I recently took my cat to Animal Eye Associates because my regular Veterinarian could not figure out about my cats eye. Dr Priehs in the first 5 minutes of my exam informed me that my cat was exposed to a virus that cause some tissue to adhere to his cornea. He eased my mind by letting me know that even though he has a strange looking eye he can still see shadows and his vision in no way is impaired. It was such a relief to finally have a diagnosis and know that my cat is healthy besides a funny looking eye. The staff was so helpful and amazing. I can not wait for the office in Waterford Lakes to open as it is closer to my house. I can not say enough about Dr Priehs and his staff. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. THANK YOU SO MUCH ANIMAL EYE ASSOCIATES

My 9 year old diabetic dachshund, Doodle, had cataract surgery with Dr. Priehs yesterday. I couldnt be happier with the care she received! My dog is quite a problem child, with many health issues, and Dr. Priehs was very forthcoming with his concerns about her & recommendations for surgery. He has a great way of explaining things and followed up with me personally many times after her initial consultation. He approached every decision about her care as if she was his own pet, which is the best thing a veterinarian can do. Also, Doodles surgical technician, Rachel, was amazingly thorough with the discharge instructions for her, I knew she was in great hands recovering from surgery. I am very happy that my Doodle can see again. Thank you Animal Eye Associates!

I have a purebred cat that was having some eye pressure problem with one eye and my regular vet was not sure what the cause was and had me treat him with glaucoma eye drops every day for one year. He checked the eye pressure every two months and for a long time it was ok. Finally one day the drops didnt seem to work anymore and I decided to take my cat to this clinic. As soon as the vet examined him they knew he had an ulcer in his eye that my regular vet could not detect. One week of a specific eye drop for the problem and my cat was back to his old self and all healed. I wish I would have gone sooner, but glad the problem is solved. The only complaint I have is that they are very expensive and I wish they could be more affordable.

Worst place ever. Every time I bring my dog there all they do is charge me insane amounts of money for pretty much nothing. I took my dog there last week 210$ for them to give me Eye lube that I can get for 10$ from almost any pet store. Iv spent over 3000$ over the last two years. Lady at front desk for derm is the rudest lady all the time. Wont recommend this place to anyone. All they do is over charge me for nothing my dogs eye is worst then it was wen I brought him in. Im completely irate with this place an its rude employees. I spend way to much money with this place an pay cash everytime to get such horrible service.

My 6-year-old toy fox terrier, Timmy, developed diabetes-related bilateral cataracts. We were heartbroken, devastated by the news that all he could distinguish was day from night. Dr. Priehs and his wonderful staff performed cataract surgery on both eyes in one day. Timmy now has his happy life back. We owe our dogs life to this surgery, as he was not adjusting well to his vision loss. Anyone considering this surgery can definitely trust their animal to Animal Eye Associates. They will be in skilled, caring hands.

I WOULD PUT NO STAR!!I would NOT recommend Animal Eye Associates in Maitland Fl.. I brought my perfectly healthy dog for eye surgery..they overdosed her on anesthesia..the dog took two week to stop screaming day and night and walking circles..this is about 6 months after the surgery and she cannot see...and is totally disoriented all the time...our regular vet is FURIOUS!!! DO NOT USE THIS SO CALLED.. "SPECIALIST"!!!
