It all starts with the wonderful peanut butter chocolates located at the check in desk, followed by the bright smile of their wonderful receptionist. You sit for maybe 6 minutes to enjoy whatever is playing on their small 55" flat screen, and enjoy a nice cup of coffee on their sleep able couches. Then you are called back for the eye tests by another smiling face, I will admit some of these devices do seem a bit mid-evil but every clinic seems to have the same ones. After the mid-evil tests are over you are taken( if you opt for) to this wonderful mechanism called the optomap which pretty much takes a pic of the inside of your eye!! Dr. Brad then comes in and is very friendly and the most knowledgeable optometrist I have ever seen. Especially when it came to checking out my awesome optomap picture. After all that I got an opportunity to browse their huge selection of designer glasses, which I was assisted by their very knowledgeable optician. Then comes the part that everyone hates, checking out. But thanks to their friendly billing specialist is simple and pain free. I guess the reason is because if I dont know or understand something she is more than happy to take the time and explain it. And why not end this wonderful experience with another delicious peanut butter chocolate!!

I had my and my wifes eye test done and we bought our frames form this clinic in Tigard. I had my glasses (senses) done at Costco but Costco refused to do senses for my wife due to the design of the frame. I called and reported this to Tigard Vision Center and requested to have the frame replaced or have the senses done at their clinic. I was told they can not replace the frame because it is a used frame and we dont take used items back. I pleaded that this frame is as it was bought from them never used but they refused to replace it. I asked them to do the senses for it and they quoted me $814 to do senses. The cost of the same senses at Costco is $210. I even escalated the issue and spoke with the manager Theresa, and she was also very adamant and said the same thing that we dont take the products sold once the product leaves the premises. This was the one of a kind experience in my life. It reminded me the businesses in the third world. I am very disappointed with the level of customer service this Tigard Vision Center has provided me. I will not recommend them to anyone. Be aware.

Before you come to this clinic to get your contacts, be advised that they charge an outrageous fee to fit your contacts. Then they charge you for each subsequent visit if those contacts dont fit. Shop before you come here. Most places I called charges much less for a one time contact fitting, even if you have difficult contacts to fit. This place charged me an arm and a leg and still want me to pay each time I come back if the contacts dont fit right (and I have vision insurance). Thats crazy. When I called to talk to them about it, I was ignored several times. I had to have my insurance company talk to them to resolve the issue. Still waiting to hear back from them. I gave them one star because the clinic was really nice and clean and the doctors are very nice but their price is double what I would have paid else where. I would have been better off not using my insurance and going to another clinic!!!

While the staff was polite and the doctor seemed competent and friendly, something is really wrong with this place. I only saw one other customer while I was there and at least 5 staff, but was left to wait for long periods of time for no reason. The staff acted very strangely and when they finally came up with the billing, they had billed my insurance more than 3x what most people would consider a normal rate for a basic eye exam in this area (not dilated, not imaged or anything) and used up all my benefits so I would have to buy my glasses out of pocket. Then wanted like $400 for frames with basic single vision lenses. I told them politely that I was not happy with their way of doing business and left without purchasing their over priced glasses. At this point they are still billing my insurance for what is, in my opinion, a fraudulent amount. Stay FAR away from this place!

I had my eye exam from Tigard Vision about 3 weeks ago. The staff was so helpful and nice. I saw Dr. Brad and he gave a great exam. I had been told for years that I needed glasses for reading and he informed me that I did not need them. So wondering if the other place that I went to was just making me order new glasses even though I did not need them. I would recommend Tigard Vision Center to my friends and family. It is a No Pressure clinic in my opinion. LOVE IT.

I totally recommend this place. The staff were very professional and friendly, the facility was incredible, and the service is better than I could ever imagine. Making an appointment for my husband, daughter and myself was easy and quick. And when I needed to change the time of my appt. at the last minute they were happy to do so. I actually see another eye doctor at another clinic that Ive been going to for 20 years. But Ive bought my last 2 pairs of glasses from Tigard Vision because of their wonderful and diverse selection of frames. Kristy, the Lead Optician, is very knowledgeable, helpful and fun to work with. All of the staff Ive encountered is very friendly and professional.

My wife and I have had our eye exams done and purchased our glasses here for over 10 years. The service is excellent and the doctors are highly qualified. Whenever we have a problem with glasses, the staff repairs them at no cost and are always delightful. Wonderful place to visit and do business.

I went to TVC recently and Dr. Brad was very knowledgeable and helpful during my exam. He really took his time to explain what is healthy and what is not healthy for people who wear contacts daily. The staff was also very inviting! :)
