Clever Truth

I have visited this office twice. Dr. Ann Edmunds is amazing, super nice, if I was just reviewing her I would say excellent. But her staff is unprofessional and less than competent. I had insurance with the Oregon Health Plan and was on an open card that covered vision because I was pregnant. I confirmed this with OHP, I explained this to the billing woman more than once and each time her eyes glazed over. The staff couldnt figure out how to bill an open card, and didnt bother to call me and let me know that they never ordered my lenses! For months almost every time I called during business hours to see if my lenses were in I got voicemail. Even after calling several times, and being told that the lenses had been ordered and would be there soon, I found out today that they never submitted the order, and now I no longer have vision coverage so it is too late. No apology, lots of excuses, huge hassle. Go somewhere else.

Dr. Edmunds has been my eyecare provider for about a decade, and Ive been very satisfied. She has an uncanny ability to go beyond the basic checks an eye doctor typically does and fine tune a glasses prescription to create a perfect pair, and is always concerned and attentive to overall eye health. Ive been very happy with the glasses, and went back for prescription sunglasses too. Also, Joe is very patient and gives good service on getting the glasses just right from initial fitting to final delivery.

ABC Vision does a great job at getting me the eye information, and eyeglass product that I need. My wife likes them too. They just went above and beyond for me this week, and got a new pair of prescription glasses turned around in two days, so I can wear them, and finally see the ball, for a tennis tournament
