I have seen Dr. Gavino since he worked at another location and for another group. He became a part of Lakeway Dermatology and I cringed because it is about 45 minutes from my house. However, he is so encouraging and personable that it is worth the drive! He has treated my condition with much knowledge, due to his specialization, and has listened to me and adjusted to my specific needs, due to my food sensitivities. The staff has been friendly and helpful and I never spend more than a few minutes waiting. Now that they are in their new location, a castle-looking building, theyve made the inside castle -like as well. It has been a lot of fun to choose a big throne chair to wait in!!

Ive been going to Lakeway Dermatology for some time and seen two different doctors there. Both were good listeners, thorough and conscientious on the skin check. Admin and nursing staff were helpful, professional and capable. Dr. Cunningham saw me last time and did a minor procedure I needed. She and her nurse or P.A. (not sure which) did it masterfully, smoothly and quickly. I healed fast, got great follow up from them with regard to labs and just general, "How are you and how did we do?" Dr. Cunningham also referred me to another physician for a non-dermatology issue. He also turned out to be a great find. I couldnt be happier with my experience there.

This is only about the initial call to make an appointment. We I called I gave my information and then the lady put me on hold. It took awhile and when they came back it wasnt the same person and they had to get all my information again the same I have already gave them! This is rude! But the girl that took my info the second time was very nice. I just think that is not good customer service. Hopefully it goes well at the appointment. I just think they need the feedback! Im in business myself and we make mistake so I like feedback.

Dr. Cunningham is excellent. Professional, very thorough, but also gets her work done quickly without rushing. Beautiful office. Upon arriving, only a short wait. Non-emergency appointments are hard to get, so plan ahead. I have not had an emergency need, so dont know about scheduling those, but I think they would try to work you in.

Sadly, I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Gavino. On two separate occasions I received unnecessary shots into all the lesions on my body. This was very painful. The cost to my insurance must have been high too. Dr. Cunningham tested me and found the real cause.
