Ive been a patient of Dr. Alibhai for over 10 years now. During every visit, she has spent more than twice the amount of time with me compared to any other doctor Ive had. Shes meticulous in gathering her patient histories, performing her examinations and ensuring that any concerns or questions I have are thoroughly addressed. She sets the gold standard for patient care and "bedside" manner as far as Im concerned. Her experience is nothing to sneeze at either. She can fill hours talking about so many interesting cases shes dealt with - especially in humanitarian work settings in far flung countries with barely any tools. If anything is weird, chances are shes seen it before and has a great network of doctors to refer to if its beyond what an optometrist can take care of. Once I found out that a doctor she referred me to was literally the best in the region - and I was seen the same day! With her brand new office conveniently located in the new Redmond Costco, things are even better - the office and equipment are all brand new and the latest in billing and payment are all there. Best of all, since that Costco is pretty new, its not a complete zoo - getting appointments is easy and Im not having to park in Timbuktu. You dont have to be a Costco member to get an exam with Dr. Alibhai, but for members, the optical center was super efficient in both cost and time in filling my contact lens prescription! Cheers to the one doctor I truly look forward to seeing!

It was my first visit to Special Eyes. Dr. Alibhai is the best Optometrist Ive come across over the years. She runs a very patient friendly and professional operation. She takes time to be detailed in sharing relevant information. After this experience, I will not be looking to another Optometrist any time soon. I highly recommend Special Eyes.

They have a great staff and comprehensive service at half the price to the surrounding places. And although inside Costco, you dont have to be a Costco member to take advantage of the price saving. They are open to all patients.
