Went in the 1st year they were open, and just saw this review site and felt compelled to add my own. I went in for an irritating rash that started spreading after several days. It wasnt looked at closely, and I was given a prescription for a cream. Felt like he was in a hurry and I I was being brushed off. Then was asked if I had considered botox treatments. It was an akward situation. While this could have been an off day, and only my first time at the office, I went back a week later for the same persistent condition, was offered a sample ointment and inquired if I was interested in other expensive treatments.

Steiner Ranch Dermatology is the best in the Austin area! Ive been to dermatologists for years and recently switched to Steiner Ranch. Dr. Lain is great to work with and has been incredibly responsive to all of my skin issues (aging, acne, spider veins). The staff there are all very nice and helpful, and even contacted Dr. Lain during his vacation when I had a question. The nurse helped out when my insurance wasnt going to cover my prescriptions and my out of pocket cost ended up at $5. I highly recommend Steiner Ranch for any dermatology needs.

Im a fair-skinned old guy who, unfortunately, has always spent way too much time in the sun without using sunscreen. Naturally, thats coming back into play as I age. Dr. Lain has been totally supportive and proactive in addressing my skin issues, prescribing treatment, and doing it with as little discomfort as possible. The entire staff at SRD should be commended for their collective people skills, too. Nice, comfortable practice. Highly recommended.

Steiner Ranch Dermatology made me want to input my very first review. I love this place! Dr. Lain and staff are very welcoming and helpful. His treatment plan is working out great for me and the Laser Tech Kayla is an awesome lady and pretty flexible too. I have never seen better results anywhere else I have been all my life for acne! Just be patient with them and hopefully you will get the results you want. Highly recommend.

Dr. Lain and his staff are very nice and laid back! I went to the Pflugerville location and the office is very nice. He removed a lump on my head and did a wonderful job! The only complaint i have is he said he would right me a particular mg of medication but did not follow through with that... Instead writing me a lower mg dose! But other then that his practice is great!

I wasnt a fan. Dr. Lain rushed us in and out. And my insurance didnt pay for the service after his staff told me the procedure would be covered.
