I took my 4 month old Yorkshire Terrier to this Vet yesterday and experienced the worst ever!!! I came here for the 1st time because I was scared because my dog had a Abscess at that time I didnt know what he has I thought it was maybe a tumor ready to explode . So I went I filled out the a paper while waiting some how the doctor ended up letting a sick cat escape and run out to the waiting room and didnt even come out to run after it his assistant came and got the cat who almost jumped on me as he tried to catch it. After that we were called into the room , when the doctor looked at my dog he took his Temp it was 104 looked at the lump and said oh my this dog is going to need surgery as squeezed it , he said the dog can die if we dont check out what this is , he said let me check on the computer what needs to be done and how much it will be , he went and came back with a list that the total was $435 I was like woah but I paid it because I was scared for this dogs life .. He told me he will Keep the dog and call me back in about 2 hours to let me know what he had and how much the surgery will cost .. At this point I was blank just said okay to everything not thinking then I called a licensed Vet from where I purchased the dog from explained everything and was very upset that I was basically ROBBED for my money they over charged me .. The Doctor called me back 30 mins to 1 hour later to tell me the doc has a Abcesses and will cost $450 to sedate him and drain it out .. At that point I said No that I will call him back I called the shop back and told them again couldnt believe that The DR told me it cost that much to remove that because shes in the field they never charge $450 to drain out a Abscesses nor does a 3 pound puppy have to be sedated 2 times in a day .. I called by and told his receptionist no I was going to pick him up she said "are you sure because the shop you purchased the dog from said if I send them the diagnostic paper they will help you pay " I said no its okay Ill pick him up. After speaking to them it to me about 20 mins to get to the Vet I went spoke to the Vet Dr he showed me the 2 X rays and blood work and told me that hes giving me Clavamox to treat him..then he comes out with the dog so dirty full of pus all wet and I asked him wow why is he all wet he said yeah it was leaking I looked the dog didnt have the abscesses anymore and was all Germy wet with pus I told him I didnt have a cage or nothing with me I came holding him he didnt offer a glove tissue nothing I took the dog and left after I noticed they never gave me a Diganostic paper nor did he clean my dog , thats when everything started to hit me I wasnt in the blind spot no more even after speaking to the other Vet shop she opened my eyes that I was Robbed for my money , I paid $435 for nothing and the worst part is the Vet wanted me to pay $450 for a abscesses that was already popped and didnt even tell me it popped.. Please if its your first time having a dog or cat dont bring them here they will try to get you for your money act like they want to help but will get you I will stay away from this Vet Ill never come here again !!!

I went to this vet once, my puppy was sick so I took him here. Anyways the vet took care of my puppy very well but his secretary was just so rude as if she was annoyed by being there . Im paying 130 the least you can do is be polite to the people that come in there like she really lacked communication skills. Then the vet tells me bring your dog back in a week to get his first series of shots so I call that next Saturday because that was the day I was off I called to see if they were open she picks up the phone I dont know if it was the same secretary but they pick up tell me that they are open till 5 but the vet had left at 1 then she continues to tell me that I can bring my puppy in Monday thru Friday 9 to 5, I asked her do I need an appointment she said no to just come in at ANYTIME !!! So I take off work Monday I tell my husband to call them then she tells my husband there was no availability that my dog wouldnt be seen ! So I call and she had the nerve to have a attitude I had to give her an attitude back for her to magically find a open slot for my dog because I asked if I needed an appointment and I was told no but overall I didnt even go in I found a vet where I saved 40 dollars for them to do the same thing this office was gonna do ! Overall I hope the owner of this place sees this and at least cares to get his staff in check ! My aunt goes here and this was the only place she knew of and she always complains about the girl too ! Youre sitting at a desk off your feet BE NICER !

This is the worst vet I had the misfortune of meeting. Dont expect to go there without being charged at least $500. He will find all types of unneccessary tests just to arrive at a wrong diagnosis. He charged about $700 for x-rays and tests to find out why my Dachshund was in pain. He concluded that it needed back surgery! After taking my dog to see another veterinarian, she looked at the same x-rays and said its didnt show any signs that my dog needed back surgery. Not only that, another vet informed me that you should never take an x-ray of a dashound when they are in pain since it can result in a false-positive. The other vet just prescribed some pain killers for a few days and my dashound was better in a few days without any need of surgery! Not only does this vet charge absurd prices( 4-5-6 times the prices other vets charge, one simple visit resulting in hundreds of dollars), he also does not know what he is doing from my experience. And the girl in the front is very rude, she seemed like I was annoying her when I tried to ask questions. I think this place is a total SCAM. Please pet owners, save your money and your pets and your sanity, go to another vet. I recommend the West Orange Animal Hospital, they are nice, much much better prices, and more knowledgable in what they are doing.

***AVOID THIS VET*** ***SCAM ALERT**** I went there back in October 2016 because my dog had a rash on his nose. The doctor took a sample of the scam and said he was going to send it out to the lab to see if its cancerous. I returned to the vet today March 28, 2017 for a checkup and asked the doctor if he had the results back from the scab he sent out to the lab. He responded "Im going to check in the back in your dogs records". He returned later on saying he took the scab off of my dogs nose so it could heal up and told me he never promised to send anything out. After he said that I noticed how incompetent this doctor is and i decided to just leave and go back to my old doctor. I advise anyone with a beloved pet to AVOID THIS PLACE at any cost. My dog could have had cancer and because of the doctors incompetence, I wouldnt know. Also on top of this he tried to charge me $400 dollars!!! This is absurd! I didnt leave until I got a detailed description of what I was paying for and only wounded up paying $80. This place is a TOTAL SCAM!!! ***AVOID** ***AVOID***
