My daughter has always been good at her previous dentist, so I know this was definitely due to this particular dentist. I took my daughter to this dentist when she was 21 months old. We were left in an exam room without privacy for over an hour, even after we had been in the waiting room for 30 minutes. I had made an appointment 6 months in advance, so the wait should not have been that long. The nurses were rude, did not accept dental history from my daughters previous dentist, and acted entitled. The doctor did not even introduce himself. I had to ask who he was. He forced my daughters mouth open without speaking to her. She started crying because he had gripped her mouth so hard it left marks. I will never go back there again. He is a pediatric dentist. He should not treat patients that way. Once a child has had a bad experience at a doctor or dentist, they become resistant to going. I was definitely fooled by the cool decor also, but my daughter deserves better treatment than someone like him.

I love this place so much..Ive been taking my son to Dr. De La Garza since he was 6 months old..(the recommended age to start taking your child to the dentist). I have never had a problem with the staff they are very polite and professional since Ive been going there. What Dr. Office isnt ever busy...the morning is the best time to make appointments. I do live off the South Side of San Antonio off of Sw Military Dr..and let me tell you I drive all the way to Potranco because I cant seem to find a pediatric dentist as nice and with professional staff and dentist as West Over Hills Pediatric Dentistry. I would highly recommend this place anytime!

HOOOOOORRRRRRRIBLE !!!!!!!! Didnt even make it to see the DAMM dentist the front lobby was packed they were more than double booked there were at least 10 kids in there and 2 dentists !!! Non of the parents were watching their kids my daughter got her fingers smashed and my son got hit in the head I was already waiting for a while AND THE INSURANCE WAS STILL NOT VERIFIED THERE WERE TWO FAMILIES THERE ALREADY AND THERE WERE TWO FAMILIES THAT CAME IN AFTER ME THAT GOT CALLED IN FIRST I tried talking to the office manager and shes just comes up with excuses WAY TOO MANY PATIENTS BEING BOOKED AT ONCE AND TO SMALL OF A LOBBY FOR IT

I took my son there to get treated not criticized!!! The individual that did his cleaning, which is a girl, kept putting him down...do you even brush your teeth? Nooo, I dont think you do!!! She said it in a rude way and loud enough that others were able to hear!!! Those comments were uncalled for!!! There are other ways to go about it. I didnt say anything because Im sure amongst them they would of swept it under the rug!!! So instead, Im leaving this comment for others to read and give one a heads up of what can be expected!!!

My son has been a patient of Dr De La Garza since he was 6 months old, my son is now 8 years old and has never been anywhere else. We love it here, always seen within a timely manner and taken care of. My son has never had a bad experience at this office. The hygienists have so much patience when doing his cleanings. My son has never had a cavity! I always recommend Dr De La Garza to all my friends and family with children.

I didnt even make it into the clinic. As soon as I called, I was cut off mid sentence and put on hold about 5 times in a 5 minute period, while receptionist laughed and spoke with someone else. Shed ask me a question, cut me off mid sentence and tell me to wait or hang on while she continued her conversation with someone else. I will NOT be taking my kids here if they cant even take 2 minutes to attend someone on the phone.

For years I had been wanting a Dentist that would make my children comfortable and happy. To make it an excited experience and it sure was my four year old is constantly asking when her next appointment is. The wait may be a bit long but the service they give to my six four and one year old is worth it.
