The Front desk service; as a patient receiving services here for nearly 10 years has turned into a nightmare! Will be filing complaint with the medical board. Arrived at 1:20 for 1:30 appt @ 2:03 still had not been seen! Spoke to lady at front desk (Chelsea). She knew I had been sitting for over 50 minutes. I had to ask her if I was still on schedule to be seen because I was the only patient sitting in the waiting area. 4 other patients who arrived much later were immediately seen by the same dr. I had an appointment with before them. I asked for a copy of the transactions for the day. I discovered Chelsea had me as checking in at 1:45. I spoke with the front desk supervisor. She stated that the nurse was following the strict rule of: if you are 15 minutes late you must reschedule. The supervisor (Sally) apologized for "hurting my feelings". I was lead to believe there may be certain people they are just not interested in providing care for ( but is making it seem like a patient mix up). Please stay away from this practice if you are really needing care and dont have time for this drama. I do have significant documentations and recording to support the validity of these statements.

It is impossible to get a nurse to call me back. Theyre supposed to call back within 24 hours, but I never hear a thing, at least from Janice Alexanders nurse. The front desk staff kept repeating this rule, and I told them multiple times that its not being followed. The staff member didnt seem concerned. A medical practice should care more about their patients than to hide behind some rule they dont follow. Find a different practice. There are plenty of them. Thats what Im doing.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Benavides since my early 20s. (turning 31 this year.) She is a phenomenal doctor with a spectacular bedside manner. She really cares for her patients and is always so gracious, patient, sweet, kind and warm. I can not say enough good things about her.

I see Dr. Janice Alexander and I would never see anyone else. She is so great and truly cares about her patients and is so kind and genuine. She makes what could be a painful and awkward situation, a comforting situation.
