After being a customer for many years , this was the worst experience to date. Customers be sure to have a copy of your glasses prescription handy and look before you take new glasses home. We had a referral to kids eye specialist who gave us glasses prescription. We arrive at Denny and the receptionist "scans " the new prescription. Yea right. Sae that the glasses numbera didnt match the specialist number. Informed Denny staff and made it seem like it was our fault for not showing the lady who helps with frames our prescription. She looks at is crazy and shows us whats in the computer and they dont match. So obviously the receptionist didnt scam our new prescription. They surely got the billing correct and nothing else. So here I am, waiting another two hours and time off work for someone else mistake. Now if I was running Dennys I would have moved the mistake to the front of the line and not another two hours of waiting. I was also informed of I didnt want to wait, they could mail the glasses to me. So Denny, I will see my regular doctor of many years and take my prescription somewhere else cheaper and more efficient and customer courtesy.

Mom and I are Dothan natives & have been going to Denneys for 30+ years. However for last 8-10 years it has really gone downhill. We see Dr. Maxwell & usually have to wait 1 to 2 hours every time. Staff not really rude, but not friendly either; mostly composed of young girls who dont smile & give curt answers to questions. Eyeglass dept has hugh selection only problem is that you have to buy the demo glasses on display. Last visit mom picked out a pair, but they were crooked. I asked if they could order her a new frame. The lady helping us said no; that the lab would fix any problems. I told her we really preferred new frames; again we were told its just not done. I asked speak to manager; the lady left & then came back & told us she could order the frames, but we would have to pay the shipping & handling charges. I still wanted to talk to the manager, but was told that there was nothing further to discuss. Mom ended up getting the demo glasses, & they still sit crooked on her face to this day. The lab has tried several times to fix, but they always go back crooked every time. Next time well be going somewhere more accomodating.

I have been going to Denney Vision for all of my eye care for the past five years and have always been pleased. Ive never waited more than ten minutes to see my eye doctor, Dr. Jones. The nurses who conduct the preliminary tests are knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Jones is thorough when examining my eyes and takes the time to listen to any concern I may have. I have replaced my frames a few times just to update them, that is where I have a problem - there are too many to choose from! There is a huge selection of frames, and I have always found a pair I love. I also purchase my sunglasses from Denney Vision. They have all the latest styles, and I love their selection of Ray Bans. Finally, if I ever need my glasses repaired, all I have to do is walk in the back door and sit down at the repair station. Instant service and Im on my way! Denney Vision is the best, especially Dr. Kirk Jones.

My appointment for today was set for 10:15, but I was over 10 minutes late so I am grateful that they scheduled me for a slot at 2:30 the same day since I dont live in Dothan. Ive been seeing Dr. Hornsby for the past 3 years. I love that he is nice, but he also conducts the eye exam pretty swiftly. I am writing this review to highlight the ladies who helped me in the contact lens department. One of them was Ashley and I cant remember her co-workers name. Im trying contacts for the first time, and they were very patient with me as I tried to learn how to apply them. The receptionists do not have the warmest personalities, but I always love the attention I receive from the people who help with eyeglasses and now those who help with contacts.

The doctor was great, the doctor support staff also great but not much good to say from there. I felt like I was part of a herd of cattle. The front desk people were not friendly or very helpful. I cant believe that I even got an appointment, when I call now all I get is recordings or busy signal. First time I used the patient portal I got a very quick response but not this time. Prices are high and I doubt Ill go back. Just need my prescription so I can get my needed contacts. going on second week of daily wear. Really liked Dr. Hornsby but the rest is just not working for me. The doctor, support staff and glasses selection is the only reason they got two stars from me.

We show up a few minutes early for my wifes 10am appointment. We dont get called back until after 11am. The registration clerk that took the chart back was very rude and pointedly told us "well theyre just going to have to wait, Im busy" when one of the nurses asked her to check us out. This same clerk, knowing my wife needs contacts and new lenses, just sent us to go check out, skipping the whole part where she gets her contacts and frames. Not knowing your business process when youre dealing with insurance and peoples vision is unsettling. Everyone else seemed to be polite and knew what was going on, somewhat salvaging this over 3+ hour routine visit.

Awful. I am 35 and have went here since elementary school. My family and myself had issues getting appointments, long wait, and super bitchy office staff with unprofessional appearance - caked on makeup and long nasty fingernails. So we all swapped to another doctor a few years ago. My doctor was unexpectedly off today so I called at 10 am to see if they were busy. I was told "we met our quota we met our quota". Who does that? So rude - and didnt even ask if I wanted an appointment or have any other suggestions of a good date. I tried to give them another chance - rude heffers Im a patient not a quota. I will keep my cash and take it elsewhere.

My husband and his family have been clients for over 20 years and were pleased with the service for the most part until two years ago. At this time it is near impossible to communicate with the appointment or contact lenses department. The messages say up to 24 hr return calls but we have not received a return call yet. It has been a week at this point. We went through this last time as well. Not to mention that they labelled his contacts backwards. The organization has taken a poor turn for the worse and I would not recommend them to anyone. Please seek care elsewhere. There is no doubt better service available!

I have been a patient of Dr. Megan Walker for many years. My daughters also see her for their vision needs. She is a thorough optometrist with a great personality. She listens to your concerns and follows through with any necessary steps to address the concerns or issues. I highly recommend her for your vision needs. Denney Vision has recently remodeled their entire office and expanded their selection of frames, sunglasses and contact lenses. You can find any brand and any price range that you may be looking for. The office has a clean, sleek, modern look and fits in well in the downtown Dothan area.
