I was medically unnecissarily, and without having signed HIPPA forms, thus illegally, shipped a long distance to Madden, to a lunetic psychiatrist named Humaira Saiyed. Saiyed had me illegally shipped to her, based upon a "medically clear" diagnosis at another hospital, so she could try to cover up crimes she and her partner committed against me in 2006. Her partner in crime, Dr. V R Kuchipudi, has now been arrested by the FBI, and convicted, for having lots of patients medically unnecessarily shipped long distances to himself, "snowing" patients, and then performing unneeded tracheotomies on patients for profit. Saiyed force medicated me, despite that fact I told her I was allergic to her drugs, and it was against my religion to take them. The other staff, thankfully, confessed theyd never seen such an extremely adverse reaction to a neuroleptic before, so I was not forced to continue on that drug class. However, I was then forced to take a powerful and dangerous anthrax drug, known to cause psychosis, for a just proven, non-existent UTI. Thankfully, since that drug made my heart feel like it was going to stop, I was only forced to take that drug for two days. I do hope Madden rethinks the wisdom of employing criminal doctors, who force medicate healthy people for profit.

If only I could rate this place 1/2 a star this is one of the worst facilities I have ever set foot on. The more I get to know the staff, and how corrupted this place is makes me want to vommit. My sister is a patient here and she is getting the complete wrong medication! The psychiatrist is treating them like guinie pigs, they give them which ever meds they want not what is right for them. On top of that the doctor or social workers never want to speak to the patients family after signing the consent form. They either NEVER answer the phone of they say they are busy. Horrible place to put your love one in. Keep them at home rather than here I promise you as soon as u place them here you will want to take them back out right away. This place is disgusting and should seriously be shut down a bunch of worthless staff, nurses, and doctors who dont give a dam about their patients.

Madden is a state facility that provides care to those in crisis with mental illness. Many patients are not ill, but are drug addicted. The ward I was on was dirty and unsanitary, or bathroom smelled like urine , etc.the patients fought physically and even attacked staff. Psychotic patients wandered around dazed and confused and the techs did not help them in any way as they were too busy talking on their cell phones. The food was mainly cold cuts and beans or hot dogs with kool aid. The staff is very rude and uncaring and they laugh at the very sick patients. The social workers are overworked and dont have time for you. The doctors are ok but I would say if you or a loved one has to go for psych treatment, go to a hospital on the North Side of Chicago and they will send them to Read which is a much better facility.

I have a friend here and please if you are reading this please do not put yourself or loved one here. This place is the most disgusting corrupt building. The only people presiding over the patients are nurses and they have no idea what the doctors name even is. This place is a typical excuse for a psychiatric facility first thing they do is slap drugs on the problem which is so unprofessional .. how are you going to administer medication if you havent even evaluated the patient properly. I tried calling people in charge his social worker to see if there was any way to let him leave early that place IS insanity.. and his social worker said once he is there he has to run the course only people that can let him out are his presiding physicians and I cant seem to get a hold of them. Worst place Ive ever set foot in.

My name is Zachary Frierson. This place is awful. I was place here under the care of a physician that gave me medications that affected my sexual drive function. He lied to me and said it would go away in a few months, etc etc. Instead of prescribing me something that could actually help with my sexual drive function. He is another uncaring psychiatrist that needs to be put into jail.

Place truly is not a help. I was there once for 3 days and I am thankful every day I got our of there. I am grateful. I do however feel ashamed that I ever got myself into the situation of being there in the first place. I feel sorry for the people with deep mental conditions that are there. They are not being taken care of there. They just drug them up with Haldol!!

Every staff member that contacted me was very professional and understanding and that was the hierchy staff members. From the front desk clerk to the Security Guard they were all rude and nasty. No one should be treated in the manner of which they are treated in this facility especially if they were wrongly accused.
