I hope too good to be true will not apply to Mint Dentistry Uptown as my first visit went off without a hitch (hence my initial review). I was in the office on 3/28/17 to have a temporary crown installed. I was informed I would be notified once my labs were in to schedule an appointment for the permanent crown. Fast forward to 6/1/17 and Id yet to receive a call. I called and spoke with Natalie who informed me that someone called and left a message regarding the labs. If youve visited Mint Dentistry, youd know one area they typically dont slack in, is the notification department. Multiple attempts for appointment reminders via calls or texts are made. When I informed her I had not received a call nor message and asked what their procedure was, I was told they generally make two phone calls and will send a letter as a last resort if they dont receive a response. I inquired as to when the labs arrived and was told 4/19/17. I find it strange that from 4/19/17 to 6/1/17 only 1 phone call was made (which I question). When I expressed this concern, Natalie was dismissive and stated she is not responsible for follow-up, so she wouldnt know if or when someone did. It would have been beyond cumbersome for myself and the office, if I called daily or even weekly to find out if my labs arrived. At the very least I should have received an apology for what is an apparent oversight. I scheduled the appointment as I am limited on choices at this point, but Im not enthused to say the least.

I set up an appointment for 12:30 and got there 10-15 minutes early. By 12:55 they still hadnt helped me and the receptionist finally decided to apologize for the wait and tried to explain that a computer was down. She said it would still be at least another 20 minutes before the dentist could see me. She also said the treatment (a simple cleaning) would take an hour and a half! I understand I was a new patient, but Ive gotten my teeth cleaned before and it has never taken even half that time. I noticed one of the dental assistants just hanging out behind the front desk for a good while and everyone who walked by had all the time in the world. I filled out all my paperwork online in order to prevent this time waste but apparently your time is irrelevant to everyone here. Not to mention the receptionist asked if I wanted something to drink but took 20 minutes to get me a water. I left the office before even starting my treatment and seems like I dodged a bullet. Never going back.

The dentist was extremely unprofessional and did not concern about my dental issues AT ALL. It was obvious that he did not want to rectify the issues with my fillings because he knew he would not be profiting from the correction since he couldnt bill my insurance to fix a mistake that was made at MINT during my previous visit. Also there was a dead huge cockroach/water bug on the floor of the DENTAL ROOM? How disgusting. (I have picture proof). That thing could have literally been crawling around on the dental equipment that went into my mouth. DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION. Unsanitary and unprofessional. Cant believe this was in uptown.

I love Mint Dentistry as a whole. They have done my children and my teeth since I moved here in 2011. I frequent the Mockingbird location. Love, love, that staff. Well, last Friday...Good Friday that is, I decided to go to the UPTOWN location. It is a very nice place and the staff is very friendly but the staff is forgetful too....Lol. They forgot to give me my bag after my cleaning. That is the highlight of my visit. Getting my treat bag means so much to me. I didnt get my new whiten tube, my travel toothpaste, my floss, my new toothbrush......I am so sad.

I loved this dentresity. I have always had a apprehension towards dentists and they definently made going to the dentists less awful. The staff was very attentive, kind, empathetic, and homely. I had a wisdom tooth pulled and it wasnt nearly as awful as I thought it would be. The reason I give them four stars is because the doctor wrote the pain med script wrong. By the time the pharmacy got the right script I was in a heckabamboozled amoumt of pain. Like so much pain I was practically begging the pharmacist to hurry.

Got a last minute appointment as a new patient for a cleaning. Everyone in the office was very welcoming and friendly. The whole process was very easy and fast. I was taken back to begin my x-rays within 2 minutes of finishing my paperwork. Vivianna was very nice and did a great job on explaining everything. The massage chairs, music, friendly environment, and teeth whitening are awesome added bonuses that arent typically found at other dentists. Would highly recommend!

This is my first visit to Mint Dentistry and I must say, they have set the bar for dentist! Not only do they have a beautifully designed and maintained office, their staff is beyond amazing! I came for the free whitening promo they have. Normally you would think its a catch with that. There isnt! They get the molding and they give you a kit to take home and do it yourself. If you are happy with it, you can come and purchase the gel for maintenance. It doesnt get any much easier than that! If you want to try, you should definitely do it and dont have second thoughts! Great service!

Today is my first time here and they have all been super friendly and welcoming. Im not a big fan of the dentist but they have made it very comfortable. They have offered to let me use their iPads and headphones, the chairs are massage chairs, and have offered to let me watch Netflix or play music on the tv above me. Also its a very nice view. I can say Ive never been to a dentist this nice.

This experience was a WOW from the moment you walk in and out. Very attentive and customer service beside the headphones and Netflix experience. If you have insurance and sign up for there plan its very affordable like I mean affordable that you leave the office with a great mood. I highly recommend Mint dentistry to everyone... Been trying to find a new dentist office closer to where I work and live. Heard about MINT on the radio so I decided to check it out. WOW!! I am blown away at how great the experience was. Super nice staff, high tech equipment, and free whitening. I would recommend this place to anyone thinking about finding a good dentist to go to.

The staff at Mint Dentistry was very friendly and informative. Im usually uncomfortable with the x-ray process, however here at Mint Dentistry it was a lot more of a comfortable experience than previous visits at other Dental offices. The Doctor was very informative, listened to my concerns and offered several options of resolution.
