Animal hospital of Padre Island is without reservation the most professional and ethically sound animal medical origination here in Corpus Christi. If you live down town this practice is more than worth the drive. Dr. Kresser leadership is second to none, reminiscent of those I have encountered in aviation. She knows her profession and implements flawlessly. Her staff is compassionate while remaining impeccably clear minded and competent. Those on here with negative reviews are anecdotal at best with many variables to be considered and subject to much scrutiny. You can quibble over price for various procedures but the ultimate value is unparalleled. If you have any concerns, speak with the Doc first hand and judge for yourself. I had just moved to the area, and my two little guys (maltese yorkie mixes) were in dire need of a hair cut. My neighbour recommended that I use the groomer at Animal Hospital of Padre Island. They were able to get us in immediately and did a fantastic job with the grooming. The groomer gave my dogs the precise haircut that I wanted. They were finished with the both of them within a few hours. When I picked my morkies up, they were happy and running around. They were also much more reasonably priced compared to Petsmart, Petco and other groomers.

Wish I could rate lower. The Vet in veterinary doctor us never there. My dog had surgery. They provudex/ charged for a cone that was too small. We asked for larger one and were told they didnt have. Had to spend more $$ on one at pet smart. Now we are 4 days post open and looks like the surgical site (left eye) is infected. Called to get care and its Friday at noon. No Doc til Monday Morning. So....we were referred to vet ER. Will NOT go back and do not recommend.

I have two dogs, both boys and they are my everything! Dr. Kresser and her staff are wonderful to my boys. They love them like their own, treat them so wonderfully and always make us feel so welcome. Each experience with Dr Kresser and her staff is so amazing! The way they treat my boys, Jax and Gumbo, is beyond nice. My Dogs look forward to check ups and are always so excited to see everyone there and no one is shy when it comes to puppy dog kisses!! Love! I have never trusted a Veterinarian so much in my life. Dr. Kresser treats my dogs as if they were her own. Her staff is knowledgeable and caring. My dogs will never go any other place! I now have my youngest dog in training at Dr. Kressers. The trainer Claire has totally changed her behavior. ❤️

Very poor service. My dog did get better but so many unnecessary charges were made. They told me they could work with me on the price and they didnt, and on top of that they forgot to give us the medications for my dog. Waste of gas and money!!!
