I firmly believe in letting people know when they have done an OUTSTANDING job. Randy Wall did just that this afternoon! First of all, my best friend called Covenant Care with chest pains. She was immediately given an appointment for half an hour later. No, "Go to the ER and wait 4 hours." Thank you, kind women at the desk! When we got there, we were delighted to see Randy Wall, whom both of us had loved at Dr. Maccarones office. He has always been kind, caring, professional, helpful. Today, he was all of those things and even more. 1. He was concerned as he listened to her symptoms. 2. Within 10 minutes, he had an EKG performed. The nurse was especially kind and understanding as she performed it. 3. Dr. West stopped by to check on the situation. 4. Randy had an x-ray taken of her chest and ruled out congestive heart failure (which she had had before). 5. For his and her "peace of mind", he sent her to Gateway for lab work, since the lab at the office was already closed. 6. He gave explicit directions on what we should do. He got my cell phone number. He told me to call 40 minutes after the blood was taken and they would be looking for the results. He said to stay there in case she needed to be admitted after he saw the results. 7. Thirty minutes after the blood was taken, he called me and told me he had the results. Her sodium was low and he explained what we needed to do about it, and then to go to the ER if she got worse. 8. He later left me a voice mail to re-emphasize what needed to be done. NEVER in my 65 years of living have I had more efficient, more concerned, more amazing help from a medical professional!!! Thank you, Randy Wall!!! Thank you, Dr. West or Dr. Boles, for hiring him! Please, please, please keep Randy Wall at Covenant Care! With gratitude, Irene Gudgeon

Ever since I moved to Clarksville (about 5 years ago) I have been visiting Covenant Care. It was recommended to me by a stranger who had been talking to someone else. I overheard the conversation and asked about Covenant Care. I have been very pleased with the care provided to me by Dr.West. He has helped me keep my Diabetes under control and as some medications were found to be potentially dangerous Dr.West was able to change my medications to different ones to continue helping me stay under control. In this manner I have gone away from Avandia and Actos which were able to control my numbers but had some potential side effects that were of concern. Currently we are trying Januvia. The Doctor mentioned that it was an older drug and probably more challenging from the stand point of my following a more strict diet regime. This has encouraged me to redouble my efforts to loose more weight to minimize the need for these types of drugs. I am 71 years old and I appreciate the fact that Dr.West treats me as an adult and does not "sugar coat" (pun intended) his advice. This helps me to stay focused in maintaining a better diet and exercise regime to improve my quality of life. I consider him a friend and a coach in working towards my best long term health outcome.

Dr. Mitchum has given me the best care of my life. Every person at the Covenant Care in Erin is also friendly and helpful, never inflicting ridicule upon me, at least not to my face. Tonya has been very good about not cussing me for changing my appointment times. I never feel rushed, and Dr. Mitchum takes the time needed to try and correct the years of abuse that I have inflicted upon my body. If I would follow her instructions fully, I would be the picture of health. She is constantly making improvements on me, and someday I will die a healthy man! Just went back again last week, and my health is still improving, thanks to the excellent care of Dr. Mitchum and the staff. She is a miracle worker. If you are ailing, just come by and touch the hem of her garment to be cured! Well, maybe not quite that good, but she knows what she is doing, and takes the time necessary to see that her patients get the best care possible. Jeff Quinn

Not impressed. The staff was rude and not particularly helpful. Even as I was lead back to consult with the nurse practitioner, I was given a look that seemed to suggest I was intruding. The nurse practitioner then suggested that my behavior was indicative of drug-seeking or doctor shopping. The fact was that I was indeed seeking drugs, for Bi-Polar, as was recommended to me by my therapist. The drugs that my therapist recommended were not narcotics. When I got upset over the condescension, I was insulted, told that I had delusions of grandeur because I questioned the nurses bed-side manner. The prescription was granted, reluctantly, and I was quickly rushed out the door. I should mention that I was experiencing suicidal ideation during this time. Needless to say I will not be returning. I was hurt by the experience.

Yesterday I saw Dr. Patricia Mitchum for my routine visit (as required for prescription maintenance.) I probably would not go to a doctor were it not necessary in order to keep receiving my allergy medications, but I was glad I went in. As always, Dr. Mitchum took the time to review my whole file and to ask about previous needs as well as new ones. I had a chance to ask questions that had nagged at me. I feel confident now that everything reasonably possible is being done by my primary care physician - and me - to keep this patient in good health as the years go by. Dr. Mitchum is a gracious, friendly person, and combines medical know-how with a common sense perspective. She provides choices on how to proceed and offers less invasive alternatives whenever possible. I actually enjoyed the visit.

This is the best health care provider I have ever seen. I would refer these Super health care providers to anyone who is truly in need of a great health care provider. They beat the daylights out of the competition here around Clarksville, Tn, with courteous and personalized service. Wait time is minimal , I normally am in and out of covenant care in less than 30 minutes, and they will work you in also. as compared to 4 to 5 hour waits at Dr. Mccarrones office who is lousy with records. , they are not Quacks either, so if you are a druggie, dont waste their time. Give CovenantCare a try. Dr West and PA Katherine Scoville are Excellent Providers!!!!!!!!!!!!.
