I’m a 21 year retired Army veteran and met Dr. Cauthen at the VA Dermatology clinic in Tampa. Although she only comes to the VA once a month and sees many patients besides me, I never feel rushed and I am always very pleased with the level of care, consideration and curiosity she provides me during every visit. Dr. Cauthen is very knowledgeable and can quickly diagnose the very best options to meet my needs. In fact, for years I’ve suffered from razor bumps under my neck (Pseudofolliculitis barbae); Dr. Cauthen provided immediate relief after only one visit. I am currently being treated for hyperhidrosis and feel certain she will greatly improve my quality of life. Her skills and expertise is matched only by her passion for what she does and the professional manner in which she does it. I truly respect and appreciate her approach and highly recommend her. Thanks Dr. Cauthen!

After getting recommended from my family practice and reviewing the MidState Skin Institute on google, I decided to have a simple cyst removed. The PA and medical staff are great, but the office ladies are rude and are not willing or not capable of giving proper customer service. Its okay to send everything to be tested, but not okay to Not tell the patients? Really, all I had was a simple billing issue, but she was quick to point the finger at someone else in her office and tell me to call my own insurace to straighten out the issue. To many options out there to deal with ignorant and rude people. Hopefully the owner is able to make changes soon or shell most likely loose more clients.

Dr Cauthen is awesome! After seeing multiple Drs for an issue I was having she is the only one that cared and told me that if the specialist that I was already scheduled to see couldnt determine a diagnosis to return to her and she would not stop until she found out the cause of my issue. After seeing many specialists and being frustrated beyond belief that was refreshing to hear and meant a lot to me. Now a days your just another patient to most practitioners but not Dr Cauthen! I have been there a few times and my husband as well and we have had the best of care and her staff is always friendly and willing to help. I would recommend her to anyone and have many times!

When I expressed my disappointment with the service I received, the doctor contacted me immediately to address my complaint, and to see what she could do to 1.) Satisfy me and 2.) make her business better. Under the direction of this young, caring doctor, I am sure this business will continue to be an outstanding medical clinic for the residents of Ocala.

Dr.Cauthen was wonderful. The staff here is wonderful too. I had a few moles on my scalp removed. As a new patient I expected to be in the office for at least 1.5 hours but was able to fill out new patient paperwork and have the procedure done in half an hour. I wont be going anywhere else in the future.

I was not insured when I went in to get a wart removed. By far the best buy in town for uninsured people. Call for a quote. They took the wart off, and also checked me for melanoma, because that is what they do. Good people.
