I have to say that I had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Lets start from the beginning....I went to a gala fund raising event for Womens Heart Disease. I bid at the silent auction for 3 hydro facials, 1 perfect peel and 1 light therapy photo rejuvenation ( all from Aesthetica Skin Health & Wellness) Karen, from Woodbury, was the person who donated the package. However, she could NOT follow through with her donation. She was so disappointed that I...only one person, bought the whole package. She told me that they donated this package for the purpose of getting more publicity and referrals. She knew that since I lived an hour away, I most likely would not be sending my friends her way! She also was so DISAPPOINTED that I would not buy a skin pen package from her! With that being said, Karen cancelled several appointments and would not return my calls or texts. She only honored 2 hydro facials, but I still had to pay $25.00 each time extra for blading. She then DECLINED my third hydro facial, peel and photo rejuvenation. She said I got more than my moneys worth??? I cant believe that I donated so much money to such a great cause for Womens Heart Disease, and Karen could be so selfish and rude...obviously she didnt want to work without making an extra buck$$!!

I went to Kara for Perlane. She used some sort of needling technique for the injections. It smoothed out the injection and gave me an equal distribution. I was hesitant to do my lips and talked to Kara about it. I got my lips done by two different clinics and the results were not distributed (resulting in a lopsided smile). When I went into her office, I was thinking to do my cheeks. It would have been nice to go to her before as I shelled out a lot of $ for bad results, but Im glad I found it now. I am so satisfied with the results & hoping shell be there when I need my lips done again. I have always had a thin upper lip but now the overall appearance of my lips is that they are fuller. She is the best kept secret in the Twin Cities and I wouldnt be surprised if people start going to her when the word gets out. Parking was super easy and there is a lot out front (and its away from the Edina shops). She is very friendly and booking online is super slick!

If you are new to facials, fillers, lasers this is the place to go. They are not intimidating at all. They made me feel right at home. If a certain treatment is slightly uncomfortable they make sure you are comfortable. I knew exactly what to expect by the knowledgeable staff. Thanks Kara! My expectations were met and more! I have referred several family members and friends and every single one of them are now a loyal customer. The pricing is great! The establishment is beautiful and clean!! I have done a lot of treatments and all of them look natural, the look I want. Goodbye to my wrinkles and a youthful look! I would tell anyone who is looking to try something for their first time come here!! If you are dedicated to another place, come here! The services are phenomenal, and some services I dont think most places even offer. They are ahead of the trends. Modern!

Hands down the best!! The service was impeccable. Kara is very knowledgeable, personable and gifted in her field and beyond. I could not have come to a better place. I didnt know there were options and choices post chemo and post surgery until I came here. For 13 years I thought this was going to be the way it is. After meeting with Kara there was hope. Everyday things people take for granted were lost for me. Not anymore!! I look and feel wonderful. I have become a better me because of Kara. If you saw me you wouldnt believe the transformation or that I had undergone chemo or surgery 13 years prior. Everything looks so natural. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I found Kara & Aestheica through a Living Social Botox offer. I was nervous initially because I had ever had this done before & had no idea what to expect. I was in and out in 15 minutes & it was painless! I was shocked; thats it?! I went home & was THRILLED with what I saw as well as the experience. I called Kara the next day & scheduled another appointment a week later for a full consultation. I am 100% vested & trust her guidance in what she recommends for my skin. Kara is knowledgeable, experienced, & lovely. I cannot say enough about Kara and Aesthetica except I look forward to each appointment; she is amazing!

I love stumbling onto any of the Twin Towns best kept secrets. Aesthetician Kara is extremely experienced at her field -- the kind of experience that gives you solid confidence in her work. You can relax: Karas seen it all before, and she knows just how to right any skin wrongs. She is swift with the Botox needle (which doesnt hurt) and I liked my results. Her pricing is so reasonable that even the semi-destitute like myself can afford her. And i love her easy-to-find clinic, which is inside a charming old house in old Morningside. Parking is free, and right in front.

Kara is one of the most knowledgeable aesthetician I have had the pleasure of getting to know. She is brilliant, warm and takes the time to explain the pros and cons of each product or procedure. I just had the perfect peel and Im loving it!!! My skin is glowing and I cant find my pores anymore! Shes great with injections too, I have not had any bruising at all. Best place for a Hydrafacial!!!! I have had many microdermabrasions and peels prior to my hydra facial, and my skin never looked as good as it does after a hydrafacial. My skin was soft, lines were smoothed and I felt like I had young skin again! I loved going to Aesthetica, their hydrafacial is worth it!
