STAY FAR AWAY! SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS IN BROKEN CROWNS AND FAILED TO EVEN STAY ON. I spent thousands upon thousands of dollars at Dr Trans office and company "Image Dental" all throughout Las Vegas and California and still expanding, having all but two teeth crowned. Tran stated that the crowns were far superior to my regular teeth, much stronger and I would not break them due to having a forceful bite and grinding. He strongly recommended at the time that I have them all crowned to prevent this. To keep this as brief as possible, he stated several times after breaking some of the teeth that I didnt have to worry about anything because they had a warranty for 20 years. He stated that warranty to me before purchasing also. at the time I had my entire set of teeth minus 2 of them crowned I received a bill of 430.00 approximately 2 years after completion. I was in a terrible financial position then and of course paid all along so was not expecting this bill. I could not pay it. During this time Dr. Tran expanded his company into several offices across Las Vegas and California and no longer worked on patients or even communicated with them. During a visit while they were replacing a broken tooth and actually honoring the warranty a new dentist that Dr Tran absorbed who was Dr Amy fixed the tooth and stated they she would make a new bite plate for me free of charge which is part of the several thousand dollar dental revamp. This is done to prevent them from having to fix teeth under warranty. I stated that I would come back and did not want to go through the fitting. On the way out of the office, the front desk girl stated that they were not going to continue fixing my teeth until I paid the 430.00 bill that came out of nowhere long after the job was completed. I guess dentists think because they charge 30,000.00 for work that everyone has loads of money to keep paying even after I payed for everything on the spot less what insurance paid. I stated that I would pay eventually just like I paid several thousand dollars to them and that if I did not get the bite plate I would have more problems and they would have to honor it. Long after I obtained the money and set an appointment. The bottom line is they are not honoring the twenty year warranty and agreed that several crowns that broke needed replaced and that the crown that fell off had such little of a tooth that it was not going t stay on. It was not a problem in Dr. Trans professional opinion that it would be fine after he fixed it. The new dentist never thought about that before she made the statement that it basically was not fixed properly. She forgot the owner of the company sold me that 2,000.00 crown and root canal. If anyone is ever going to have the entire mouth crowned make sure the dentist is good and honors the work. Because they try to hold you hostage once in that deep. More updates: I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and BBB has sent me a few emails stating that Image dental has not replied back after several attempts to contact them. They also sent a list of other agencies to file with. In their complaint form I was asked if I would speak to the media and I replied, "ABSOLUTELY" Initially I just wanted them to honor the agreement, now I want a full refund as the relationship is tainted and do not feel comfortable having them do dental work due to the nature of the service.

My husband, Jim White, is a very easy going man. He enjoyed going to image dental when Dr. Steve Ngo was there -- everything was always smooth, affordable, clear, etc. Im waiting to see what happens, but Im hoping my husband will contact Aetna and inform them that theres something very wrong with what was billed to his insurance. I thought I was being paranoid until I searched the web and started reading multiple NEGATIVE reviews about Dr. Hoang and the image dental staff in general. O.K. We have a bit of a problem. Last night my husband looked up his ETNA dental account and saw that in April 2013 your office billed ETNA for $2,330 for cleaning & x-rays. Excuse me? Jim is supposed to get TWO CLEANING PER YEAR (that doesnt go against his $1,500). Im pretty sure that x-rays fall into that category also. In March Jim went in for a REGULAR CLEANING (or that was what he assumed he was getting). He also needed to have two teeth pulled. The teeth pulling was NOT covered under Jims plan, so Dr. Tran charged him $261 cash (approx) for the extractions. Then on 16 September he went in again for a ROUTINE CLEANING ... and thats when Dr. Hoang started doing fillings and mentioned root canals and crowns and charged him over $1,500 on his credit card. He didnt need a root canal so your office is refunding about half the money to him. Jim was in shock when he saw that almost all of the $1,500 alloted to him in his plan was GONE! What part of ROUTINE CLEANING didnt you folks understand? If you were going to do peradontal cleaning or deep cleaning you should have TOLD HIM SO. Im used to dealing with Lindy Romero who was very careful about NOT doing/charging for procedures that would cost Jim "out of pocket". So I want to know why you kept over 1/2 of his $1,500 for a routine cleaning, two fillings, and crown. His REGULAR cleaning should have been covered by insurance. You said that fillings were $75.00 x 2 = $150. How much is the crown? We never really worried with Dr. Ngo and Lindy because we knew theyd take care of Jim. This new "image dental" is NOT user friendly.

I have been to several dentists over the years and I have to say that I was AMAZED at how wonderful I was treated. I was able to call as a new patient and get in within an hour. Upon getting there, not only are you greeted by a caring and professional staff but Dr. Lisa Hoang was not only knowledgeable but kind and understanding. She was able to treat me and I felt no pain. Even Felisha the dental assistant was great! I didnt feel the suction jab my gums and she never let me feel like I was going to drown. LOL I believe they are affordable and trustworthy. I went in thinking I needed an additional root canal and could have been easily sold on the idea and charged for it. Dr Hoang made sure to only do the work that was needed to be done. She was honest and saved me the extra money I would have spent. Thank you to each and every person that helped me when I was in desperate need of your assistance.

I highly recommend the dental team at Image Dental! I just recently had a few of my old silver fillings break and urgently sought out help from Image Dentals providers. Visiting the dentist and knowing you need extensive dental work done can be very daunting, and thats where a friendly, professional front desk staff made all the difference. The office at Image Dental is also extremely flexible and accommodating when booking appointments. They make sure their patients are comfortable and never left waiting. I would recommend Image Dental to any of my own friends and family and cannot imagine getting my dental work done anywhere else.
