I called and left a message about getting my cat spayed. I received a return call within a day. While the clinic was very full, and I had to wait a few weeks to get the appointment, it was worth the wait. The facilities are clean and organized. The staff werent bending over backwards to be overly friendly, but they did their jobs efficiently. The vet. was very kind and gave my cat a thorough evaluation before taking her into surgery. In addition, they only made a small incision. After the surgery, the vet. explained everything to look out for clearly and gave me information to read. Overall, it was a good experience. If it werent for their affordable prices, we wouldnt have been able to get our cat spayed. (It costs over $350.00 at most other vets in the area.) I would definitely recommend the Fox Memorial Clinic.

the day before yesterday i had called the clinic to make an appointment for my dog whom has blood in his urine, the girl told me to come in tomorrow before 12pm because they are seeing animals without appointments in the morning. I got there coming all the way from Shelton at 11:15am. The girl at the desk said they cannot help me that they are full for the day and gave me an appointment for May 31st. She didnt even lift herself off the chair to ask the doctors in the back if they can see my little guy. i told him her problem and she said well Im sorry cant do it... So much for the caring loving place you can adopt and get medical attention for your dogs and cats. .I give this place not even one star because of the person who helped me at the window.

Today I had to put down one of my best friends. My girl Effie was a 20 year old feisty, tuxedo cat that we rescued when she was three months old. This morning she just didnt look right and after years of dealing with multiple upper respiratory infections we decided it was time. I was not in my right mind, I was beside myself and the staff at Fox Memorial Clinic were so kind and careful with not only Effie but also they were so kind to me. I dont think Ive ever dealt with a team as good as this one, from the woman at the front desk to the vets. I have no plans to ever get another pet but if I do I will be bringing them to Fox Memorial, they are an amazing group of people!

I made an appointment for my dog to go for a check up prior to being neutered I made the appointment in November and since they were booked he couldnt get a check up until may. So less than a week before his physical they call me to tell me that they are canceling his appt due to them being overbooked for surgery way into November ! I feel like they wasted my time waiting all these months and only letting me know less than a week before his appt they need a better system now I have to search for another place and hopefully it isnt a waiting game !

Fox Memorial Clinic treated my dog Harley, and myself with the upmost care. They are wonderful people, the staff was fabulous. Dr. Frost, is the best that ever! I wish I could go to them for myself, thats how awesome they are! My dog Harley means the world to me and I dont trust him with anyone, I would trust them again was my dog Harley and a heartbeat. They did a fabulous job on his surgery. I have one more surgery to go for his other leg, and they will be doing that surgery as well. Again they are fabulous people. Harley and Julie Amero

Redefining the term "Bait and switch" on the veterinarian level. The automated phone directory states "WALK IN AVAILABLE ON WEDNESDAYS". When you walk in: "We stop doing walk in services, you have to fill out an emergency service form." Ive heard the SAME pre-recorded directory for 4 years. Doesnt anyone there think its time to fix that instead of baiting pet owners to bring their animal in need there only to switch it on them and force them into an emergency form? Save your pet the trip, go some where else.

They do have terrible customer service at the front desk. Mostly because they dont pay someone to stay there. Its more, "hey intern! get the phone!" style. As far as the vets go, Ive had no problems whatsoever. My dog was spayed there and the procedure went fine. If you want high quality customer service, pay the money and go somewhere else. I cant afford to go somewhere else so im content.

Nothing bad to say ... it was cheaper here than going any where else and when I had to pick up hazel my cat up after getting fix ,the veterinarian explained what to do and was very sweet and answered all our questions an they called to check up on him which was nice . Would definitely come back and will be letting my friends and family know where to go

I had a great experience with getting my dog neutered. Not only was it significantly cheaper than my vet ($300 cheaper), I got a photo of him texted to me shortly after he woke up to tell me he was ok. They called me a few days later to check on him and see if I had any questions and to see how he was doing. I would definitely go back!

They have the WORST phone call system ever, I can never get connected with a live person, I end up getting transferred to the front desk of the humane society, and they put me on hold to connect me right back where i started. I end up getting so fed up that I just drive up there to speak to one of the girls at the front desk.

Awful customer service. Impossible to get someone on the phone and I get the feeling they can give a damn about the negligence they displayed in not sending out the prescription that my cat needs to get his medication. Pay the extra money and go somewhere else where you will get good customer service and quality care.

I called them 4 times since last week and everytime it was the answering machine. They promised to call back within 2 business days but no calls come in at all. Update: I called one more time just now and got to speak with a representative - not answering machine anymore! Finally got the appointment set up.

Dont do it! After you consider your time and frustration, plus all of the additional costs you are MUCH BETTER OFF AT YOUR REGULAR VET! Im too upset to go into the rest of the story right now. What happened today was ridiculous. No, I am not over reacting.
