I unfortunately have to give a one star review. My stay started on a friday night. Saturday morning I was told my medicine had not come in from the pharmacy. While it was odd that I wasnt receiving my medication in the hospital. What made this a big deal is that I have a heart arrhythmia. I tried to talk to the nurse about it, but she seemed completely un-concerned. Actually I would say she gave every indication she did not care at all. Well, I figured oh well - it should stay in my body well enough. That night I was told it still had not come in. I was a little more concerned, but again the nurse just stopped talking to me or even acknowledging I was there. Sunday morning it still was not in, and I was extremely concerned. A different nurse was completely indifferent about it. Monday morning it finally came in. My doctor was the only one upset about it. He actually got quite nasty in the treatment team meeting. I could not fathom how it worked out that I did not receive my medication for a serious health condition for two days. I also wondered why the director of nursing or the medical director never came to talk to me even though I requested it. The social workers are excellent, and the day programs are great. Unfortunately I have to ignore them and give a one star rating for extreme medical negligence.

I have a mixed opinion. My psychiatrist was very out of touch, I agree with one of the other reviews on that. The nurses were good but very stressed due to being overworked and understaffed. The physicians were okay. You sit around a lot if youre a psych patient. The art therapist is pretty cool and the assignments were insightful and usually effective. The foods quality was on and off, either really good or okay/bleh. The outpatient program is good and the group meetings there are great. Overall, if you are going for outpatient treatment I would recommend it, but inpatient was okay. If you can afford to go to a higher quality facility for outpatient treatment I would.

The hospital was good at first. Started slipping during my sons second time there. The doctors and nurses lie. They discharged my son to his real father who is the reason why my son was there in the first place. My son ran away and threatened to harm himself if he went with his father. I was told he was placed on a 72hr hold. I got cps involved and they lied to the cps worker saying my son never said those things and was never on the 72hr hold. Im beyond irritated with them. I will NOT be going back.

The weekend staff seemed a little overwhelmed, but they were kind. The weekday staff was helpful, welcoming, and fairly attentive to the patients. However, Im not sure what real help the program for seniors is.

Used to be decent but the new management has run this place into the ground. Seek other hospitals such as OLOP
