Dont let its tiny size fool you, these folks are very nice to the animals they serve and to their owners. I bring my 10 year old cranky Maine Coon Cat & my silly 9 month old Golden Retriever to Cape Vet Clinic, they love it there and so do I. Drs Hunzicker & Flahive are the two weve interacted with…they both take their time with your pets, ask lots of questions and actually listen to your answers, they are also very patient in answering all of my questions. The technicians & office staff are great as well, always taking the time to dote on your 4 legged loved ones and give them whatever is needed…whether its a little love when you first walk in or special care when your fury kids are sick.

Wed been using Cape Vet ever since co-workers at our two respective workplaces ended up recommending the same place (had recently relocated to the Portland). Should note we were there thru the changeover (first pair of vets retired, stayed in what wed consider good hands). Service is great, theyll answer questions, give you *all* treatment options (ie. they dont just simply try to push the "fancy products" as can all too often be the case). Truly down-to-earth practice. Also, reasonable costs. Have since moved out-of-state and really miss this clinic.

This place has the most caring staff of veterinarians and techs I have ever met! They go above and beyond every time I visit. They are all very knowledgeable and friendly, and I know my dog is in great hands when he comes for a visit. My Boston terrier used to be such a huge spaz when he got his nails trimmed that other places had refused/been unable to cut his nails. Dr. Hunzicker and her techs used a series of techniques to build his trust and now he compliant and relaxed during the process.

Everyone at Cape Vet is just wonderful and helpful. They are very understanding of all the questions I had as a first time pet owner, took the time to explain and reexplain a few things whether it was in the office or a phone call. Our dog Buddy loves going to visit them, if he is never nervous or scared of the doctor it must be a sign its a great place. Looking for the most humane and personal care for your pet? This is the place to to trust.

Rarely am I inclined to take time to write a review, however, I had such a wonderful experience at Cape Veterinary Clinic. William Flahive looked and treated my pup with such exceptional care. He took his time thoroughly explaining the issue(s) and also went above and beyond to help my dog feel comfortable. I am so happy with my visit and I HIGHLY recommend taking your pets there. I know my dog is in good hands at Cape Veterinary Clinic.

Cape Vet Clinic is the best clinic I have ever brought my animals to. The ladies that work the reception desk are always extremely helpful when I need to get my dog in right away. They always greet Roo or Mayer as soon as we walk through the door. The techs and doctors are all so knowledgeable, I know that my dogs are getting the best care when they are there.

I was so amazed by the kindness and warmth I was met with at the Cape Vet today. When I brought my pet chicken in to be seen the doctor and technician took the time to talk with me and encouraged me about my pets options. These people are professional, but theyre also personable too. They definitely love animals of all shapes and sizes and it shows!

Love, love, love everything about Cape Vet Clinic! I have been bringing my dog there for 12 years! The staff is fantastic and many of them have worked there as long as my dog has been a patient there (which I think really speaks to the kind of awesome vet they are!) Great staff at Cape Veterinary Clinic. They take time with your pet and you during the visit and explain carefully what they are doing and why. They do not push treatments on you either that are expensive. They understand the need to treat your pet within the means that you can provide economically.
