Weve been going to Harden Ranch Veterinary Hospital since 2002 anyway, when we got our first dog Barkley. They took care of everything he needed for 12 years, and even sent someone out to our home when he was too sick to go on last year from an aggressive cancer, and had to be put to sleep. Theyve taken care of our purebred Chihuahua Zoe for the past 10 years, and recently helped us with two surgeries for a stray Yorky we found on our porch. Drs. Hogans, Dr. Onuma, and the support folks Elisa, Joanie and Sarah have always worked hard to give us the best possible care for our dog family members. They are flexible, professional, convenient, and very detailed. Now that we have a dog whose breed requires regular grooming, we tried their grooming services next door to the vet clinic for the first time last month and were very pleased, and will be going back several times a year to keep him trimmed and looking his best.

We have 3 beautiful dogs. Two of them have gone to Dr. Onuma since they were three months old, and our other dog we adopted her when she was two. Willow has had a hard time adjusting to her new life, but she loved Dr. Onuma. Dr. Onuma was so gentle, helpful, informative, and sweet! Our dogs love her. The whole staff is sweet and helpful. I feel like I call a lot to ask a lot of questions, and Joni and Sarah are always so sweet and they really help me with getting my questions answered. The boarding area is great as well. We have left our boys there over night when we were out of town, and all though the boys didnt love it, I can tell the staff really cared and took care of them. Vouge groomed our newest addition Willow. And she did an amazing job! Everyone who works at Harden Ranch really care about animals, and I will go to them for my pet care forever.

Prince has been under the care of Harden Ranch Veterinary Hospital since we adopted him as a pup from the Salinas Animal Shelter. Prince did not have a very good start, the shelter staff said he looked like he was being trained to be a fighting pit bull. His ears had been cut down to little stubs and he went into hyper mode when in the presence of other dogs. Regardless, the hospital staff has always treated this difficult patient with kindness and understanding. Special thanks to Dr. Boczar, who attends to him. She can examine him, take his temperature and even blood and Prince does not even move. Sunday appointments are very helpful, as he does not have to come in contact with any other animals. All the staff are very nice and kind.

I had a bad taste in my mouth from previous vet experiences with other clinics I wont mention. So needless to say I was guarded when I brought my Sammy in to the hospital in a crisis state (with an exam and blood test we quickly learned his liver and kidneys were shutting down due to a nasty bacterial infection). It didnt take long to discover he was in the best hands with Dr. Loly and Dr. Sam! Both Drs were patient and thorough in explaining what was going on throughout the entire process. Harden Ranch Vet has earned a forever loyal patient and I cant wait to tell others! Thank you from the bottom my heart to Drs Loly and Sam and all the staff for dealing with this neurotic mother and especially for fixing my baby :)

This review is for the MOTIV K9 Rehabilitation portion of the Clinic. How lucky we are to have MOTIV in Salinas! There are a lot of larger cities in California do not have nearly the capabilities or experience that MOTIV provides for our dogs and cats. I have worked with Becky a dozen times and the Physical Therapy she delivers--Under Water Treadmill, Laser Therapy, Per Swimming Pool and a dozen really cool therapy exercises (scooter, balance balls, balance boards)--is on par with most human physical therapy facilities--maybe even better. After surgery, for weight loss, or to help arthritis--all will benefit! Great people and great place!

The family has been taking its pets to Harden Ranch Veterinary Hospital for many years now. The staff and doctors have been very helpful and knowledgeable. The operation is conducted in a professional manner. They are prompt. The facility is neat and clean. They will give you whatever information is needed for post visit care and follow-ups. We also appreciate the ancillary services available e.g., pet grooming. They are modern with communication technology and up-to-date with treatment procedures. There is no doubt that the care and comfort of your pet is foremost. Yes, Pomeranians do rule. :-)

Ive taken my dogs to Harden since I first came up to Salinas. I think the first year I took my dog Bear there was back in 1997 or 1998. They were across the street from where they are located now. They have always treated my dog and myself like we were family. When Bear got sick and I had to put him down they took such good care of everything. And now I have Jackson and they are giving him the same great care. I wouldnt even consider going to another Vet. The care and the attention that they give your animals is better than any place I have been in many years.

Harden Ranch Veterinary Hospital has become a second home to our furry family members. They have always treated us and our pets with sincere compassion and professionalism. In what could be an expensive visit for our pets they always take into consideration budgets. We also utilized their boarding service for a vacation we took to Hawaii a couple of years ago. We were able to monitor our dogs on our phones daily. I always recommend Harden Ranch to anyone I know who has pets. We will continue to bring our pets to Harden Ranch.

I do note care for reviews that are not true!! I not only take my dog here but my grandfathers pets as well. The staff has always been friendly and professional. They have always made me feel welcome. The vets are awesome very personable. Then there are the boarding facilities! It should tell you something that when my dog gets excited when we go there they treat the animals right! So as for the poor review BAH! The prices have always been reasonable and everything is explained in detail before anything is done

I really hate to see my vets name dragged through the mud, so Ill give a review as someone who actually goes here to treat my animals. They are able to see us if theres an emergency, are always friendly and professional, the vets are very knowledgeable, and theres the added bonus of the attached boarding facilities. The building is clean, the people are great, and the prices are reasonable. Ive never had anything but a positive experience with this vet place, and my standards are pretty high.

Harden Ranch Veterinary Hospital guarantees a great experience from the moment you walk into their light and airy waiting room. Warmly greeted, you are quickly passed to knowledgeable and caring veterinarians who diagnose and treat problems efficiently and thoroughly. You never seem rushed there, they answer your questions clearly and thoughtfully and leave you feeling your animal has gotten the best treatment possible. They do not stop there, but excell at followup care as well.
