Courtesy: 0/10 Tact: 0/10 As a recent college graduate I went in with a minor skin issue. I dont have insurance so its something that bothered me. In the deliverance of the symptom the Doctor Lindsey Detwiler (worth mentioning her name) told me it was highly contagious (among other "scary" things) and will spread throughout the body and suggested a pricey option that will take care of what was happening. I was rushed to make a decision. She didnt give me options. I was also with my partner and the doctor disclosed my situation to them without asking me first. Scared, I chose to take the pricey option to get rid of the symptoms. I come home and look up the symptom (by the name the doctor called it). Its common. Goes away by it/themselves. Not highly contagious. Many over-the-counter treatments available. Doctor Lindsey Detwiler took advantage of a scared recent college graduate without insurance. Didnt take the time to ask if I had any questions and rushed me out of her office in less than twenty minutes when I paid $120+ for an hour of her time (just for the visit, separate from "treatment"). If the treatment worked I was going to leave the situation as it was and forget about it, but then I get a call saying that there was a " little error on the billing" and that I needed to pay more. No. No. No. Not happening.

As always a great experience. I was on the waiting list and got in the day after requesting. I sat in the waiting room for less than 2 minutes and saw Eryn McIntyre PA-C after just a couple more minutes. Again, she was great with me: very thorough checking things, asking questions and providing advice on things to try both as prescription and over the counter. Every time I go here the service is great and everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Im trying a sample for my perioral dermatitis that is a new product for treating rosacia and it seems to be working great. I really dig that she wanted me to try something new since the other things I have been using arent doing the job so well anymore and Im trying to avoid going on a 3 month long antibiotic. Highly recommend Evans and will continue to go here for all things skin related!

Well, I had INITIALLY been impressed with the office. First visit went well, Dr. Evans is one of the top psoriasis doctors in the country apparently. Got set up on self injections of 4x a year bc Im super uncomfortable doing self injections and this particular treatment has the least # of shots per year. Talked to Dr. Evans and he said that I could schedule to come in and have someone do the injection when I got the first one and see if I might be comfortable doing it on my own. Called back when I received it and tried to schedule to come in and was told that I can come in ONE TIME and that they can "train me" how to do it myself and then Im on my own. Said I can follow up with the Stelara company directly and see if they can help me. Ill get with Stelara myself and see what I can do and then Im shopping for a new dermatologist.

The office, as one walks in, is lovely. Clerical staff are responsive and friendly. The BIG one for me, though, was being attended by Erin McIntyre, and Nick, who were both competent and merciful. I also very much appreciated the conservative approach to my problem by Ms. McIntyre, then the careful follow up after the procedure, by Nick. As I expressed to "Nurse" this a.m. when I called for results on the biopsy, I couldnt have been better treated, or more kindly managed. THANK YOU, thank you, thank you. (Wish you had an office in western New York State.) Incidentally, having been unsuccessful in finding anyone to see me out here in the Big Bend area, I asked a friend in Austin if she knew of someone I could get in to see. She polled her friends and they recommended you folks.

I am really pleased with Evans Dermatology and have absolutely no complaints, which is a lot more than I can say about most doctors offices! I see Dr. Lindsey Detwiler every time. She is always super welcoming and makes me feel like she remembers me! A few months ago I had a suspicious mole removed and will now need to make routine visits. Dr. Detwiler helped me remain calm throughout the non-invasive procedure and I truly feel like she has my best interest in mind when recommending follow ups (if nothing looks worrisome after a second consecutive 6th month follow up I can go back to yearly check ups). The front office staff are also very kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. I had to call in my copay after my last appointment and it took me less than 5 minutes on the phone!

I was in the exam room in less than 5 minutes, and the doctor was there only moments after the young lady who confirmed my information left. Dr. McClung was a rave favorite of my late younger sister, who consistently praised her for her care in the several skin problems she faced. (My sister did not die of any skin-related problems.) I now know why Sis was so happy with her level of care. I often disagreed with my sister, but this is one area where we would have been in total accord. Even if there were a comparably competene dermatologist practicing right next door and giving the treatment away at a 100% discount, I would still go to Dr. McClung @ Evans Dermatology.

Dr McClung is the first doctor in a long time that has thoroughly impressed me. Everything from the check-in process to the after appointment phone call was 5 stars. Every single member of the staff that I encountered was helpful and knowledgable. When I called to clarify what Dr McClung told me during the visit, her nurse, Eli, actually answered the phone and my question. Literally a 2 minute conversation. I would highly recommend Dr McClung and this office to anyone. I read the reviews before I booked my visit and knew she had great reviews, but she still blew me away. Highly recommend!

I came because of great reviews and they didnt disappoint. Quick, friendly service across the board. I didnt have insurance so I needed to shop around, and they were the most affordable in town. They even worked a consultation and procedure in together so I could save on fees for the visit. Dr Colby Evans listened and explained everything very well. He answered several questions and didnt seem in a rush to head off to the next patient. Nurses and staff were friendly and on top of everything.

First time ever and the service was superior. I was impressed how big the office and the staff was, yet a very comfortable and relaxed setting. Just recently going to other offices, I had rude front desk service, but the staff at Evans on Brodie Lane were so awesome. Special thanks to Lindsey Detwiler, PA-C and her assistant Eli for such a great appointment and medical treatment experience. Definitely going back and so happy I found Evans Dermatology at Brodie Lane. Thanks again!

I was taken into the exam room shortly after arriving. A medical tech went over my history and my current issue. A few minutes later the PA came into the exam room. She examined my issue and made a diagnosis. I was given instructions. After lab results were reviewed by the PA, a prescription was sent to my pharmacy. The medications prescribed were very inexpensive. The instructions given were clear and easy to follow. All of the staff were friendly and efficient.
