Profit Maximizing? New to the area and after researching his background/reviews, I made my appointment with Dr. Adam Freeman. I had a pleasant enough cleaning but then my consultation was not with Dr. Freeman but rather with Dr. Kudish as suddenly he was not available. I understand that its hard to get patients to see the newest doctor but bait and switch is not the way. For shy of $500 for a new patient cleaning and basic four bite x rays I was left feeling scammed. Dr. Kudish was nice enough but it felt like the hygienist made a diagnosis and she just nodded in agreement. I did not trust the suggestions as there was no explanation or evaluation of other options. The doctor exam did not feel thorough enough and she seemed to have already made up her mind before the exam. She had based her decision on the x rays and the hygienist comments. The lack of explanation made me feel she was lacking in expertise. This is why I mentioned the fees - the five minutes of "doctor" time I received was inadequate. I have since found a local dentist that is amazing and did not agree with Dr. Kudish so I am glad that I did not get my work done with Westport Associates. The rest of the staff seemed a bit cold and lacking in concern although professional enough. Bottom line: Its always hard to trust a profit maximizer especially in medicine.

Anybody thinking of going to Westport Dental beware! Their prices have just jumped, so for a routine visit find out how much they will charge BEFORE you go. In Nov 2014 they charged me $330 for routine cleaning, exam, x-rays, cancer screen. In Feb 2016 they charged me $459 for the same four services. So their prices jumped 39% in a year and 3 months!!! I have been going to Westport Dental for decades and the care has always been excellent. Jessica does an outstanding job with cleaning, etc, and Dr. Stanley has given me terrific care. I would give them 5 stars for what they do but 0 stars for their charges. That averages out to 2.5 stars, downgraded to 2 stars for not warning longtime patients of the changes beforehand. Ill have to look elsewhere for my care: I pay out of pocket for my dental care because my health insurance does not cover dental. Incidentally, I posted this review because Westport Dental sent an email requesting a review here.

Ive never been happier with any other dental practice. We came to Dr. Hannah and Westport Dental Associates through a recommendation from our neighbor. My son had to have very extensive work done to his teeth. He was visiting another practice in town, a practice which completely neglected to tell us of his dental problems. Westport Dental Associates and Dr. Hannah in the Pediatric Dentistry division were unbelievable. She was very gentle with our son and explained everything in great detail to us about what needed to be done. We loved our sons experience so much our entire family left the dentist we had been seeing for over 20 years and went to Westport Dental Associates. We have never been happier with the honest and amazing service we receive from this practice and their staff.

I went in to see Dr. Freeman for a wisdom tooth infection and ...not good. He did not manage my pain well, he was not careful with what he was doing and rushed, unnecessarily (there were no other patients in the office.) He put local novacaine to desensitize the area but did not wait more than a minute before giving me the novacaine shot - not enough time for it to take effect. After the shot, he waited only another minute before working on my tooth - again not nearly enough time for the novacaine to begin working. I do think he treated my tooth correctly but it was a harsh, rushed experience.

I have been going here for about 50 years and always saw Dr. Freeman(Stan). ...I had a bit of an emergency with a cracked tooth, and Dr. Freeman was not in. I wanted to take care of it asap and was able to get in to see Dr. Kudish. I was very skeptical about having someone else look at my teeth, but she was SO nice, very gentle, and did a great job. i also have to praise Bridget and Evelina!!! They are so good at what they do and really make going to the dentist a nice experience. I am sure that sounds weird, but it is true!!

Dr. Freeman filled a cavity for me this morning. I was very, very nervous about the procedure because I knew that the filling would be dangerously close to the nerve. Prior to the procedure, Dr. Freeman informed me of all the possibilities regarding filling such a large cavity, one of them being that I might eventually need a root canal. Because he was so careful and took his time, the procedure was easily done. I felt absolutely NO pain! And, a root canal was not needed - yay!

Loved my experience at Westport Dental. Dr Kudish has a wonderful table side manner. She is extremely warm, gentle and thoughtful and cared about my well being throughout the whole visit. She patiently and clearly explained to me what was happening in my mouth and the procedure she would be doing. Her expertise is evident and I trusted her completely! Sitting in a chair that massages you overlooking the river makes going to the dentist a real treat.

Our family has been going to Westport Dental Associates for over ten years. The staff is consistently friendly, efficient, and professional. The reason we started going here for our cleanings and fillings? A friend told us she is allergic to anesthesia, and the dentists at Westport Dental are so skilled that she could get fillings done with minimal pain, so she remained loyal to them. How much stronger of a recommendation can you get than that?

Wesport Dental Associates have been our dental care provider for three decades and we still go to them in spite of the fact that we moved from Weston, CT to North Salem, NY. Dr. Stanley Freeman has been our main doctor all this years and we consider him a friend. His staff is always courteous and very professional and provide excellent advise with regard to taking care of our teeth.

I am not a big fan of going to the dentist...who is? I actually dont mind going to Westport Dental Associates. They are nice, gentle and QUICK. Jess had me cleaned, flossed and polished all within 35 minutes! I highly recommend them for all your dental needs. Also - their new Pediatric Dentist must be good - my kids dont mind going there either (my husband brings them).

Best cleaning I ever had. Very thorough and it took over 30 minutes (i.e. they are not rushing you out the door like most dentists). Evelyna was also very kind and gave good feedback on how to care for my teeth... particularly to what I was doing wrong or needed to do more thoroughly (like flossing). Glad to have found my new dentist.

This is a terrific practice. I switched from my previous dentist and could not be happier. Evelina is my dental hygenist and she is one of the best! Dr. Freeman was recommended to me by the Head of the Faculty Practice at Columbia University and it is easy to see why. He is super competent and has a wonderful manner.
