinion, this dental office is a sad joke and is offensive as a professional service to members of the community. Its a blessing in disguise that I didnt have the opportunity to subject my 4 year old to their uncaring nature. Its extremely troubling to imagine how that wouldve turned out. -Michaela Kinser

Thank you to Dr. Parulkar and everyone in your office for the wonderful experience my family has had there. My children were excited to go to the dentist every time and the services they received were top notch. I applaud Dr. Parulkar and the dental assistants abilities to work with our special needs son, making him feel comfortable and able to get his dental work completed. Youve even won over our two year old. You are a truly capable pediatric office. Were sad to leave due to our move and have hope for the continued success of your practice.

The dentist that we normally go to wasnt comfortable doing some work on my childs tooth, so he recommended going to Delaware Pediatric Dentistry. When I came in they put my child at ease right away. There is even a small kid size door so they can come into their office. The work was done professionally without any "extra" charges and everything was explained to me after the procedures were finished. Believe it or not my child wanted to go back there again since she had such a good time. I highly recommend them.

Being a dental care professional myself, I know that she is getting the best care possible! The entire team creates a wonderful experience for children. The office is beautiful, clean and fun! Everyone at the office is friendly and great with my daughter! They have so many cute little features that make going to the dentist fun for a kid! For example, they have video games in the waiting room, movies while they get their teeth cleaned, and prize machines for no cavities. My daughter is so excited to go get her teeth cleaned each time! She would probably prefer it over the zoo ;-)

My children love their dentist and this practice! As a mom, there is nothing more satisfying than to hear the excitement in my littles voices as we head to the dentist office-- from walking through the kid-size door, picking out a movie to watch as their teeth are cleaned, and getting settled into the chair-- for them, the experience is great! Excellent staff and very kind dentist :)

The staff is friendly, proficient and with patience help my children feel comfortable. They take time to answer my questions and ask my permission before doing x-rays, fluoride treatments and other dental practice standards. Between movies, prizes and a positive attitude toward dental health my children love going to the dentist!

I chose this office for my 3 year olds first visit based off of reviews I found online and Im SOOOO glad I chose to take her to their office. Everyone in the office was faunominal and made her feel so comfortable and have no fear of being at the dentist. They were great and well definitely be going back for future visits!!

We chose this office for my 3 year old sons first dental visit because of the great reviews. He had a wonderful experience! The staff were awesome, and the office is so kid friendly! The next morning he asked if he could go to the dentist again before daycare.

This dentistry needs a lot of help. You cannot get ahold of them, this is probably the easiest task of all. I had a good experience during my kids visit however I shouldnt have to start calling at 8am to finially speak with someone at 3pm. I will not be back.

Awesome for all kids, but especially kids with sensory issues, anxiety or fear of the dentist. The whole staff is great with kids and my sons are excited for all the surprises they get for doing a good job. Highly recommend!

Boys 9 and 12 enjoy the video games in the waiting room and movies on the ceiling while they sit in the chairs. Staff are friendly and thorough. When one of my sons had an extraction the doctor was very gentle.
