I went in to get my first eye exam in 6 years in the summer of 2008. You see, I was in denial. I thought, oh my vision isnt THAT bad... I dont want to end up wearing glasses all day!!! What about when I play sports? Do I have to be the nerdy girl with goggles? I was worried about my looks, and I was also worried that the process would be painful. I hate having my eyes messed with, and touching them gives me the creeps! I had put it off way too long though, and had to bite the bullet and go in because my vision was becoming unmanageable. The wonderful staff at Duvall Advanced Family Eye Care provided a solution for every one of my complaints, and totally eased my fears. Dr. Grimm was gentle and thorough, and his assistant was very helpful and sweet. She made me feel completely at ease throughout the whole process of the exam. Dr Grimm confirmed for me that I indeed needed a prescription for glasses during the day and he also suggested that I try soft 1 day disposable lenses for sports, that way I wouldn’t end up being the one with goggles on. I told him contacts were not an option for me due to my squeamish nature, but he assured me that his staff would be able to teach me how to use the contacts painlessly, and he would even provide me with a free fitting and a few weeks worth of lenses so I could try it out. When it came time to pick out my frames Cathy was extremely helpful! She really took the time to listen to all of my concerns and was genuinely interested in helping me get the perfect frames to go with my face. I can’t believe I’m saying this… but I really do look better with glasses! I love the pair she helped me pick out! The technicians at this clinic were so patient with me in helping me to not only fit my glasses, but also teaching me how to use my new contact lenses. They even took extra time with me and let me come in for a few more practice tries on the weekend. I’ve had a few problems with my lenses as well, and Cathy has let me come in free of charge to fix them. She tightens the screws on the frames whenever I need it, and always makes time for me. One time my lens popped out of my frames, naturally I called her and she had me come in right away. She ended up sending my glasses off for repair and assured me that they would be covered under warranty. I never had to pay a dime and I got them back within a week! They have been able to answer every question I’ve had and provide a solution to all of my eye care needs. In all of my dealings with this clinic, 1 thing is apparent: The patient is their #1 priority. I will never go anywhere else for my eye care.

My wife & I have been going to Duvall Advanced Family Eyecare pretty much since they opened, about ten years ago. Their level of service has always been exemplary, and I wish more businesses were this thorough. They are very efficient at getting you through an appointment, and you rarely have to wait more than a few minutes to get going. The doctors Grimm are always very willing to answer questions and theyre both very genial and accommodating even when they have many more patients to see. The opticians, Cathy & Jeff, have always been great to work with and both have gone out of their way to ensure weve gotten the right lenses, within our budget and occasionally within time constraints (leaving for a trip overseas). The entire staff goes out of their way to ensure your visit is handled efficiently and in a friendly manner. Highly recommended.

I saw Dr Suzan Grimm for my first eye care appointment since moving to Duvall last year, and am so glad I chose her! She was very personable, professional and helpful. I usually dislike transitioning to a new provider because it is often quite a search before you can find the right fit, but I will be looking no further. My exam was thorough, everything was explained to me in terms that were easy to understand and I felt well cared for from the assistant who did eye testing to the optician who helped me choose my new frames. I am very satisfied and highly recommend Duvall Advanced Family Eyecare.

I have been going to Duval Advanced Family Eyecare since Dec 2006. Got glasses for my 49th birthday. Almost made till 50 without the need for glasses! The Drs are very friendly and easy to talk to. They take the time to listen and really seem to care about their patients. All of the staff are equally as friendly and helpfull. Jeff helped me pick out my glasses and I must say he did a great job at picking a pair that is right for me. I have had the same frames since Dec 2006, and still get compliments on them often. I will continue to trust my eyes to the Duvall Advanced Family Eye Clinic.

We feel we get the best possible care from the Grimms. We were so impressed by their state of the art clinic and highly skilled staff. It seems like every year they have added new high tech diagnostic equipment and of course have taken more classes in the latest in ocular treatment. The staff is very helpful and capable. It is obvious they enjoy their jobs and helping clients get the best care. We like it so much we come from West Seattle to the Duvall clinic.

The most up-to-date eye examination that I have ever had at an optometrists office. Dr. Suzan Grimm is very thorough, attentive and informative. She is quick to answer your questions and provides excellent service. The optometric staff are courteous and customer friendly. Plus, the office provides a comprehensive selection of eye wear and professional assistance with any eye wear questions. Thanks for your excellent services!

Great eye practice with friendly staff and wonderful customer service! Dr. Sarah Low helped me with a painful eye issue on the weekend, even though I was not registered yet as a patient , being new to the area. I had a followup appt as well, and I found all the staff to be very professional and friendly. Will definitely go back for my regular annual eye appt.

I had a very pleasant experience at this facility. They were very professional and have a top notch facility. They did tests that I have never heard of before. After being told that my prescription hadnt changed (but my vision was getting worse) they did testing that led them to update my script and now I can see perfectly. Thanks Duvall eyecare.

Excellent service and care! Friendly office staff, and warm, knowledgeable doctors who take the time to answer all of your questions. My daughters and I had a great experience. (It was their first comprehensive exam, and I had to get reading glasses.) Great selection of frames, and help choosing them. Easy to make appointments, too.
