Was there last night after 4 consecutive days of symptoms caused by being out of the country and unable to see my regular doctor. (Note. I have been there before)Anyhow last night I was attended by Colleen Keleher. They asked me for urine example and despite me telling them I had two days without eating or Drinking they seemed to not realized I couldnt give them more than the drops I did. Second after they got some results with the urine she returns and tells me you should go the the ER, I asked why she said maybe you need IV and I said why not here and she deny they do the service there when just a few weeks ago my husband was there with an IV she change her story and said my boss doesnt allow it. She than pulled a a flyer and said I cant help you here you have abdominal pain thats an ER matter. I told her I also have this and that and so on and 2 hours later you are telling me this. She than tells me there is blood in or urine are you on your period I said I answer you that before she said it can be a kidney stone or infection so do you want to go the hospital or home with meds. I told her arent you the professional. I said you are not even clear what I have at moments you tell me one thing than another and cant conclude. I asked her if she was scare to treat me because I had been out of the country? She es just shaking (note the first time she enter she cover herself up with protective wear she was dumb enough not to do so the second time!!) she said bring your husband in maybe he will understand me I told her than you know I am in the medical field he is in construction and it is two different worlds. I am sure I would understand you if you explain to me I am not naive. She walked out and told me I am calling your primary provider!!! Are you damn serious like if I was in trouble. Is sad they can trust the place with a so called md who cant educate the patients. In the end I was D.C. With Antibiotics for a travelers virus. What a damn joke!!!

We took our 14 year old son there in November of 2014. Payment of $160.00 was taken before he was allowed to see a doctor, which is expected. We were told that the $160.00 was an initial down payment and would be adjusted after service. After he saw the doctor we asked if there was a balance to settle, to which the staff (nurse and front desk person) both said: "No, you are all set". Imagine our surprise when 3 weeks later a bill arrives asking for an additional $161.00. When we called the billing phone number a very rude, although disinterested might be a better word, lady answered and told us that we had to pay additionally and that we were clearly advised that the initial payment was only an estimate. She then said that see did see the $160.00 and a new bill would be issued... A new bill WAS ISSUED, this time for $107.55 for lab work..... No matter that we asked if we had to pay for anything else and were told no.... I dont want to bore you with details, but suffice it to say that this is still not settled. We ended up paying the lab fee and received another doctor bill for $161.00.... If you want good service, do not go to this facility. There is a perfectly good facility not 1/4 mile from there (strip mall where Blockbuster used to be) that I visited last month and I paid $65.00 and have not had any billing issues with them. Dont walk, RUN away from this (Loyola) place....

WHY ARE LOYOLA NURSES ALWAYS SO RUDE? Went in for a bad spider bite and a 101 fever. Nurse asked me what Im taking for a fever and I said nothing, unless it gets to 102 or so. Been doing this for 30 years, and I get over colds and flus in half the time as people I know who take something for a fever/get antibiotics for every sniffle. Fever is an immune response, and taking meds to reduce a fever thats not dangerously high is counter active to your immune system. She said there was absolutely no truth to that at all in the typical snotty rude way Loyola nurses talk to their patients. Really lady? Go onto Loyola web portal and do a search on fever. Loyola own health info portal says the EXACT same thing as she refuted as false. Jerks. Thats why I dont go to the doctor unless Im feeling terrible. Theyre usually useless. The hospital is just as bad.

I was just here this morning after my 3-year-old ran headfirst into a rocking horse and needed to be stitched/glued up. I cannot recommend this place enough. If they had more stars, I would give them. Ill be honest - I tend not to go to urgent care unless Im really sure I have to because Ive had such mixed experiences - long waits, abrupt doctors, etc. Everyone there was very polite, patient, understanding - from the check in through the nursess and doctors visits. Even though it looked really crowded when I got there, we waited no more than 10 minutes. They gave my daughter graham crackers and a lollipop to help make the process easier for her - they even put on her favorite cartoon to help keep her mind off of things while they were gluing up her cut. A truly awesome experience despite the unfortunate circumstances.

What a strange experience we are not used to with service from Loyola. Very long wait times because they are perpetually understaffed. Nurse and doctor were both very unpleasant. The nurse would only let 1 person in the room which is not their official policy. My 5 year old daughter had fallen and split her head open. We waited almost 2 hours to see the doctor. Then they put in 3 staples and one of them is sticking out and not even put in correctly. Then to top it all off, they sent us home without a note for school about gym class. Very poorly run facility at times like last night! Patients beware, you might actually be better off going to the ER at the hospital instead! When they are not so busy they are much more professional than they were last night. Will consider alternate options in the future.

I just went there this morning and i love the atention i always had but today this old lady was really mean and she sound racist my daugther asked her for a sticker and she coudlnt understand that well my daughter first language is spanish and i told her she is just learning english right now her answer was "well everyone needs to speak english we are in america" i told her i agree but i think people who speak two or more language have more oportunities and i want my daugther to be one of those persones. She had an acttitud and i didnt like her at all from all this other nurses that they are so nice exept for her, and i know her name, when i go i wont let her take care of me and my kids.

I was concerned that my bill would be expensive, so I confirmed with the attendant at the front desk what my bill would be over the phone before coming in. She said that it would be a single bill, normally covered 80-100% by insurance. When I went in for service, I asked again - are you SURE about this, given the reviews on Yelp? She assured me. So then I received two bills totaling $692. And my insurance paid about half, leaving me with over $300 out of pocket. They really need to do something about these bills. As for the service by Colleen and staff, they were wonderful. But just cannot deal with these high payments, especially given that I asked twice to make sure.
