I went to get a eye exam in dec 2015 it must have been a good one it cost $148.00 ..i was getting ready to go to my florida home for the winter so I did not have time to get glassed made there before I left. When I got to florida I had 2 pair made …I could not use them without getting a headache so I returned them, I then had another eye exam done this one was $45.00,,, it was quite different from the one I had received from Gaddies .at that point I decided to wait till I got home and go back to Gaddies in july ,when I explained my problem to them they told me that they would do another exam at no charge ..when they did it again it was very close to the second one I had done in florida ..there were unsure what happened the first time. I have had glasses made off the 3rd exam and there are fine. Here is the best part I received a bill from gaddies for $35 for the re exam in july ..i thought it was a mistake so I call and left a message with the billing department thinking that would be the end of it ..but I got a call were they informed me the I owed that because it had been more than 6 months ..as I tried to explain that the first exam was incorrect ..i was cut off shot and was told again that I owed the 35 I told the lady I would pay that and that would be the last 35 gaddie would see from me ,,,well that seamed to make her happy…well after thinking about it the only good exam I got was 35 dollars the one for 148 was not worth the paper it was wrote on ….so I think gaddie owes me 148.00 …and that is fair there have been 2 pair of glasses made that had to be thrown away..not including the headaches and the waist of time

I have been going to Gaddie Eye Center for almost 18 years and have always received excellent care. Dr. Gaddie discovered my glacoma at an early stage and has been successfully working to help me keep my vision. He and his staff have my complete confidence in eye care, contacts, and glasses. I think you would be happy with any of his offices but I am most familiar with the one in LaGrange. The staff members are friendly and helpful. 7/14 Wanted to thank Dr. Ben Gaddie and his office staff for helping me with my lost medications while in Alaska and Canada. While my luggage and eye drops were on a journey of there own, they faxed new prescriptions to me. I couldnt do without these medications for 2 weeks. Thank you so much for everything. Wouldnt trust my eyes to anyone else.

The doctor was great! Very sweet and helpful. Although when I came to pick up my glasses after a week, the staff had incorrectly entered my prescription so when my glasses came in they were not correct. I had no other form of eyewear, but the worst part was the lady I talked to was extremely rude, defensive and unapologetic. Word for word said "unfortunately humans still make your glasses". I realize that, but it is indeed your job and even when mistakes happen, they should treat customers with respect and be kind in apologizing if they are at fault. Im a 19 year old girl, who dealt with a middle aged woman and Ive been raised to carry myself with more respect and dignity then this worker. Business should be ashamed.

Excellent experience; called to the exam room on time, staff and Dr. Clark are friendly and knowledgeable, all of my insurance information was right at their fingertips and they were able to answer questions that I had about costs, and I received great care and assistance from Shelly and the others who helped me with frame selection. They offered opinions that helped me make the final selection - they were all very patient. I even found a fabulous pair of Kate Spade sunglasses that I like a lot!! :-) It doesnt get better than that!

Went to the Gaddie Eye Center for first time and the experience was remarkable. Dr Ben Gaddie sat with me and explained everything in laymans terms so that I knew exactly what was going on with my eyes. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. Had to make another visit for my eyes because of problems and saw Dr. McWherter and was an excellent Dr. He also explained everything and was very thorough. I would highly recommend either dr and the office staff were very professional and friendly. An overall excellent visit

Horrible service, my husband sat in a waiting room for over an hour without anyone checking on him. When I called to inquire, I was told there was an emergency. I understand emergencies occur and they take priority but someone should have let him know. All I heard from the staff was a list of excuses. They said he should have come to the front desk and asked what was going on. Unacceptable. He is the customer.

I have been going to the Gaddie eye center for 20+ years. I started Seeing Bruce Gaddie and graduated to his son Ben. I would not recommend any other center. The care I have gotten has been wonderful! I have some rare diseases and the Gaddie Eye Center has been able to work with my needs, always explaining in lay terms what I need and why. Thank You Dr. Bruce and Ben Gaddie!

Needed to find an ophthalmologist due to eye injury. I wanted someone close without having to drive a long distance. Went to reviews on the internet to find a good doctor. I am well pleased with the choice I made. Fast friendly service and everything well explained. I highly recommend Dr. Gaddie & his staff to anyone needing a good patient friendly eye doctor.

I appreciate the prompt,friendly,professional service that I receive at Gaddies. I see Dr.Sharon Thompson for my annual and other, if needed, eye care. She is very thorough and knowledgeable.
