Ignore every single negative post you see on here. People have very unrealistic expectations and unfair evaluations for many businesses. This Veterinary facility is no exception. Firstly, I opted in the puppy plan for my dog by choice (not by force or inposition) and it saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Places like Petco, and other "assembly line" type Vet Clinics, will give multiple vaccines at once, not taking the health of your pet into account. My puppy was only 2lbs and given one vaccine at a time for his safety. They vaccines this facility recommends are recommended based on general statistics in NJ and reported incidents of disease in animals NOT vaccinated. They do not impose any vaccine on anyones pet, they simply inform, educate, & warn you as the owner, of what the outcome will likely be if you do NOT choose to vaccinate and your animal happens to be exposed. This especially true for vaccines like Leptospirosis or Lyme, which are "optional" vaccines, so people dont bother., but these diseases are devastating to an unvaccinated animal. Moreover, you are not doing your pet a favor by being cheap & skipping immunizations that are life saving and beneficial. I personally did not vaccinate against Lyme because my pup is not in exceptionally grassy or wooded areas frequently & I use an organic, non-toxic, topical spray that has kept all parasites non-existent. However, if I moved to Sussex county or to an area known to have a prevelant populations of variations of ticks, there is no question I would vaccinate him. His health would matter more than paying for an extra vaccine. The bottom line here is, please understand that not many things in life are free. People tend to misconstrue there being a "charge" for something, as somehow uncustomary or abnormal. This IS a business. There is a charge for services. However, with being charged, your animal is first priority and provided with excellent care and visible competence by the Vets and staff at this practice. I assure you, as a consumer, I have done my research and everything I was ever charged for here (outside of what was included in the puppy plan- which was damn near everything), was reasonable and customary. I love this practice and every single staff member has been pleasant, informative, and patient. I was never rushed out, or made to feel pressured. Im always greeted pleasantly and even my puppy is greeted and given treats. In fact, my puppy was recently neutered (4 days ago), which inspired this long review. The young lady that did our intake saw how worried and upset I was. She reassured me that he would be fine. She explained the entire process and assured me she would be with him all day. She comforted me and she comforted my puppy. Well, that young lady just called me- at 9pm on a Monday evening, asking me how I was doing and how my puppy was feeling. I was moved and impressed. This facility will keep my business. I also appreciate the follow- ups, appointment reminders, kind nature of all the staff & their genuine love for animals. Ive heard stories about the personal pets of at least 50% of the staff, just from general conversation while at office visits. I would say thats what a Vet practice should be- personalization at its best. Finally, if you cannot afford general animal care and having to pay for animal health necessities upsets you, then you dont need to have a pet... Sorry not sorry. There is NO price on my animals health and wellness. I will gladly pay whatever I can come up with to ensure he stays happy & healthy. Hes a family member. Thanks PetVet Staff. I think youre all doing a spectacular job! Keep it up.

Im really confused by all the great reviews here. This was honestly the worst vet visit we ever had. Thats saying a lot after 20 years of caring for animals - and many, many vet visits. I have never felt more pushed to get different vaccines, tests and treatments for my dog (nor have I ever written a negative review about a vet experience). This visit was too uncomfortable and awkward. We came here so excited to switch vets permanently, especially after seeing they offer free check ups for first clients. But of course it was too good to be true. As soon as we walked in, literally every sales tactic in the book was used left and right on us. Everything was 100% about making the sale and that was very transparent. The check up did not feel like it usually does at other vets. It was NOT about the customer or our dogs. I counted about 2 smiles that were given to us the whole time. I didnt even hear them call my dog by her name once. Services I clearly stated I did NOT want were added into our recommended programs cost. When we said we will think about the program more and come back, they didnt let us take the sheet with the list of services - but instead they gave a business card with the total cost written on it, with none of the service costs itemized. Because, hey, the most important thing to remember is the total money you will give us and our address! Not what will actually help us make a decision on whats best for our dogs! We walked out clearly upset, and still there was zero effort to make it right. The funny thing is, I actually went expecting to get vaccines for my dog! But because the entire program was so expensive and had so many miscellaneous additions, I ended up getting nothing. Now I have to get them done at another vet. How disappointing. Highly recommend going elsewhere. Every other vet or pet care place I went to has been SO much friendlier, warmer and more loving to our dogs (and us humans). I hate writing negative reviews for small businesses, but I had to for this. I just wish someone wrote this honest of a review before we wasted 1-2 hours of our day here.

My dog broke her leg on a Friday late in the day. I was surprised to find that this office is open until 10pm. and by arriving before 8 pm we were able to avoid the emergency charge. Dr Narza was attentive and we felt that our dog was in good hands, She was casted and given pain medication with a 2 week follow up appointment. The nice thing was they called on Monday to see how she was doing. I had a concern regarding her behavior so they suggested I bring her in for a quick check. Dr. Han saw her and addressed my concerns. I have been pleased with the care she has received at the clinic and the vets are very personable. If I am honest my only negative comment is that I found them to be expensive, but that could be that I am just not aware of what the usual charges are here as we just moved into the area a few weeks ago from upper state New York. I would definitely not recommend them after subsequent follow up visits. I feel that for a broken leg you should take your dog to a experienced competent vet. the vets here are unable to read the xray and it costs an additional $100 to have them read within 4 hours, or for an additional fee you can have them read within the hour. i have been fortunate that prior to this I had amazing vets who are able to read xrays, do ultra sounds etc. Very expensive place - came across as being all about the money.
