It was a process getting my lenswear prescription corrected and there was frustration from both ends trying to get it right for a few weeks. Communication could have been more frequent, as I am also in the small healthcare business world myself and value patient care and communication very much. They knew I was at my wits end with not being able to see clearly, and having headaches from squinting and getting watery eyes due to incorrect lenses was not pleasant. I also had trouble focusing on my computer screen at work. TJ Shoats, Dr. Harveys certified optician finally got it right because as soon as I tried on my glasses with the third set of lenses they special ordered I could instantly read the fine print on a truck sitting across the parking lot, so Im hopeful. Dr. Harvey and his staff are a friendly bunch overall, and if this works, I shall return for my next eye checkup.

My friend had been raving about the great service he got from Dr. Harvey so convinced my guy to make an appointment there. He had been wearing an old prescription because he had spent the last year looking for “just the right pair” of glasses. This is an ongoing battle every eye appointment. He finally went to have his eyes checked and called me on his way home to tell me he had ordered glasses. I about fell down! Dr. Harvey must work miracles in addition to checking eyes :) But seriously, Dr. Harvey could see my guy was indecisive and took the time to sit down with him and help him find a pair of glasses that were functional and still stylish, that’s great service. Thank you Dr. Harvey!

I appreciate personal service and friendly people, and that is certainly the experience I have had with Dr. Andrew Harvey of Harveyeye Optometry. My family and I live in Crestwood, and Dr. Harveys office is just five minutes away, and in the same shopping center where we get out groceries (Kroger on La Grange Road), rent movies (Blockbuster) and more. The office was comfortable, he was right on time for my scheduled appointment, there were tons of frames to choose from and the equipment is all new. What I really enjoyed was how kind and friendly Dr. Harvey was. I will definitely be going back for my vision needs and telling my friends about his new practice.

I have switched from my previous optometrist (at a different practice) to Dr. Harvey and Im so glad I did. Dr. Harvey is friendly and caring and is an excellent optometrist and was good about answering my eye questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Although I was there for contact lenses on that occasion, I noticed that there was a good range of glasses frames for men, women and children. I especially liked it that the prices were clearly marked on the frames - no need to guess or ask. The location is so handy - I live in Northeast Louisville and its quite close and convenient to get there on I-265.

Dr. Harvey and staff provided me with one of the best experiences Ive had at an optometrists office ever. My husband is in the military and we move around a lot, so Ive been to quite a few. Everyone was very patient when my babysitter canceled on me and I had to bring my 9 month old daughter to my appointment. Dr. Harvey was informative, professional, and friendly. Both staff members were the same. I had a great exam and a lot of help picking out new frames. Id definitely recommend Harveyeye.

My wife and I had such a great experience here! TJ (front desk guy) was fantastic. He made us feel very comfortable and was immensely helpful in choosing frames. The Doc was just as accommodating. Extremely friendly. They took time with us. Just really great people. Prices were competitive, but the experience was definitely worth any extra cost. I called Louisville home, Id never see a different optometrist.

Loved my experience at Harveyeye. I took my two kids for contacts prescription and I was in and out within an hour! Dr. Harvey was professional, courteous, and he took his time to address all our questions and concerns. I am so glad I found this place, we will definitely go back for all our vision needs!

Dr. Harvey is probably the nicest (and funniest) doc ever. My favorite thing about Dr. Harvey, is even though I go in maybe once every 6 months, he still knows my name. Highly recommended.
