I broke my glasses and took them to Dr. Filchaks office today to have one of the lenses replaced. I was told that the replacement lens may have a different appearance than the original one. When I inquired as to whether or not this would be an obvious difference that would be noticeable without looking closely, I was told that they werent sure, probably not, but that I wouldnt have the option to return them if the difference was obvious and I was not happy with it. I was floored! These were a 700.00 pair of glasses that I purchased from Dr. Filchak less than one year ago. In the past I have been happy with my glasses purchased there and if I had a problem, the staff worked to resolve it. Today, that was NOT the case. I left with my broken glasses and will take them to another eye Dr. for repair.

Dr. Filchak was very friendly, and he seemed to perform a thorough eye exam. However, my contact prescription was wrong on the first 2 tries! This has never happened to me before. I did not want to purchase glasses using his prescription because I simply did not trust it. Also, the administrative staff leaves a lot to be desired---they never called to let me know my trial lenses were in (and insisted that they had called--the mistake MUST be mine!) Also, I was often made to wait for a long time at the front desk when I had a quick and simple request to be fulfilled--they could use some improvement in customer service and time management. The prices on glasses were outrageous, but in line with most eye shops. Dr. Filckak seems to be a nice guy, but Im not going back here.

I recently had a bad eye infection, called the office and he was able to see me immediately. This was at 5:00 on a Friday. Following week, Sat after Christmas, discovered my contact lens lost in my eye, could not find it. Did not think the office would be open since no other Dr.s office was open, but called at 8:30AM and was surprised they were and I was able to come right in. My lens somehow split in half in my eye and he was able to retrieve both pieces. This man has really been my savoir. The nicest man too! I would highly recommend Dr. Filchak! My whole family has been going to him for the last 12 years and I would never go elsewhere!

Dr Filchak and his whole staff were warm and welcoming. They guided me through the process of deciding on progressive lenses without feeling like I was being sold. After a week ( they did warn me ) of getting used to the new tri-focal progressives I have found that I really enjoy not having to reach for another pair of glasses just to work on my computer. I would recommend Dr Filchak for all your eyeware.

I had a situation where i wanted to try multifocal lens as i need them for far and near. Dr. Filchak was exceedingly patient as it took many fittings to get these to work right, and we finally figured out a solution that worked. I also had new glasses fitted and and an old pair of lens were replaced -! I was very happy with the service and whole staff and would highly recommend them all around!

100% TERRIFIC doctor who took a lot of quality time with me and I always appreciated his candor and honesty. Did NOT try and sell me a whole lot of stuff I didnt want. I merely went in for an eye exam and for contact lenses and he couldnt have been nicer.

I have been going to Dr. Filchak for nearly 20 years and now drive almost an hour to keep him as my eye Dr. The staff is always friendly and helpful and they have fixed my glasses more times than I care to admit that Ive broken them :)

I really like Dr. F and yiu get good care here. His staff is nice but a little pushy selling services and frames. As a private practice, expect very high prices on glasses and contacts. Ask for quotes first before buying anything.

As a long time customer, I have to say I am not satisfied. Some of the front desk people are very unfriendly. They also charge exceedly for fixing problems that was obviously due to bad quality of the product they sold.
