Most people who know me know that Im not big on reviews. However, I must share an incredible experience I had recently with a dentist. Dr. Justin Dugas and his team at Dugas dental were absolutely amazing. I shattered a number of teeth in a training injury overseas while in Paris, France and my travel schedule was far from over. From there, I was holding seminars in the UK, Costa Rica, California, Florida, and Ohio. While only having a short time in each location. My hopes were to line up a time in one of the locations to get my teeth fixed as I was in excruciating pain from the sensitivity. I met with a dentist while in France, but the work could not be done given the time I had remaining and I was not too comfortable with getting my teeth worked on in France. I met with a dentist in California and he told me I needed 4 teeth crowned so I left with hopes of having a better second opinion while I was in Florida. When I met with a dentist in Florida, I was told it would take 2 weeks and I only had a few days there and still didnt feel as comfortable. As I traveled to Ohio I told a close friend of my incident and from there was strongly recommended to Dr. Dugas. From the moment I stepped in this dentist office I knew there was something different. Both the office and the staff were very classy and patient friendly. The work was pretty serious, but as soon as Dr. Dugas did a consultation, I could tell I was in the hands of a master. His attention to detail and care was second to none. Even while I was being worked on he took great care of my needs, communicating his concerns and even offering solutions that the other dentist bypassed and even went above and beyond the damaged teeth. When all was said and done the discomfort was minimal and the end result was beyond fantastic. I left the office with only needing two crowns, and 3 of 4 teeth filled in mere 3 visits. My smile was better than before I had my injury and I left with great relief. I was even given a cool pair of sunglasses to help with the light in my eyes and my own personalized Pandora station with Bose headphones while I was being worked on. I am of Native American descent as well as a female minority from the middle to lower class income range and have always felt like I have been treated with the utmost respect and given the highest level of care at Dugas Dental. I have recommended numerous friends and family members to the practice. It is easy to see that their office has many 5 star reviews and that truly speaks for itself. I have always had moderate anxiety about dental procedures. However, after meeting with Dr. Dugas for the first time those anxieties dissipated. He has a warm demeanor, which immediately put me at ease, and he has always been genuinely attentive when I want to discuss problem areas. For years I have had issues with a crown (placed by my old dentist who is now retired). In the past year I have had problems with food getting trapped causing the gum tissue around the tooth to become very swollen. I also didnt like the type of crown I had as it was lined with metal underneath making the tooth appear darker. Dr. Dugas evaluated the areas I was concerned with and the results are amazing! My crown fits perfectly, I no longer have issues with food getting trapped (as the new crown does not allow the gap that my old crown had), my gum tissue is healthier than ever, and I am no longer self conscious about the color of the crown because it blends beautifully with the rest of my teeth. This office not only has a great doctor, but also has an amazing team of staff members. I constantly refer more family and friends to this office because I know that they are going to receive top care at an affordable price. Your expectations are likely to be surpassed.

I have finally found my dentist for life. It is apparent from the moment you step in the door that this is what Dr. Dugas was intended to do with his life. He has designed his office to be extremely customer oriented...which is rare in this day and age!! From the time you are warmly greeted by Emily at the front desk to the time you wave goodby to her, the experience is all about you, the patient. I have never felt so valued in this kind of setting before!! I have had the pleasure of dealing with Emily on everything from insurance to a Sonicare toothbrush and she has been stellar at communicating with me!!! Now, where do I begin about Dr. Dugas...he is kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable in his field. I have never met anyone who wanted to be a dentist more than him...it seems to be in his blood...and what he was born to do! He is passionate about taking care of teeth!! He has really cool "toys" in the office to aid in telling about the care that is needed - he pops images up to show why something isnt working (old crown) and what a cavity looks like and where it is on the tooth. He has all the fancy gadgets to take your mind off the actual dentistry work such as headphones, Pandora radio (tuned to the station of your desire), ipads, etc., but the reason I know I have found my dentist for life are the very special people in this office that dont come around too often!! You will not be disappointed with this office!!!

I have recently moved to the Columbus area and needed to find a new dentist. I searched the web and chose Dugas Dental because of the information I found on the site and because it was close by. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and saw the beautiful office and was warmly welcomed by Emily. I needed a check up and cleaning and had a couple of issues with my teeth that needed to be addressed and I was nervous to trust these problems to a new dentist after seeing my pervious dentist for so many years. But from the moment I sat down in the exam chair I was put at ease and felt as though my comfort and care was of utmost importance. The technology was beyond impressive, and made it possible to relax with music of my choice and to see, on a big screen, the ex-rays and pictures that were taken so that every aspect of my care could be explained. The dental assistant, Emily, was so gentle and put me at ease with her sweet personality and friendly manner. Dr. Dugas was so nice and I had the feeling that he had put everything else aside and that my care at the moment was his only concern . My nervousness and apprehension vanished right away.He explained everything in detail and made sure I understood and didnt leave with any questions I might have had, unasked or unanswered. I left the office feeling great about having found Dr. Dugas and his wonderful staff. I know my dental health is in very good hands.

Best dentist & staff that my family and I have ever had! I had some rough experiences with previous dentists. So much so that I put off going to the dentist for routine visits for as long as 2 years. So I was nervous when we moved to the Lewis Center area about finding another dentist. After my first visit, I was so impressed with Dr. Dugas approach to his patients and dental care. I had some work to do having not taken the best care of my teeth & gums, but he and his staff made me feel at ease, and that I could improve. Within a year, my gums were very healthy, and Dr. Dugas had restored my faith in dentistry. Now I actually look forward to going. Who can say that about their dentist?!? And the staff and office are phenomenal. They always remember who we are, ask about my family and make us feel like we are part of the Dugas Dental family. There are never any billing mix-ups, and they are on top of what our insurance will cover. The office is extremely clean, and there are large TVs with Pandora playing in each room to make the experience more pleasant. I honestly cant say enough good things about Dugas Dental. Ive recommended it to all my friends, and many are now very happy customers. Do yourself a favor and give Dugas Dental a call. You will be happy you did.
