So my girlfriend was experiencing neck pain and we decided to go into a nearby urgent care facility to get her checked out. This was the closest one, we went in and we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist at the Urgent Care check in desk. After checking her insurance it turned out that it wasnt valid anymore, so we stepped out into the walkway room to try to figure out what we should do with it. As we were making our decision, a nurse came in and started trying to explain to my girlfriend how the insurance worked, she was giving her the correct information but as I was trying to tell the nurse more about our situation, she immediately put her hand towards me and told me very rudely "Im talking to her not you". At this point I was like in my mind " ok I guess, that was rude but if she doesnt want to talk to me fine". She left the room and we resumed trying to make a decision, a few minutes later the nurse came back and said the doctor wanted to see her, EVEN THOUGH WE WERE STILL DECIDING WHAT WE WANTED TO DO AND SHE WAS NOT INSURED AT ALL. She kept trying to convince her to come in and she was THE MOST RUDE NURSE I have ever interacted with in MY LIFE. I was EVEN CONSIDERING IT until she REFUSED to let me come in with her because I was already sketched out by this place and didnt feel safe sending her in alone, she also agreed she wasnt comfortable and they were being very rude. At this point the insurance wasnt an issue, it was the staff and I did not want her treated by anyone in this facility and she agreed with me, we then walked out of the building. A few minutes later THE DOCTOR came outside and again started another argument with us, he threatened to CALL THE POLICE on us for NO REASON AT ALL. We then walked away and 5 minutes later the POLICE showed up, we confronted the officer, he asked us a few questions and let us go. It was the biggest waste of government resources I think I have ever seen. We then decided we were gonna get her treatment today and apply for insurance the next day so the insurance would rollback the bill, so we went down the street to the St. Johns ER and NOT ONE NURSE OR DOCTOR TREATED US POORLY, NOT ONE, EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS VERY RESPECTFUL AND DID A PROFESSIONAL JOB, and I was able to accompany her throughout the ENTIRE process, turned out she just had a pulled muscle and nothing major was wrong with her. So all in all in the end, take the extra few blocks down the street to St Johns if you want to be treated by professional nurses and doctors who treat you with respect. This situation angered me so much that I just had to come on here and write this review to avoid someone ending up in the same situation I was in.

I am highly uncomfortable with doctors and medical advice. Ive never had any crazy ailment but once I moved on from my pediatrician every doctor Ive met has always treated my with disbelief and disinterest. DR. VANG IS THE WONDERFUL EXCEPTION. I have gone through 5 different primary care doctors and not one has given me the feeling that my health was of concern to them. I want to feel as if my doctor is invested in my wellbeing and Dr. Bang has been amazing in that regard. He has been open and informative and takes my input and listens to me before either agreeing or suggesting something different. I havent had the need to visit for anything beside general health issues but each time has been great. The clinic itself seem kind of downtrodden but they have the equipment available to take care of your health. Additionally I have never waited much longer than 10 minutes, it really is a great place for the area. I actually moved an hour away and I still go there because the care is exemplary.

My family goes here. The doctors and pracitioners my daughter and Ive seen are awesome - Dr. Gendreau and Dr Ye in particular. In particular, Dr. Gendreau-Sanders is a phenomenal pediatrician - WOW. I wouldnt be surprised if she were the best in the state. Ive seen Deanne Printon, who is also very good and thorough, and Kathy Holiday - who is GREAT. The admitting staff are so kind, nice, respectful and simply just good at their jobs. My husband has had a doctor in Family Medicine that wasnt very good - disrespectful and not a good communicator. Now hes with another one that he feels doesnt get him - but it might just take some time. But for me, the entire experience, every time, even the lab drawing area - has been first class.

Dont get me wrong, its a medical clinic and they get the job done. However, this has now happened to me multiple times there now where Ill go in for a concern of mine and I feel as if they completely ignore what Im asking. They will then proceed to go on some tangent, try to order a bunch of tests and medications, never discuss the cost potential, and then send me a huge bill. Ive even consulting a few doctor friends of mine and theyll ask why they are prescribing the certain tests... Thats a terrible way to run a clinic and they epitomize why our health system blows. The only reason Im giving them 2 stars is because Dr. Bauer is awesome! Great eye doctor, would definitely recommend.

Went into their urgent care for me & my 2 year old son. Everyone there was nice and patient. When the doctor came he was super nice about my illness but he seem very careless when it came to my son. He rushed into it. Didnt even wanna explain what my baby has or whats with the rash all over him, from head to toe. I explained how he does have eczema and He just simply said, I think its just eczema. But really..... I really believe it isnt! Theres little pimple-looking-like rash all over his body. How is it eczema?! Taking my baby somewhere else. I believe this UGRENT care isnt for you to take your young children/babies.

I went in because I thought there was a UTI and came back normal but no one should feel pressure and the doctor pretty much said ur good nothing wrong and wouldnt check for other reasons- I am going back to bandana square allina clinic never had problems maplewood is just closer. Not a good feeling when you go to the doctor and they dont give you any reassurance.

Terrible customer service. Not very warm. The lady checking us in was very rude and didnt make us feel welcome at all. The nurse made us feel uncomfortable. Not going back. There have to be come compassionate care facilities in the area within our network. This facility needs to work on some issues.

I take both of my children to see Dr. Gendreau since they were born. Best pediatrician I could ever have hoped for!! I always feel understood, reassured and trust her completely.
