Nothing but positive things to say about the folks at this clinic! Not only do they treat all the animals in my and my parents families, but they do a great job as well. While I can appreciate that sometimes mistakes happen and things are mislabeled, I would not under any circumstances call anyone who works here a moron, as the displeased customer below me has. The folks here even took the time to collect urine from my dog when he was showing signs of a UTI and I couldnt personally seem to collect it! Theyve done nothing but good by me and mine, and I certainly recommend them to anyone I know in the area.

LOVE this vet clinic!! My lab had a major yeast infection on his chest and after numerous vet visits to a clinic just outside of town, $100s of dollars spent and my labs yeast was actually getting worse, I decided it was time to find another vet. The first visit to the St. Helens Vet Clinic, my lab was finally given a medication that worked!! This is a great clinic! They care alot about the animals and they are way cheaper than my former vet (who charges for EACH visit). This clinic does NOT charge for follow-up visits regarding the same issue!!! I highly reccomend them!!

This vet acts as if she doesnt like animal. In the couple times we have gone, she it seemed that was burden to care for the animals there. She was not friendly and quick to react too negatively to almost everything. The care she provides only reaffirmed this impression. We have used this vet twice think the first time might have just been a bad day but we were wrong. For what she charged us you would think that she actually did something. What ever you do dont take your dog here if you love them.

A friend of mine recommended Dr. Horton since I was new to the area. This by far is the best vet I have been to. She is very caring and loving towards my animals. They love her! All the vets I have been to in the past has never been so caring for a animal. My dog refused to go to the vet until I started taking her here. Its a low stress place and thats why I like it. Not a lot of people running around going crazy. The prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this doctor.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!! They refused to test my puppy for parvo after her playmate tested positive and put in quarantine.. They gave her shots (which not supposed to do when dog is sick) which kicked her illness into high gear. They mislabeled her pills, which made her sicker! And they refused to treat her for her illness. Now my puppy is in intensive care at Midway because of these morons.. Opening a law-suit against them for mal-practice and abuse.

Doc Horton is just the best vet period! Dont even think twice about having her care for the health of your fur babies. Our family will always be humbled by the extreme care she gave our pup and her sensibility when it came to tough choices we had to make. Doc Horton will always be our vet and we refer her to everyone. This will be the best decision you make regarding pet care. Now we live 45 minutes away but the Docs care is worth three times the drive.

I used to live in St. Helens and took my dogs and cats to Dr. Horton. After moving to Portland I tried several vets, but ended up coming back to St. Helens Veterinary Clinic. I trust Dr. Horton. Unlike a lot of the Portland vets, I know when Dr. Horton recommends a procedure it is because it is in the best interest of my animals. Dr. Horton has a lot of empathy for my pets and she has been right on target in her diagnosis and treatments.

Love the vet. Very understanding of my aggressive dog. My dog loves her very much! We went for a check up and they charged us for an examination . Even though the problem occurred after her last visit and we were told check ups were free. It doesnt really matter though. Anything for my pup it was only around $30 for an examination. Other than that and the wait time I would have given 5 stars. Ill still be going back.

I have been taking my pets to this vet regularly since 2000. I have used them both for annual check ups, routine visits and emergency visits. They have always been great with all four of our pets. We thank them so much for saving our precious kitty when she had been seen recently for poisoning. I feel their pricing has always been reasonable even when our pets have been there overnight.

I took my lab Rudy to the clinic and he ended up losing 18 pounds with a stomach problem. We changed his diet to rice and hamburger and three different pills.to my surprise and to the doctor he rebounded back. Just turned 12 last week and is acting like a puppy

The vet is nice enough, but the fees are criminal. I got charged twice as much as my old vet for a standard yearly exam with 2 vaccines. I had to triple check my receipt when they charged me over $90. I will not be returning.

Worst ever!!! Dont. Please for the love of animals dont take them here!! They almost did emergency surgery on a loved ones cat for absolutely NO REASON and tried to charge $3,000!
