I am very disappointed in the customer service I received at Wieuca Animal Clinic. My dog has been a patient here for over three years. Up until recently, I have had a wonderful experience. My vet Dr. Cato was phenomenal. She was very personal and always helped me understand any issues that would arise with my dog. Dr. Cato recently relocated and no longer works for Wieuca Animal Clinic. I recently called the clinic about some medicine my dog was taking. I was told three separate times by two different people that they would return my call. When I did not hear from anyone, I reached back out and asked to speak to the office manager. I was transferred to her voicemail where I left a message briefly explaining my issue and asked for her to call me back. Still no response. I am very disappointed that due to the lack of customer service of the administrative staff I will be looking for a new vet. ---- After submitting this review, Wieuca Animal Clinic did contact me. They apologized for their lack of communication and customer service. Although it took longer than it needed to, they were able to resolve my issue. I am hopeful that I will not run into this issue again and will consider continuing to use Wieuca Animal Clinic in the future.

Ive used Wieuca Animal Clinic for many years now with our animal "babies". We just lost our last pet as empty nesters and I can tell you that they all handle any type of issue you can imagine with understanding and every effort to find the best possible solution for you and your family pet. We had a dog who did in fact have cancer. They did all they could to help and then recommended a specialist that cared for our sweet Honey. Each of the doctors had a role to play in helping us go through this with her. The doctors that we had most of the contact with are Dr. Moir, Dr. Hardy, Dr. Abercrombie and Dr. Smith through the years. As Honey and our latest loss of Pike, our cat, declined, the patience, love and understanding that Dr. Moir possessed is difficult to put into words. She gave a heartfelt honest assessment still allowing us to make the final decisions and care for our animals as we chose. I could go on and on but know you mainly want to hear that it is the right decision to use this clinic. I can say from my experience, I cant imagine a better place to take your precious pets.

The entire staff here really cares about your pet. Last week I took my timid dog for her annual vaccinations (because I was reminded by the clinics helpful mailing), and she ended up getting sick from one of the medications. Dr. Angie Hardy responded with such compassion and gentleness towards my sweet little (scared) dog. The staff seemed genuinely concerned about making her feel better both physically and emotionally. Additionally, a couple of years ago our pet chinchilla passed away. As an example of their great customer service, Wieuca Animal Clinic stored her in their freezer for us for a month, until we were able to take her to bury at our familys mountain home. As an added bonus, the prices are very reasonable. I had taken my dog somewhere else during the first year of her life, and when we switched to Wieuca, I was pleasantly surprised with the decreased cost of care. I cannot foresee taking my pets anywhere else.

My 9 year old dog was seen at another Animal Clinic near my home (I live in East Cobb) I was told she had anal gland cancer and that she need surgery to remove the gland. I was quoted between $1500 and $2500 for the surgery at 2 different surgical centers. The money was important, but not as important as her quality of life. She would run the risk of incontinence. I originally brought her to the clinic for surgery. Dr. Hardy asked if the gland had been biopsied, which it hadnt. She did the biopsy in the clinic and sent it out. We found out the next day that my sweet dog just had a small cyst infected in the gland.NOT CANCER. I felt such relief. At her last appointment I found out that she was also receiving a shot every year which she did not need. I now drive from East Cobb to Buckhead for all her care.

Wieuca Animal Clinic has been our only pet healthcare provider for 17 years by choice. We have had the very best experience that any veterinarian practice could offer for our cat and our 3 dogs over the years. I cannot put into words the very caring approach that Dr. Andy Smith took when it came time to say goodbye to our cat and our dog both due to end of life illness and its complications. His kindness and gentleness will never be forgotten. Our dogs and our cat have had the benefit of excellent care from several of the doctors in the practice in addition to Dr. Smith: Dr. Mohr, Dr. Cato, Dr. Turner, and their highly qualified assistants plus the very capable staff at the front desk. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of excellence in veterinary medicine. Gaye Stathis Atlanta, GA

Dr. Andy Smith has been our vet for thirteen years. He took care of our beagle Anna from the time she was 8 weeks old until her passing in November 2013. Although we live in Dunwoody and have several vets in the area, it was a pleasure to drive the distance to Buckhead. Why? Because Wieuca Animal Clinic took amazing care of Anna. It was never difficult to contact the office, make an appointment, and see a smile whenever we entered the office. The facility was clean and tidy. Recently my son returned to Atlanta after breaking his leg in Jackson, WY. He returned to Atlanta to continue his rehab and brought back his 40 pound puppy, Needless to say the first thing we did was bring the pup to Wieuca Animal Clinic for her check up. If you are looking for a loving vet, call this Clinic.

Wieuca is where we first brought our dog when we arrived in Atlanta in 1997. Dr. Ann Marie Moir, and Animal Tech Rebecca were amazing with her, so much so that Sydney would literally bark and jump with joy in the car when she saw the clinic through the passenger window. She was always super happy to return there. Weve most recently taken our newest addition to Dr. Moir, a little Manx named Diane, who needed considerable dental work. I am happy to report that Diane was chasing her ball just two days later! Even though there are at least a half dozen vet clinics closer to where we now live, they dont offer the quality of service, or the personal, compassionate touch, that Wieuca does. Its worth the drive across town knowing our animal babies are in such good care.

Ive been going here for close to 15 years. First with our cat and most recently with our Dog. We found out this week that our Dog Bella will need to have a tough surgery or be put down. Such a hard decision since shes been part of our family for over 12 years now. We found Wieuca to be so caring, honest, and easy to work with. Everyone in the office is great to work with and Ann Marie went out of her way to make us feel comfortable about our decision. I can be a tough critic sometimes but I cannot imagine them doing anything better. They are amazing and I love this place!!
