ANNALISA, the front desk person was completely rude to me! All because it was HER job to take a down payment before I left the hospital, which i was unaware of, yet she let me walk out without paying the deposit. She called 30 minutes later to harrass me for the payment and threatened that all medical care would cease until I paid the deposit. When I went back to pick up my cat, she made threatening comments toward me by saying I should be careful if I pay my bill with cash because I dont know who may be watching me! And THEN said that the birthmark/mole on my face looked like a bug! She is completely rude, disrespectful and made me feel completely threatened and then had the nerve to insult me. She referred to my pet as "the cat" instead of calling her by her name, all while my cat is being diagnosed with heart failure. This is clearly not the profession for her seeing that she has no empathy or compassion for others....and to think I left my cat there for 5 hours with her in the same building. Luckily the rest of the staff are so wonderful. Its unfortunate this bad apple has spoiled the bunch. Sadly this establishment has lost my business. I refuse to deal with a disgusting human being like that. She should really be ashamed of herself especially since shes old enough to know better...

Dr Cuccio for over a year diagnosed my Husky with a skin rash, ear infection. We repeatedly kept taking her back to him because her condition was not getting any better but getting worse with the treatments he gave her. He took her bloodwork and all further testing to see what was wrong with her and he could not figure out what was wrong with her. Trusting Dr. Cuccio we listened to his expertise for years and by the time we took her to another vet it was too late , our dog was suffering from diabetes and cancer, the medications Dr Cuccio prescribed was making her condition worse and now yesterday she took her last breathe at age 8. I took her to a vet in NYC and they knew with one look they knew what was wrong and then took testing to confirm. By the time I took her to someone with real veterinary knowledge it was too late. I did not know she was sick I thought she had a skin rash and allergies as Dr Cuccio diagnosed. Please I would not recommend this Veterinary office to anyone and wanted to share my experience so hopefully I can save another dogs life. I would do anything to have my dog back. All the money I spent at this office and they did not treat her correctly. If I only knew sooner and could have given her the correct treatment she would still be here today.

I was referred here for a dental surgery on my dog. She broke a molar and needed to have it removed. I was a little nervous, but Dr. Cuccio and the techs were all very nice and made sure to describe the procedure and answer my question, even though Im not a regular at their practice. The cost was reasonable/average and I really liked that the doctor was willing to give me an estimate over the phone first- a lot of vets arent willing to do that and I appreciated that I could save time like this instead of having to bring her in, have her examined, then bring her in again another day for a surgery. This way I was just able to bring her in once for the surgery, and then pick her up later. The other doctor (whose name Ive forgotten) was also very detailed in describing after-care instructions and what to expect. I got the feeling that everyone actually cared about my dog, which is always nice. Her mouth has healed perfectly and there were no complications at all. Its a bit farther from my house but I would definitely consider bringing my animals here for future surgeries or if my regular vet is not available.

Ive possibly had the worst experience here at this vet. My dog still to this day is not heal. Ive wasted over 1000 dollars. At this place and for them to tell me nothing that theres nothing to be done. Ive called and complain to the avma. I got charged for Everything prior to my dog even coming in. And got called for more money which I was gonna pay when I get there. But when I got there she wasnt ready and they said they werent gonna touch her till the money was paid.which they left my dog in a cage for more than 8 hours. And still wasnt touched til I got there. The place is horribly taken care of. The receptionist is very rude. Having a dog is like having child and they made me like my dog was just not in good hands. Now she has the biggest rash on her leg because they decide to just wrap her leg up. On top of the rash and its more. Ill never take her back.

I cant say enough wonderful things about Dr. Cuccio and Dr. Markos. I have been going to them for years with all of my beloved pets and they have always been given excellent care. One of my dogs became sick unexpectedly and passed away very suddenly. They did everything they possibly could to save her but there was nothing they could do to save her. They also did everything they could for me as a grieving pet owner. My new 1 1/2 year old pup needed major surgery to correct her hip dysplasia. It has now been 8 months since her surgery and she is running and jumping just like a 2 year old pup should. Thank you to both doctors and the whole staff!

Dr. Cuccio and Dr. Markos are excellent with my adopted dog, Pete. He was very sick when I got him and they were able to treat him and figure out his illness. They are extremely caring and compassionate. I recently moved to South Jersey and have been to a vet once for something minor - but the treatment is nothing compared to the personalized treatment at Bergen-Passaic Animal Hospital - and I miss them very much. Everyone who works there is extremely helpful as well. I cannot praise them enough!

My whole family brings their pet here and I have nothing but great things to say about this place! Organized, caring, clean!! My dog just recently got fixed there and they did an excellent job! My friends dog got really sick and they saved her life and shes doing great!! If you love your pet dont bring them anywhere else but here!! Great place, great people!

Dr. Cuccio did not recognized dog neck injury. Suggest it lower back spine injury and request it unnecessary x-rays. Dog prostate exam was harsh and unnecessary. It could worsen initial neck injury. Dog was given painkillers instead of anti-inflammatory drug or steroids. Only quick change to another vet clinic in the area helped my dog to walk again.

Dr Cuccio and staff are very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Ive been bringing my cat here for many years and will not bring her anywhere else. I know she is always in good hands at Bergen Passaic Animal Hospital.

I called and a lady answered me with, "hello...hold on." Ive been on the line for nearly 10 minutes when she hung up on me. Worst service, I could imagine its the same lady people are complaining about, fire her.
